Alfie’s wild days of University are over. In an effort to make a new image for himself, he takes over as CEO from his father’s company and lives a proper life, wowing people with his innovation.
The only thing missing, is a good woman and some excitement. Both are just around the corner.
Being the good guy he is, he rescues his best friend’s bride as she runs from the alter the day of the wedding, and for good reason. His best pal cheated on her the night before… many nights before.
He offers her a place to stay for a few weeks, and the welcomed friendship quickly turns into a taboo relationship that he can’t live without.
What will the world think when the story comes out? Is this beautiful American woman worth the taint that might settle on his new reputation?
Enjoyable story. Molly was ready to get married but found out her fiancée cheated and left with Alfie’s help. Alfie & Molly always had an attraction to each other and now having Molly spend time at is house may be exactly what they both need. Alfie & Molly we’re great together but one misunderstanding could ruin everything. I liked the characters and the flow of the story.

These may not be the best romances I have have read, but I do believe, they are the longest. Each one, forty, and fifty, and sixty chapters long. And extremely long chapters at that. Not a pleasant afternoon romance among them. Each one, is a career in itself. Way much more time than I want to invest in, what turns out to be, fairly mediocre romances. There, are about a blue million of these mile long stories in this collection. They are all much too long, much too repetitive, and would all have been dramatically better, had somebody edited out about half of each of them.
This is the first time I have read Claire Adams,,, and damn, have I been missing ALOT.... !!!
This is an adorable story of Molly,,, now, Molly was all set to marry Harry over in the community of Devon, outside of London,,,, and on their wedding day,,, Harry is hung over and reeking of booze and his best man Alfie is the only one of the groomsmen that is clear and clean and he KNOWS what Harry had done, or should we say WHO Harry had done last night,,, Harry doesn't see anything wrong with it, as long as nobody tells Molly,,, Molly has moved over there from New York, USA to have her life with her would be husband, until her maid of honor, Peyton, told Molly what she had seen last night,,,, she had seen Harry kissing another girl and then taking her upstairs to his room he had rented,,, Peyton goes to tell Harry that Molly is gone and wont be back,,, while Harry's best man goes out and sits with Molly and they talk about how sorry Alfie was about last night and Molly said there was nothing for him to be sorry for, as she thinks Harry was fooling around on her for awhile now,,, Alfie feels bad for Molly,,, he gives Molly his keys to his rental and to his house,,, she can stay as long as she'd like, no strings attached,,, he would leave her alone tonight and Peyton is going to give Alfie Molly's bag to give to her in the morning,,,, she takes the car,, thanks Alfie and drives to Alfie's home,,,, she didn't know it was a gated mansion with all the servants,,,,
Alfie has been Harry's best friend since his Uni days and he really thinks that Harry has become a real screw up to ever cheat on Molly,,, to let this beautiful woman down,,, Alfie is rich, owns his own company that was his father's, and so totally would love a chance at Molly, but he was to much of a man to even encroach on Molly, just because she was a guest in his house and his besg friends ex-fiance, and that would not be right,,, the next couple days they co-exist with each other as Alfie goes off to his office, but the next day, he takes off wotk to take Molly window shopping and to maybe walk around the community of Devon,,, everywhere they go, everybody knows Alfie and has a good word about him, or a story,,, Molly loves to listen,,, they go out and eat supper at the bar his friend owns, and Molly starts breezing thru Tequila with a beer back... they both have had some to drink, although Alfie wasn't as toast as Molly, but they get home, one thing leads to another, Molly asks Alfie to kuss her, and them some very steamy action happens,,,, and after it happens, Molly slides out from under Alfie's arm and goes to her guestroom, with plans to leave tomorrow,,,,,,
Ok,,, I've told you a tad bit of the story,,, but thankfully, Claire Adams writes this book and not me,,,, you would never want that,,, LOL,,, go to your bookstore that you visit online and grab this, and any other of Claire Adams' books,,, I am now just realizing I am missing out on an awesome author,,,,
On the very day Molly is to marry Harry she finds out that he cheated the night before and most likely has been doing so longer than that. She wants to escape but has no idea what to do that is until Alfie Harry's best man offers his car and place as a getaway for her. Alfie can't believe what his friend has become and wants no part of him. When he finds Molly outside he does the only thing he can and helps her by giving her a place to regroup. Molly wasn't expecting anything to happen with Alfie but the more time they spend together the more she wants him. Alfie tried to be the gentleman and not be anything but a friend to Molly but when they are out drinking things just get away from them. Alfie sticks up for her against Harry which makes her want him even more but she's not sure if she should try for something serious just coming off of almost getting married. Everything was going smoothly until a misunderstanding sending Molly running and Alfie going back home not knowing what to do. Can Alfie and Molly find their way back to each other?
