Great conclusion to the first arc and interesting set up for the next one. The daimyo’s son seems pretty annoying lol but I’m sure he’ll be a good foil for Boruto. Really like Shinki, I hope he gets featured more in future volumes (I always really liked Gaara so I guess it make sense I’d like his son lol).

This is definitely getting better!! I wanna know so much more about Shinki and Mitsuki!

Side note I’ve never hated a characters look/style/outfit/outward appearance characterization more than I hate Sarada’s

A nice little foreshadowing for Boruto’s future in the beginning and a whole lot of mild minor mission stuff. Not bad but not that meaty. Sometimes we need some slow stuff to level up, I guess.

This is the third volume in the Boruto series, and I’m starting to get a good grasp of where things will be leading to next. As a refresher; this series is based on the world and characters developed by Kishimoto, but it is actually written by Kodachi. When you look at the character designs closely you can easily tell the difference in styles and tendencies.

I'm really confused and a little upset that the movie didn't include Boruto's meeting with Momoshiki or that he never received the diamond mark on his palm. These seem like crucial points for the rest of the story, yet they totally glazed over it. Hopefully they'll address it in the anime.
I'm really excited to see how Boruto's byakugan blood will come into play in the future, especially regarding how his "blue eyes will fail him". Unless they're talking about how he'll need the byakugan in the future and won't have them. I'm also excited to see Boruto train under Sasuke more and how the plot will develop!

Another good volume, the battle with Momoshiki continues and its time for Boruto to stand up and he teams up with his dad and they produce a massive Rasengan and so its Boruto vs Momoshiki and he does defeat him with Rasengan and there is a great moment where he stands up and it looks like as if its time for the next generation to stand up but then as time pauses, Momoshiki comes in from behind and tells him a prophecy with his blue eyes and a mark on his hand, a future or a massive battle to come. Then Boruto goes on to being a decent kid and on missions, also his next mission: bodyguard of Fire country's Daimyo's son - Tentou and he is a snotty rich kid. This volume was good, as we finally have Boruto growing up to something and becoming a true ninja hero! But there are also set up for exciting things to come ahead for sure! And the art is just so clean, simple and gorgeous to look at!

4.5 Wow, getting better and better from here. I'm actually really started to love the artwork! It's not like I hated it before, but I think it gets more intricate as the series goes on (both in story and in artwork) and I really admire that.

"No need to be impatient....Focus on the road ahead, not the steps of those who walk beside you. " -Gaara

The most epic thing to happen in this volume is the battle between Naruto, Sasuke, and Boruto against Momoshiki Ohtsutsuki. And Naruto combining his Tailed Beast Mode with Sasuke's Susanoo is totally awesome and out-of-this-world (literally!)

We are seeing a lot of battles in this volume. I am sure that boruto will only progress in the next volume, and we got to see more of team 7 in action! I thought that the enemies were a bit god-ly, or too sovereign for boruto at his state, but I only said that to remember that boruto is a series continued after naruto, and that naruto is boruto's dad. So I thought it's cool we'd see such an end-game boss in the start of the story. Naruto is incredibly powerful, along with Sasuke, but I think the karma seal that Momoshiki gave boruto will lead to his increase in power, but also his demise at the same time, as Momoshiki said.

Tercer tomo terminado...

¡Por fin, pudieron derrotar al enemigo! Bravo, Boruto.

Honestly a good book so far the story has developed about a leaders son taking his own path at life. I really like the emphasis on how Boruto makes it known that this is not his dad's story it is his own. this book has some really really good action scenes in it that makes the book so much more interesting to read. The book's quality and images are very good as well I personally like the design of the book reading it backwards actually is a lot of fun. And I really like the images it really portrays how the books are a lot better than movies or Tv series because the Tv series Boruto sucks and the book is actually really good I am glad I started reading the manga because it has shown me its a lot better than the animated series. Not to mention the book's overall quality especially for being a paperback book it is very study and nice.

This is one quick read. I think I finished this in about half an hour.

We get the conclusion of Boruto's battle with the invader from the previous volume, ominous portents for the future, as well as Sasuke being super creepy, and then the start of a new adventure as Boruto gets a new mission.

One thing I do enjoy is the fact that because Naruto already took most battles to 100, Boruto has to find new ways to top that, and it's super-fun to see what they come up with. There are at least two stupidly cool battle moves in this volume.

5/5 Stars (%88/100)

Definitely better than the previous one and a good way to end the first arc of the series. The relationship between Naruto and Sasuke is superb! They can understand each other and behave accordingly even without talking because they basically grew up fighting together so both of them know what the other is capable of. By the way, this whole arc is much better in anime than the movie because animated the thing from scratch and added a lot of things. The ending was also good and shows how Boruto will be different than Naruto.

Volume three finishes the Boruto movie arc. I like the addition of Boruto receiving his “curse” mark at the end of his battle with Momoshiki. I am excited to read the next few volumes as this will be all new material from both Ikemoto and Kodachi. Boruto has matured since volume one, but I have a feeling he still has room to grow. The supporting cast is fun and I can’t wait to see both Sarada and Mitsuki grow. Great volume overall!

I think this is where the series starts to do a good job of separating Boruto's story from Naruto's. I think both of them kick ass in this one and help each other, but neither looks weak in favor of the other.

And we're started on the little mystery of what's going on with the mark on Boruto's hand. And I almost forgot he's likely inherited some Byakugan!! That's excellent. Interested to see how that manifests!

Maybe only 3.5, it’s still mostly retelling the story of the movie but it’s pretty exciting and we do finally move beyond that, though unfortunately not in the direction that the anime told their story which I think is better. The art is just that little bit off that makes me almost cringe sometimes, a little too baby faced.

This world is the best to be in. Not as good as the original story but better than nothing. Boruto is growing. And I still love that sasuke is still a part of the story. And naruto is so grown up. I'm so proud of him. He has come so far. Living his dreams.
