What an excellent story, an action thriller that does not quit! The author writes a tale that grabs you by the throat and squeezes, as a devastating bomb goes off in the new police headquarters in New York City, where Thomas Blume is on his way to a cell to see the man who murdered his family. As walls come down and fire reigns the ex- police officer is climbing over dead bodies searching for any evidence of where Ronald Teach, the killer, has gotten to.
Things happen as Tom climbs out of the rubble, meeting up with his ex-partner, and handed an envelope by a delivery boy that starts ringing!
Teach is hunted by many other lettered Agencies, but Blume wants to get him on his own for his family.
The intrigue and suspense do not let up,this is a super story for any thriller reader, as P.T.Reade gives us amazing characters and encompassing action! A thoroughly enjoyable book.

Excellent Story. This really was a very enjoyable read. If you like Action Thrillers, then you will love this book. I thoroughly enjoyed the Intensity of the story. It’s full of great characters that are quite diverse, and it has an Interesting plot to top it off. It’s definitely one of those stories that pull you in, and P.T. Reade has done a great job. Especially with Thomas Blume as the main character.
Thomas Blume would do anything to get hold of Roland Teach, especially after what he did to his family. Now he has even more incentive when an anonymous caller claiming to have blown up the police headquarters is threatening to detonate another bomb if Blume doesn’t help find Roland Teach. Not that it’s going to be easy getting the information the police have, as Blume is no longer a detective, and besides the building is on fire. Roland Teach is certainly a wanted man, with the CIA, MI6, and Mossad, are just a few of the agencies after him. The body count is adding up quite quickly, and Blume is taking quite a beating, but he’s not about to give up in his hunt for Teach. There is a lot to like about this book, and I would certainly recommend it. It’s a fabulous story.

What did I like? As I said before this man Thomas Blume has stolen my heart. After having his family taken from him, he is just trying to survive the guilt and get on with his life after he finds out why?????

Great details and every growing storyline. Mind-blowing characters, gripping twists, and turns expanding the plot to an extraordinary conclusion or is it? Can’t wait for the next book. This was a dynamite (no pun intended) book that left me thirsting for more. I NEED to know what happens next. This was full of action and had you waiting for the other shoe to fall. A flawed man whose life was broken searching for answers. I was hooked from book one. There are just some authors who you have to follow and PT Reade is one of them. I was lucky enough to receive an ARC in return for a fair and honest review and I would do no less for any book I read.

Wild ride

FLASH POINT by P T Reade. Bomb, debri and bodies. Bike guy with a delivery for Blume,an envelope. Phone call, he was a fan of Blume 's work, did he like the bomb, to get his attention. Blume given the ultimatum, kill or more will be killed. Name Roland Teach, you have the gift to find people who don't want to be found. Will Blume agree. Teach knew something that's why he was the target. Was Teach involved in the murder that destroyed Blume's world. What follows is a fast pace thriller to piece the clues together. Was Blum the target. Readers will definitely enjoy this book

P.T. Reade just knows how to write an action thriller. Throughout the whole series I've just been hooked on Thomas Blume's drama and his progression through the books. And what a cracking ending, can't wait to read the next book.

Aside from some timeline confusion in the very beginning(how to fit so much into a very small windows of time) this novel didn't disappoint. Looking forward to the 7th book.

Well written action packed adventure. A detective is used to find a bad guy or bombs will go off killing innocent people. More going on than meets the eye. Want to read the next book.
