Down for the crown
This was a quick read that held my attention. Even though I felt that it could've been more depth to Maria and Prentice but overall I enjoyed the story and I'm looking forward to the next book in the series

Excellent
This book had my attention from the very first page. Read it in one day. Great storyline and character development. Prentice got exactly what he deserved. Savannah played herself by cheating on kano. I love Mafia and Kano relationship. Can't wait to read Sky story in part 2. Would like to read a story about Savannah since she is no longer with Kano.

Enjoyed the story. Mafia and Mano was so cute together. You could see that Shannon wasn't right from the start. Ready to see what Sky story details and get some more of Finnesse I like her.

Mafia was a strong woman, that came from a family that had the reputation of not to be messed with. Mafia, and her two cousins; Finesse, and Sky were the loves of Johan's life, besides Kitty, who was Mafia's mother, and Finesse and Sky's aunt. Johan was Mafia's father, and Finesse, and Sky's uncle. Johan ran an illegal operation, but he decided to step down from the operation, to focus on his family.
Mafia and Sky were both married, whereas Finesse wasn't. Mafia loved her husband, Prentice, but due to all of his infidelities, she wasn't in love with him anymore. Mafia had became to despise her husband because he had slowly turned her into a bitter, unhappy woman. She never wanted to fail at anything, but she didn't really have a choice when it came to her marriage. Mafia ended up doing something that brought more heat to her, than what she wanted, but she didn't regret it one bit.
Sky was the sweet one of the three, when it came to Finesse and Mafia. Sky was always positive, and really was the mediator when it came between Mafia and Finesse. Sky was having trouble in her marriage, but she never spoke too much about it. Sky thought that her husband had been moving funny, but she couldn't really put her finger on it.
Finesse was as blunt as they came. She didn't care how you felt about how you felt after she gave it to you raw, often hurting your feelings. Finesse lived by her name, dating men to scam them out of money. Finesse was living a dangerous game, because it was only a matter of time before she ran into the wrong one that would probably turn her world upside down.
Savanah had a lot of regret. She had been in love with her handsome husband Kano, but she often took him for granted, and she didn't support him the way that a wife should. Kano spoiled his wife, and he loved her. Savanah ended up in love with her ex, Tron, that was the complete opposite of Kano. Tron was as disrespectful as they came, and he wanted Savanah to leave Kano, to be with him. Savanah ended up pregnant and didn't know by who, and Tron had exposed her, leaving her in a vulnerable and alone.

Wth! Khan has some nerve although there wasn't much about him aside from what Mafia and Finesse said. Prentice was a bitch that didn't appreciate the real woman he had in front of him. Karma came through on him in a major way. It was a good thing Carly decided to do the right thing. Mafia really did put up with too much for all the wrong reasons. Holding on to something that should've been over took it's toll and caused her to act irrationally. Kano is described as if he's that dude. He knew what he wanted but knew when to set boundaries as well. Now Savannah was trifling and I still couldn't understand why she chose Tron. Like what exactly could he offer to make her step out?! She was trying to play both sides but experienced a much deeper loss behind it. Once Mafia got through her ordeal I was happy with the way things began going for her. She needed someone that loved her for who she was without breaking her down in the process. Kano found the one his mom mentioned he needed and they fit so well together once putting everything on the table. This book was everything and though Mafia went through a few trials, the person that caused so much pain had to learn not to touch her crown. I'm ready for part 2 because that ending may bring out a side of Sky that may surprise a few people.

One thing you will not do is cross a black women while steadily holding her crown. Prentice thought that his antics would play out as long as he put on, but a woman can only take so much. Playing on someone psych for your personal gain isn't always beneficial. Mafia showed up and showed completely out, crippling anymore chances of her heart being torn apart. In this story greed, secrets, distrust were all hurdles that Mafia had to jump over. She's tough and direct, never afraid to speak out. The best part about the story was that the author didn't allowed the characters to cross certain lines until their situations were in order. Mafia wasn't the type to sit back and cry over a trifling man, she consulted with herself and did what was she had too. The story will keep you laughing, and yelling, the funniest scene was the taunting in the courtroom. Finesse and Mafia cracked on each the whole book, but no matter she had her back. Don’t Touch My Crown: It’s The Mafia by Charae Lewis is a interesting read. It’s a totally different story that I read in my life. It’s well written and storyline is on point. Charae Lewis did a excellent job.
Mafia is a strong and interesting character. I can related to this character because we have been through with these men. She has been mentally, spiritually, physically and emotionally to Prentice. Prentice is a straight ass dog and con-artist. Shannon is a something else. Mafia and Kano are a great couple. Shy and Finesee are my favorite characters in this book.
I can’t wait to read part 2 of Don’t Touch My Crown: It’s the Sky and I want to read more about Finesse.

