After screwing up my life in the lower forty-eight, I take a chance on an old friend’s offer and head to Alaska for a fresh start.
A day in, I’m pitching a tent in the middle of nowhere.
I’ve been through plenty— being alone in the wilderness isn’t the scariest thing I’ve faced.
But um. These wolves who’ve hunted me down?
They’re kinda freaking me out.
They say I’m their remedy— their mate. That I can’t leave.
I thought what we shared was nothing but a romp in the woods.
Turns out I’m coming face-to-face with my destiny.

Dear Reader,

Get ready to show your fangs and take a bite, because baby, this trip to the woods is about to get dangerously sexy! Remedy is the heroine we want to root for—angsty, angry and ready to fight … she needs more than a man to break down her walls—she needs four of them. Get your hiking boots on ladies, and toss the map—you’re about to lose yourself in book two of the Daughters of Olympus series!

Their Mate is book two in the Daughters of Olympus series by Charlie Hart and Anastasia James. Charlie Hart is a pen name for Frankie Love.

Remedy has lived most of her twenty one years of life on the streets. She was in the foster care system and got moved from one home to another since no one could handle her volatile temper. At some point, she just gave up and took to the streets. She has learned to not trust anyone and that nothing good ever lasts. Her one friend from years ago was Sadie. Remedy gets an unexpected email from Sadie asking her to come to visit her in Alaska. That she found some belongings of hers. When Remedy arrives, she has visions of a hot shower, a real meal, and a warm place to sleep, none of which she has had in a very long time. But none of these things transpired. As usual, things for Remedy went way wrong and she found herself back out on her own, only this time she was in unfamiliar woods in Alaska.

“We’ve been waiting for you for a long time.”
“How long? How long have you been looking for me?”
“Would you believe me if I said forever?”

red haired woman with wolves

Callum, East and River are wolf shifters. These three knew that there was a special woman waiting for them, their fated mate. So, they have been saving themselves for her. As soon as they found Remedy in the woods, they knew she was the one. That she was theirs. Now came the hard part, convincing her of that.

“East grounds me, Callum ignites me, but River? He sees me.”

Remedy has known one thing for sure her entire life, that nothing good lasts. These three men are claiming that she is theirs but she knows it isn’t true. She can still allow herself this night, though. A night to experience something she has never had, a man’s loving arms around her. When she does try to leave, though, she discovers some shocking news and a reason to stay. Only not everyone in the forest wants her to be happy with her three men. Danger is waiting for Remedy and her three lovers.

I’m really enjoying this series. I couldn’t imagine how these two authors were going to tie these books together and I really liked the way they worked it out. I can’t wait to read the next book, Their Phoenix, to see what happens next.

“She’s bare and broken in so many ways but there is something great inside her. Something we all see.”

A shifter/demigoddess reverse harem romance. It’s pretty good. If you’re looking for smutty with a paranormal/mythical storyline. It’s just a fun little quickie series to follow.

Okay, so I did it. I dove into the second book and I'm a bit confused.

Their Mate is about Remedy who falls in love with some wolf shifters. She then turns into a wolf herself and magically becomes pregnant after losing her virginity. So within like 20 minutes.. she was pregnant. Interesting, but I will go with whatever I'm handed at this moment.

So the thing I'm confused about is.. do they all have the same mom? I'm going with that because they all seem to have different gods for fathers. They also all seem like psychotic assholes who want to put their daughters into prisons? Only to be put into that prison by their daughters...

I just want to meet this mom of theirs because I'm seeing a family RH trend.

What a fun read about a woman lost in her life, finding three men who will love her and protect her till the end. I thought that this was a good read and what I liked was that it is filled with action and sweetness with a bit of heat. I also liked that the world that is created is familiar to anyone who reads shifter stories, but different enough to be unique. This story is part of a five part series but you can read it as a standalone if you choose.

Remedy (awesome name) has been alone for her entire life, she has always had a temper and passion within her and that has made her life a bit more difficult. We meet her living on the streets of Seattle trying to figure out what her next step is. She finds herself in Alaska with an old friend and this is where she truly discovers herself. This story is filled with hot wolves, a cranky bear, a lost but strong woman, and some action. There were a few steamy scenes but noting that distracted from the overall story line.

While I enjoyed this story, I did feel like it was a bit simple and fast. I wanted more details and more time getting to know each of the characters. I also felt like Remedy, Callum, River, and East were a bit young. They came across as still in their youth, and if they are truly taking on the forces they come across, I wanted them to feel more like adults. I loved that they were ALL virgins and that the three men waited for their love. The story ends in a way where it feels complete but is set up for the next in the series; I had no issues reading this as a stand along. I received and ARC and am leaving an honest review.

This book follows one of Harlow's sisters (if you haven't already, read Their Siren first) if you want you can read my review of it right HERE

Remedy has had a tough life, but things seems to look up when she meet some wolf shifters. I do actually like this book, but I do feel that it's a bit rushed. At the end when Harlow shows up with her men it's really confusing. I mean you have 6 men. One of Remedy's men is named East - whereas one of Harlow's is named West. But then on top of that, East is the brother to River. I almost gave up then and there! I do suspect we'll see more similarities when we meet the other 2 sisters, but only time will tell.