I loved this story and stayed up late just to finish it. I loved how Alfie just wanted to take care of Molly and how the complimented each other. This was a well written story and relatable characters. If you haven't read anything by this author then this would be a great book to start with.
I voluntarily read this book and have left and honest review.
It's a good romance that still has more potential. Alfie helps Molly out when she cancels the wedding after discovering her fiancé cheated on her. Having moved from the States to London for him, Alfie's help is more than appreciated. Being together so often and getting more familiar with each other gets them closer. Molly has just been burned and Alfie used to live for work and he was supposed to be the best man on her now canceled wedding so they have reasoons to stay away from each other. Only true feelings are stronger than any obstacles. It's a good and well written romance that's interesting to read. I didn't really see a problem for these two. Alfie wasn't such good friends with Harry, they more of old acquantainces. The only reason I see is that it might be too soon for Molly. They're a perfect fit and it's wonderful how caring and helpful Alfie is. Still, I found it odd that they immediately responded to each other. I doubt in such a situation such thoughts would be normal for either one of them the same day or day after. Also the way they acted and interacted was somehow odd at times. I had an advanced copy and my review is voluntary. I enjoyed reading this romance and can recommend it.
On Molly's wedding day she finds out her soon to be husband Harry cheated on her at his bachelor's party the night before. What's a girl to do? She packed up her life in New York to move her to England. Harry's best man Alfie gives Molly the keys to his car and his home to stay while she figured out what to do. Alfie can't believe Harry is the same guy he knew from Uni. It's like they've changed places. When Alfie met Molly, he has always had a thing for her. Now that things are over with her and Harry, will be make a move? Great read. I couldn't put down till I was finished. This book says it has four additional books in it but, it actually has six. The first extra book is called Billionaire's Best Women with Parker and Sienna. The second extra book is called Billionaire's Vegas Night with Gabriel and Luna. The third extra book is called Sleeping with my boss with Asher and Lilah. The fourth extra book is called Rock star billionaire with Owen and Nalia. The fifth extra book is called Investigated Billionaire with Delilah and Brandon. The last extra book is called Billionaire and the Amish Girl with Adam and Grace.
I really enjoyed this story. It was a little predictable considering the plot, but the author still managed to keep the characters and their story interesting.
With his wild days at University behind him, Alfie has matured and is now the CEO of his father’s company. He stands up at his college mate’s wedding, but is disappointed in how he is treating his soon to be wife.
Molly knows something is off with her fiancé, but believes they will manage to work it out. She is a talented marketing executive in America, but left it all behind to start her married life oversees. She finds out what a jerk Harry is right before she is supposed to walk down the isle and Alfie comes to her rescue.
Alfie and Molly need each other. She shows him that he can have it all with the right person and he shows her that there are good, caring men out there who value a good woman. This story has lots of sexy time, romance, and a good storyline that ties up nicely. I really became invested in these characters and even the secondary characters. Only issue: needs a good editor. There were some grammatical errors and places where wrong names were used. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Very well written short story with great storyline and plot. I like that the characters are relatable and likeable. I like the main characters and how they develop. I like the pace of the story. About taking the part of your friends bride who he cheated on and then want her for yourself. A bad situation but also one you have to solve.