EVERYTHING 🤍
This book was so good!! I loved all of the characters, and the storyline of each. Prentice thought he had one, and Savannah was a dummy. She had a good man and pissed it all away for the likes of Tron. I don’t really care for Finesse but I like the bond that the girls have. I really do hope Mafia and Kano grow. I hope Sky finds someone that truly loves her and brings something to the table. Finesse, idk what I want from her because she’s wilding and haven’t shown be anything positive yet. Overall this book was everything and I know part two is about to be just as good.

Satisfied Reader
This author books are the ones to get with no disappointment. It had a steady flow and I couldn't put it down. Johan had to raise his nieces Finesse and Sky and he did an awesome job he and Kitty. Mafia was in unhappy marriage and tried to make things work but Prentice was a piece of trash and was for self and of course money. I'm glad he showed his true colors before too late. Kano is a breath of fresh air. I can't wait to see what happens in pt.2 poor Sky

Mafia was a little crazy firecracker. Prentice was a sorry excuse for a man with his weak tail. In the end he got exactly what he deserved. It sucked how Kano was treated and it was good to see his ex get exactly what she deserved. I was hoping for good things with her. I can't wait to see how Mafia and Kano's relationship blossoms. Plus I can't wait to see what the Sky's husband's deal is and see what Finesse has to say about it. Great Book Charae.

Yes lordddd. This book was fire! The characters and their personality pulled you in from the beginning. At first I thought Mafia was weak but she really proved me wrong I am so happy her relationship with Kano blossomed into something beautiful. Although Savannah made a mistake that I hated her for its good to see that she is trying to move on. Finesse needs a man so she can stop all that scamming and poor Sky that girl needs a backbone.

This book was really good. I’m new to this author but already she is blasting her way to auto buy with her wild storytelling. Mafia and Kano had some really parallel marriages. Im glad they didn’t allow their ex spouses to ruin their future. This book has the right ingredient for a five star book-great story that was well written, great lead and side characters that help the book move forward, and humor. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

Awesome read
I think this was an awesome book. It hooks you in right from the beginning and it keeps your attention through out the entire book. All of the characters are developed and this book has petty aspects about it but it speaks the truth. When someone told me about this author, I had no idea that I would be hooked. I cannot wait for part 2 because its about to go down.

Charae Lewis once again comes through with her gangsta pen game and held me hostage until the end! The lesson in this novel is never let a peasant take you off your throne and have your crown ! Mafia was a Queen and finally met her King Kano! I can't wait to see how Sky boss up in part 2!

Alright Charae This was hot
I love the approach Charae took with this series. It was so good and Kano was everything. Mafia and her family are nothing to play with and I loved the bond Johan had with the girls. Sky's story will be good I can't wait that ending had me like Whaaaaaaaat. Awesome read can't wait for the next installment

When I first started reading I was thinking 🤦🏾♀️ another spineless but I know Charae doesn’t disappoint so I kept reading and I got my life lol. I loved the spin of how things turned out for the good for both Mafia and Kano and how the exes karma came to them! I can’t wait for the baby and marriage for them.. Waiting for book 2 though!!

I'm a new reader to this author, and I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The author was very detailed and created her characters perfectly. I got a feel of each Character's personality, and was able to visually see them in their roles. This was a great read. Eagerly awaiting Part 2.

I was almost get upset with Mafia but she got it together, love Kano, I’m happy Prentice got his karma he was definitely getting on all my nerves. I love that Kano and I'm glad Savannah messed up so he and Mafia can be together. Prentice got everything he deserved, I like Finesse too she tells it like it is but she better stop taking men money. Sky is going to snap she's a good woman to her sorry husband and he springs that mess on him.

This was not a good read to me. I normally enjoy all of his author’s work, but not this time. I did enjoy each characters personality but I couldn’t stand the names chosen. The storyline felt rushed and didn’t stand out or have anything exciting. I will not be reading the other two books.
