I had this book for a while now, but I started it this morning and I finished it by early evening thinking to myself why did I wait so long to read it. I enjoyed all 4 books and I am happy I had them in one volume because the story continues throughout them.
It was easy to fall in love with Tal, he is the hero we all look for, imperfectly perfect, protective and giving it all to the woman he loves. He did fall hard for the heroine, Sonny, who is still traumatized by her past experience. They click and in the end they help each other heal. Their journey is bumpy, but oh so pleasurable and hawt. Make sure you have some ice water handy LOL Next I have to get me the audios Sonny was listening to, even reading about them, I was fanning my face.
I will have to check out the author's other books too.

LOVE THIS BOOK!! I loved Tal and how big he is, yet he is so gentle and understanding. This was an amazing read and just about everything that this author does is amazing. It was a fairly quick read and I enjoyed the plot and the characters.

Short and sweet. Now is the time to tell I don't like audiobooks at all so a big part of the story mechanically can't work for me. Otoh, I will never be able to resist a Teddy Bear and strangely enough I was rooting for his happily ever after more than the heroine's one.

Absolutely love Tal for Sonny!!! It was incredible and very sweet how he was able to help her after a trauma (rape & torture). This is the complete book. It has audio clip that works too (neat idea...I would need a deeper voice to enjoy...to each their own, right?!!... 😉) HEA 💕💕💕💕💕
I did quite like his last audio recording for her😈❤️💋💋❤️🔥
On the more serious side: It’s also so disgusting how people treat others, hurt, harm, torture, yet these weasels first have to rely upon drugging their victims… it’s nice when they get some karma delivered back onto them, especially when a big powerful protector gets to inflict just a teeny-tiny-fraction of pain back onto them, one can hope they will get the rest of said “Karma” in prison x 10!!!
By the way, Leandra is an awful friend 🤨
