This series just got better and better and better!!! The story line is not the same old "tormented girl + dominate man + sex club = HEA."
Yes. Angela was tormented, but so was Kris. Yes. There was a BDSM club; Club El Diablo. But, the fact that Angela and Kris could have been the perfect couple or a perfect disaster was thrilling and heartwarming all at once.
I purchased this book and could not put it down! Now I have to wait anxiously for the next installment of Club El Diablo.

HOT, emotional, sexy and an all-around terrific and engrossing read that touches the reader very deep down inside. Well that’s what it did for me. It actually touched me so very deeply that I cried and cried some more, both tears of sadness and happiness. A very sensual and endearing reading experience that any fans of the genre will fully enjoy!

Kris lives the rock star life, well some of it any way. He’s a very talented extremely hot musician with many truly impressive skills. He carries himself as he should and shows only what he wants to. He has deep hidden cracks within his heart, soul and person that are in need of repair. After winning a battle with a disease known as abuse and addiction of drugs and alcohol, he’s ready to face the world with clearer sight. But is he ready to help another after he just got through helping himself?

Angela is a troubled soul. Her past haunts her in ways that cause her emotional and physical break downs. She’s hurting, badly. She experienced a very traumatic past and feels as if she’s broken, so broken she’s beyond repair. She’s truly a beautiful woman with a soul that is just as amazing. She craves what many woman want, someone to love, honor and cherish her and she can do the very same for. But she has yet to find one to fit the bill. When Kris walks into Club El Diablo her heart seems to instantly claim him. But should she listen?

I absolutely adored this story (if you've not been able to tell). The characters, setting, everything is just fantastic. So vivid and gripping that you'll not want to put it down for a second. I warn you. Have tissues handy because you’re going to need them. Holly Roberts ROCKS!

I don't know why I'm surprised when I start crying in the middle of one of her BDSM novels, but I always do. She has such a unique ability to make the people in her stories so real that you care for them, cry with them, cheer for them and yes flinch and gasp and get a little wet with them. She's done it again with Kris and Angela to wounded souls who complete each other. It was so nice to visit with Lydia and Damian again and Club El Diablo, I love their daughter! I wish I could be a fly on the wall when she hits her teen years.

I highly recommend all the books in the Club El Diablo series!

I loved this story of two imperfect people finding love. But, most of all I liked the fact that being in love didn't "fix" everything.

Great series. I can't wait to read the next one.

Holly Roberts is the queen of true BDSM relationships. Her El Diablo series is pure ecstasy and leaves you wanting more. The story of Bad Boy Dom is more of the BDSM that we love getting from Holly. About 2 people with an extreme amount of baggage finding their way in life and learning to live with the demons of their past.

Krispin is a rock n roll god who likes total submission. After having gotten himself clean and freshly out of rehab he makes his way back to Club El Diablo in search for something more, something meaningful. What he doesn’t plan on is falling for someone else’s sub.

Angela is broken and not easily put back together. Her heart shattered years ago, she needs constant care and dominance. Pain is what she craves to know that she is still breathing and her heart is in fact still beating in her chest. Sheltered by Lydia, the head mistress of El’ Diablo, Angela knows that this is what she wants for her life. Care, attention, love, and the power to give her submission knowing it’s in good hands. After meeting Krispin something inside her shifts, leaving her wanting more. Leaving her wanting a true D/s relationship and for the first time in forever she is willing to try and go after it.

Can Angela truly let herself fall in hopes that Krispin will catch her? Does Krispin truly have his addictions under control or will one slip cause him to hurt yet another sub? Or will Krispin and Angela finally find what they have been looking for in each other and health the wounds of their past together?

“We can fill the cracks Angela. I’m not asking for anything but today; one hour, maybe an evening, and then I’ll ask again. I come with baggage. You come with baggage. Maybe our clothes can mingle for a while and iron out a few wrinkles.”

If you are looking for a true gritty and dirty BDSM book than this one is for you. Start from the very beginning of the El Diablo series and devour them. Something about the way Holly Roberts writes that pulls me into the story as I am living it out in true life. She has a way with words that makes you feel everything the characters are feeling. Her stories are not for the faint of heart that can’t handle true BDSM, yes we all love Christian Grey but sadly that is not the extreme that BDSM can take you. Wipes and chains alike, there is so much more to the relationship between and Dom and a submissive.
There really aren’t words to describe how in tune Holly gets with this lifestyle; you have to read it to believe it. She takes the words off the pages and brings them to life. She is the master of BDSM in my eyes and her brilliance continues to shine in every book I read of hers. The characters are dynamic and complex with issues that would leave me immobile. Somehow, someway their lifestyle and the people around them help them heal and they always find what they seek out.
Not only does Holly bring us grit and kink in Bad Boy Dom but she throws in a bit of humor just when we need it.

Angela reached the count of twenty. Lydia lifted a paddle from her toy bag and placed it in my hand.

“Give her ten,” she said, “and then take good care of my sub or I’ll feed your stiff dick to my dog.”

There really isn’t a way for me to describe the amazing work that Holly puts on paper you just need experience it for yourself. I will say I have read a lot of her work, numerous novels in the El Diablo series and her full Completion Series and she has never disappointed me yet. She is brilliant, a piece of genius that I get to enjoy over and over again.

