It takes place two thousand years later in a futuristic time on an Earth that, although it was nearly destroyed by its human population a thousand years before, has been restored to its pristine beauty. Beset by a shipload of fellow prisoners, space pirates, and a need to survive, the adventurers find out many things about themselves and one another. Their task will not be easy, but it is exciting and challenging.