It is written in dual POV which gives the reader much more of the thoughts and feelings of the main characters. The epilogue is very welcomed and gives the story more to it and it finishes it better of than without it. I like the supporting characters very much. Material for a new book here?
There are family issues, passion, drama, emotions, hot scenes and lots of chemistry in this amazing story.
I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I really enjoyed this latest book from Claire Adams! The storyline was perfect and the emotions were real and deep between the characters. Not to mention the chemistry and tension between the two of them kept the pages burning. With a series is miscommunications and missed chances these two almost lose their chance. But a beautiful HEA at the end of it all. Great read. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book. Hero, Alfie = 5/5 Heroine, Molly = 5/5 Chemistry = 5/5 Sex = 5/5 Plot = 4/5 Mystery = 1/5 Action = 1/5 Darkness = 1/5 Humor = 1/5 POV = dual Would I recommend this book = yes Would I re-read this book = yes Would I read future books by this author = yes
4.5 Stars This standalone British Billionaire Romance features Alfie and Molly. On her wedding day she needed an escape from her cheating fiancé. The best man was there. After the whole “almost” wedding, Alfie was there to rescue Molly. He couldn’t have been more supportive. They really did fight their SIZZLING HOT attraction. Their struggle was heartbreaking and beautiful.
I love strong female leads! The characters in this book are fantastic. I do feel there could have been a tiny bit more drama with Harry but the story line was strong all the way through regardless. I need to read more by this fabulous author.
Running away into right arms I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of Billionaire's runaway bride by Claire Adams. A wonderful love story between American woman and English Man. I loved the way the story traveled. Alfie, an one time playboy, currently a CEO, who now crave for a true relationship. He helps his friend's bride, Molly, to runway of the marriage, when they finds he cheated on her and shelters her. Their little attractions kindles into heated love making and falling for each other. Somewhere in between they get caught into the crossfire if misunderstanding and parting but leads them to their HEA.
Alfie is dedicated to his company. When Molly learned that her fiance was cheating on their wedding day, she had no clue what to do. Neither can stop the avalanche of feelings. Will Alfie be able to take a step back before it is to late? Will Molly take a chance on love again?
I was happy that Molly didn't stick around once she discovered the truth about her ex. I loved how Alfie owned his past, but wasn't like it anymore. I do think that both were gun shy for different reasons on their relationship! Good read!

I absolutely love Claire Adams work. Each and every story keeps me entranced throughout the whole story and makes me beg for more when I finally reach the end. This story is no different.
Molly and Alfie have an interesting beginning. He was her ex-fiance's best man. When she runs, he allows her to stay with him, never expecting their feelings to grow and for their chemistry to be so hot.
I cannot wait to see what Claire has next. I'm voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.
Claire Adams is one of my favorite new authors. I really enjoyed Billionaire's Runaway Bride, there are a lot of bonus books included, some I had already ready some, were new to me. Honestly, when there are bonus books, I can't ever remember the names of the books. The kindle show the name of the main book not the bonus. But I absolutely loved a few of the bonus books, I just can't tell you their names :( Get Billionaire's Runaway Bride for the title story, be completely entertained by the bonuses!!
I usually love the stories that Claire Adams writes I like that you still get regular type people the women aren't always tall skinny blondes that are stuck up and were model types some authors seem to only love. But.....This one was a little slow and it didn't keep my attention. I'm a fast reader so usually I'm done reading in no time but this book took me a while. I gave it a four because the storyline was there and it wasn't terrible. But I just felt like it needed something and maybe it needed to leave a few things out.
The story was exactly what you expect but the book needs a serious edit. There are many typos throughout including two different ages for Molly. However, the most annoying thing for me was how unrealistic the English setting was. Being a Brit myself, the attempts at setting it between London and Devon was completely unrealistic. You wouldn't commute the 4+ hours a day from Devon to London in the morning! Then back again after work. This made timings off for several incidents in the story.