I liked this book. My review for the last book was not so positive so I am happy to say that this installment was a lot better. Situations were explained more, there were more details in the scenes, and the character development was ten times better.
I liked Remedy. She has had a rough life and I felt bad for her. This book starts out with her living on the streets just trying to survive and that really struck a cord with me. Remedy didn't grow up with parents loving her like Harlow did and it was interesting to see such a contrast in the sisters. Remedy has had to fight for everything her whole life and I liked seeing her grow and learn to trust her boys. She has always been on her own her and I found her struggle with learning to rely on the boys very realistic.
I took stars away from this book for the boys' character development. While they weren't completely flat like Harlow's men, they were still completely one dimensional. I wish that Charlie Hart and Anastasia James would add more depth to their male characters. I think that it would make these installments a lot more interesting and more entertaining to read.
Overall, I did enjoy this book. The male characters' development was the only complaint I had with this book. I am happy that I gave this installment a chance. I will be reading the next installment, Their Phoenix and I hope I enjoy it as much as I did this one.

Received as an ARC for my honest review. I read the ARC when I first received it, but am having a hard time with writing my review. I was excited for the next book in the series because I enjoy books that are connected.
I think if Remedy has had that hard of a life insta love would not have worked so easily on her. I think she would have been more easily swayed by her father. I think I would have enjoyed more angst in this story.
When Harlow showed up with her men it got a bit confusing. Having six men and one named East for Remedy and one for Harlow named West. Then to have East be the brother to River. It was hard to follow during those last few chapters. I have some thoughts as to the naming of the guys, but will have to wait till the next book and see.
I enjoyed Their Siren more then Their Mate, but it was still enjoyable to read.

The second book in what is turning out to be a brilliant series, the concept of this series is fresh and I love how each book is about a different paranormal type, but they are all linked and, I guess can be read as a standalone, it makes more sense if read in order

Remedy has had a hard life that has left her angry and bitter, but deep inside she feels alone and scared. A chance phonecall changes her life, she meets three beautiful men, but they have their work cut out for the with Remedy

Full of action and excitement, so me beautiful steam and romance and twists and turns i found this to be a great read, and I love the links to the first book. I am anxious to read book three in the series

I received an ARC copy of this book.
Book 2 in the Daughters of Olympus series is just as fast paced as the first. I read this one in one sitting and I really enjoyed it. Their Mate follows a different Daughter of Olympus, Remedy, and her 3 mates Callum, River and East. Remedy has been through so much hardship and it was great to see her finally finding some happiness and peace in her life and accepting who she is. Her guys are really supportive and sweet. Harlow and her guys also make an appearance towards the end. In my opinion, while I did like Their Siren, Their Mate was just a little bit better. And spoiler.... thank god no one dies in this one. I can't wait to read book 3 and meet another Daughter of Olympus and her guys.

LOVING THIS SERIES

SPOILER ALERT : This is the second book in "Daughter of Olympus". And I cannot wait for book 3. They are full length, not cliffhangers, but you cannot help but want want to know each of the four daughters story. I am Sooo loving this twist in Greek Mythology.
So sad Remedy (love the name) had to go through 21 years of her life scrounging for anything and everything in life, but ohhh, the journey (to me) was so worth it, come on, Remedy becomes one kick ass wolf!! Gaining East, Calum & River in the process. Then meets her Siren sister, now both on that journey to find another long lost sister.....Honestly......I need the next book......now!!!!!

This book counts towards my RHR book bingo challenge: "Vampires or Shifters" Audible & kindle version.
This book's h was immature, contrary for the sake of being contrary, & overall unpleasant. I disliked the writing & the narrator.
Pet-peeve 4 (20+ y/o ) virgins
This was a tedious read.
1 star DNF @50%

This book was truly exhausting & too much of a hardship to continue. I felt like I was stuck in a 13 yo girl's head listening to her unnecessary attitude & immature self-destructive rational. Honestly, I spent the majority of my time plotting her murder... In detail. It was unhealthy & mood altering. I HATED her. So I deserve this nasty business behind me & I'm counting this bad trip of a book towards my challenge.
Rant over.

Book 2 of the Daughters of Olympus series was even better than the first! Remedy, love the name BTW, is super feisty, sassy, scrappy and alone. She has fought tooth and nail for every tiny thing she has ever had. She is definitely a powerful woman that makes this story come alive. Absolutley loved it and cannot wait for book 3!! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

I was so excited to read this book after reading the first book in the series. I was hooked with this one just as quickly with Their Mate. This series is so incredibly well written, raw with emotion and the character and plot depth is incredible. Remedy, East, Callum, and River made an incredible story, watching Rem come into her own power and strength, seeing she deserved her mates, watching them prove it to her was raw and beautiful. I love this author because she has a gift at being able to draw you in to the characters emotions and what they are going through. I can't wait for book three!

Wolf shifter, romance and more

I loved this one as much as their siren. I love that this one was wolves, wolf shifters are one of my favorites. She finally finds peace when she meets her mates, who in turn are her pack. She meets her sister Harlow and learns she serves a greater purpose in life. She no longer a feels alone and unloved. Going to start book 3 this afternoon. This series does not disappoint.

I really enjoyed this one. The characters were diamonds in the rough and wound up really getting to me. There was so much pain that it made the happiness found so much sweeter. It went by too fast, but really got me excited for the over arching storyline that wad significantly more revealed. There is still a bit to discover, however, and I can't wait for the next one!

Amazing

Her fire burns hotter than the sun... Remedy runs with the wolves and tames the land all in one day. Her temper may be hot but her soul is made for peace and to bring it to the land. Let you passionate flame burn and ignite the souls around you into finding their truth too!!

Shifter Love Here

I’m really getting into this series now. This one actually made me cry a little and I’m not a cryer.
If you want a small diversion from reality pick up the first book in this series and relax with this fun mix of romance and sci-fi. Then move on to this book. I’m headed for the next one now.

West to East

I can't get past the fact the East was called West first, then changed for the rest of the book into East. There were several little errors like this. It became so distracting that I couldn't get into the story.
