These ghostly stories come straight from the pages of Tennessee newspapers! Brought to you by the members of Tennessee Press Association, these tales will bring chills down your spine. The Bell Witch, the murder of Dr. Baker and other stories might make you think twice about entering a dark room. Thanks to the newspapers of Tennessee and J. Adam Smith of Haunted Knoxville Ghost Tours for their contributions to this book.
Seems to be more historical information than ghost stories to me, but still a good & worthwhile read.
I haven't visited all of the towns mentioned, but it's interesting to read these stories while in TN. Nothing in here really is nightmare inducing unless your super afraid of ghosts/ghost-stories... No demons, or poltergeists or anything that spooky in these stories.
This is a neat little library book that I borrowed; and not a won book, something I purchased, or a gift. There's also a bonus crossword puzzle at the end of the book (I mentally went over the squares to fill in the blanks as I wouldn't write in a library/borrowed book & was too lazy to get a piece of paper).
Even if you don't believe in anything supernatural, but want a short book on a little history of Tennessee or information about grave digging over the years & how it has changed this might be a good read for you.