This was a really good story. At first I had a hard time understanding Angela's reaction to Kris once I got into the story and realized that she used the whippings as an emotional outlet and they talked about her history I understood her. Kris had his own demons and I loved that he felt drawn to Angela. Rock-n-Roll superstar Krispin Righteous walked into Club El Diablo, looked around, and saw what every man fantasized about. His need to dominate returning to the kink club after getting out of rehab for drugs and alcohol she sees just what he needs Angela who is under the protection of Lydia a domme who is married to his friend Damon. Angela is a beautiful woman with a soul that is just as amazing. She craves what many woman want, someone to love, honor and cherish her and she can do the very same for. But she has yet to find one to fit the bill. When Kris walks into Club El Diablo her heart seems to instantly claim him. I loved the narrative being spit between the two characters and clearly marked when the voice changes. Really easy to follow and it helped you understand both sides of the romance. Fabulous story telling. The characters were engaging and you easily loved them for their flaws and strengths. The author does a wonderful job of bringing them to life and making them relatable. I love reading Ms. Roberts work I can't wait to read more about the other members of the band.

It took a little time to get here but this is the promise I felt in the first book! I knew this series had the ability to make me laugh and cry at the same time!!!

Two damaged souls coming together and helping each other heal is beautiful!! I love a bad boy musician and Krispen really delivers! Angela is dented but not broken. Her spirit is wonderful and I loved all her sass!! She is one of my new fav heroines!! Sure she has issues but don't we all.

I loved the narrative being spit between the two characters and clearly marked when the voice changes.Really easy to follow and it helped you understand both sides of the romance. Fabulous story telling. The characters were engaging and you easily loved them for their flaws and strengths. The author does a wonderful job of bringing them to life and making them relateable. Wonderful pacing, even though it is novel length it did not feel long.

Loads of BDSM scenes going on and while I am not into pain it was interesting to read. You really get more into the head of the submissive who needs pain and the motivation behind the need. There is a surprising lack of detail in the actual sex scenes but it does not hurt the story one bit.

I can not wait for the next book with the other bandmates! Yummilicious indeed!

Each book of the Club El Diablo series gets better and better! I loved this book and I loved that the characters were damaged and not perfect.. I was cheering on the characters and I was so glad that there was a HEA.. Angela was a protected and loved sub and yet she had to accept herself and see that she was worth the effort that others made to help her. Krispin was a recovering alcoholic/drug addict rock god that needed to learn to be the Dom that he was destined to be. It seemed to be an impossible pairing but Holly Roberts made it work! I could not put my Kindle down!

I want more books in this series- the club is unique in its layout and the D/s relationships are terrific... Keep up the great work!

This book is so full of hope for the characters as they both deal with personal issues while becoming a couple. Angela is a returning character from the series who has a few issues to deal with while Krispin is battling addictions. Once again we see past characters that we love and meet some new ones that steal your heart. I loved that Holly Roberts dealt truthfully with the issues and did not try to sugarcoat or over did them This would have been a great read even without the kink. But that was hot also.

Another BDSM book done right once again by Roberts. This one focused on more of the pain side of BDSM, which I'm not at all into, but I still found it enjoyable. I love love love that Roberts focuses on SSC and makes BDSM stories the right way. I REALLY loved that she didn't take the route so many authors are these days, where they break up over something stupid, just to get their HEA later. YAY for Krispin and being a true Dom and getting his sub's feelings out of her! YAY!!

First book by this author I have read. I liked how well rounded the characters were and they were not perfect but had flaws. Despite their flaws I liked how the author gave them their HEA. I didn't think this was as sexy as I like something was missing despite the great story telling.

I will definitely read more by this author!

Another great instalment in the series. Love the club and the characters. Lydia is still my favourite, even my inner Domme would happily submit to her.

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I wasn't a fan of the constant changing of 1st person POV. Yeah it was necessary to some extent but just not the type of narration that floats my boat. (A case of it's me, not the book).

Re-read January 2025: C Mehh. First of all, I don't care for the sharing, and the heroine having another domme than the hero. Secondly, the hero is a recoverring addict and music star. Urgggh, about the most unattractive combo that's out there. C

Tight and neat writing, likable characters, fabulous plotting and great kink. Definitely a new favourite. B+

Bad boy rocker Krispin Righteous is seeking redemption after finally hitting rock bottom. Angela is a tormented soul and walks a fine line daily between sanity and self destruction. She's under Lydia's protection but Krispin wants her from the moment he sees her. Will his Dominance give her the things she needs in order to function is the question.

Holly Roberts' characters are wonderfully written and genuinely likeable. This storyline about the psychological trauma caused by sexual abuse, the crazy world of rock and roll and how it seduces with drugs and alcohol and love strengthening two damaged peoplevis poignant and beautiful.

Bad Boy Dom by Holly S. Roberts

I received this book from Ms. Roberts as a prize. I’ve not read any of the other stories in this series but fell right into this one so reading in order is not a must.

This was a story about Kris, a rock star who has made some bad life choices and his redemption and about Angela who has be damaged by her childhood and found comfort and acceptance. A moving book with some quirky characters that I look forward to getting to know. I will be reading more about this club and it’s patrons!
