ENJOY BEING YOU

What a sweet and fun book for children with a great lesson of accepting yourself for who you are and not wishing you were someone else. A great and creative way of looking at what makes each person special. The messages and scenarios within the story are things that children face among their peers.

The book is in rhyming format and is beautifully illustrated.

"May you embrace your uniqueness and find the courage to live a life that is yours alone to live."

As the grandmother of ten unique and wonderful individual children, this book is a welcomed addition to our children's library. I am sure they will enjoy it over the many years to come.

I won a copy of this book during a Goodreads giveaway. I am under no obligation to leave a review or rating and do so voluntarily.

I loved this book. The illustrations are great. They capture the attention of small children. The story is great. You can stop and point out things to small children. You could read the bee’s part in funny voices and you would have them giggling. So I highly recommend it.

I just loved this book. A boy meets a bee who helps him see that you are unique, and how important it is because things would not be very interesting if we were all alike. The bee gives examples, and the reader comes to this conclusion. The bee's dialogue is fun as it is full of zzzs. The illustrations add an other level to the text at times. I especially enjoyed seeing the boy's friends in his clothes, and his friends playing in the dark. The book ends with a page where you can list reasons you love being you, and the next page allows you to draw yourself doing something that makes you happy. Although the audience is intended for children, I think that the message is for everyone.

Thank you Goodreads for an advanced copy for an honest review.