This was a lovely story, it was well written and kept me entertained, poor Molly finds out on her wedding day that her husband to be had been cheating, she promptly leaves him and like a good best man, though he's supposed to be the grooms mate, Alfie sides with Molly and helps her. The chemistry between them was brilliant, I couldn't put this down. I love Claire Adam's stories I received an advanced copy and voluntarily leave my own opinion
Molly's a runaway bride at her wedding after finding out that her groom to be cheated on her the night before. She's rescued by Alfie, the best man who lets her camp out at his house. It's not long before mutual attraction sets in and lots of steamy scenes follow. No spoiler here, but do they have their happily ever after? Well written with great characters and an entertaining storyline. I read an advance copy and voluntarily chose to write a review.
This was a short sweet read about a gilted bride and debonair best man. Alfie is the quintessential English gentleman and molly is the demure American bride with a bit of a wild kinky side. She gave up everything for a man she thought would make her happy for the rest of her life, despite what everyone else tried to tell her. This book does have a cute and happy ending but it takes Alfie and Molly a bit to get there.
Luckily Molly pulled off her wedding to the cheating heartless bastard. The groom’s bestfriend, Alfie let her stayed at his house. They were hots for each other. She gave him marketing ideas and it went successful. She was so angry at him for not giving her some credit. She met with his bestfriend, Logan and Logan said Alfie had some issues but he loves her. So she fly back to London to fight for their love. They planned to matchmake her bestfriend, Peyton and Logan to be together.

This is a very good book it held me captive to the very end. If you love a wonderful love story this is the perfect book. If not I believe it will change your mind once you start reading it. You will enjoy this book I know you will and following the characters will keep you captivated. I loved reading this book and I already bought the five book special at the end. So go get your book you will love it.
Claire Adams writes a beautiful story with well developed characters and filled with a variety of emotions. Alfie and Molly have such sexy sweet chemistry and their BFF’s are great (hoping they get their story too). I received this book for a voluntary, completely honest and non incentivized review.
What a great fast paced romantic read. It was a quick read that was hard to put down. I enjoyed Alfie and Molly's story. They had great chemistry. It was well written with well developed and relatable characters. Overall a sweet, hopeful, heartfelt read. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book.
When something happens and Molly runs from her wedding day she decides to accept an offer from the best man, Alfie, and stay with him. Her life is in shambles. Alfie is so attracted to Molly but she is so off limits. I enjoyed their story as they both figured out what they wanted in life. Their connection was strong and their chemistry was off the charts! I enjoyed this one.
This runaway bride needed a place to hide and recoup after finding out that her ex-fiancé slept with a hooker the night before their wedding. Alfie knew the groom was no good, and offering his estate to Molly as a hiding was with no strings was his plan. However fate had other plans for these too.
Strong characters with depth. The billionaire had a rocky past that gave him mental scars. The girl that came into his life swept in with healing. The baggage of their past played a part on their relationship, but their solid relationship took them through it all. I enjoyed the book. The story was solid and the feelings jumped from the page. It's not only a sweet read but one I'll enjoy again.
Absolutely loved this book. Extremely entertaining, captivating and very interesting sexy read. Wonderfully written with strong characters. I want to read more from this author. I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Claire Adams delivers another amazing read with the Billionaire’s Runaway Bride. Great storyline; well developed characters, and just the right amount of twists and turns. HEA? You know it! Grab your copy today. (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and really enjoyed it.) ❤️
The story was nice, but the editing poor. There were spelling and grammar errors throughout that were distracting. I did not even want to read the bonus novels due to the errors.
Molly was suppose to marry Harry but had a bad feeling and was confirmed by her best friend on the morning of the wedding. Alfie was going to be the best man, but he wasn't happy. He helps Molly when she runs, but they help each other.
