This book is for children who are just learning to read. It is about an elephant who is making cookie batter. She adds flour, and sugar, and takes just a taste, and a taste more. Then whoops-no more batter! I can relate because I’d like to eat the entire bowl of batter when I make chocolate chip cookies so it gave me a little laugh, even with so few words.

We saw this on Read Between the Lions. It was short and simple. An Edna Elephant makes the batter for cookies, but she eats it all before it gets out of the bowl. Nice use of cooking words for early readers.
