A legend and pioneer in sports broadcasting, Chick Hearn was the sharp-tongued announcer for the Los Angeles Lakers, announcing every game for 40 years before missing due to health reasons.

Approximately half of the book is from his memoir, and the other half are tributes to the great Chick Hearn.
