Cambria Hebert is a bestselling novelist of more than fifty titles. She went to college for a bachelor’s degree, couldn’t pick a major, and ended up with a degree in cosmetology. So rest assured her characters will always have good hair.
Besides writing, Cambria loves a pumpkin spice latte, staying up late, sleeping in, and watching K drama until her eyes won’t stay open. She considers math human torture and has an irrational fear of chickens (yes, chickens). You can often find her running on the treadmill (she’d rather be eating a donut), painting her toenails (because she bites her fingernails), or walking her chihuahuas (the real bosses of the house).
Cambria has written in many genres, including new adult, sports romance, male/male romance, sci-fi, thriller, suspense, contemporary romance, and young adult. Many of her titles have been translated into foreign languages and have been the recipients of multiple awards.

Awards Cambria has received include:

3 Stars!

I was looking forward to reading this and connecting with the gang again. It was nice. But it wasn't very satisfying. I have to be the only one who was disappointed in the end and the only one who has given it a rating of 3 stars. Everyone I've seen so far has given it 4-5 stars. Look, I am a fan of this series and I really do adore these characters. BUT, I thought some of the bonus scenes were rather lackluster. There were only a few I found to be worth reading. Then the biggest disappointment was there was no bonus scene's for Trent and Drew. They are in one scene. They don't have any page time but for like a second. WTF?!?! They're on the cover are they not? They are part of the family correct? I'm not gonna lie; I only wanted to read this so I could get more of those two men. To come away from this and getting nothing but some mediocre bonus scenes and none of them being of the men I adore really bummed me out. Disappointing.

Happy reading dolls! xx

3.8 Fam STARS

I really liked going back to this characters, the Hashtag series has a place in my heart, so this was fun and sweet. I do have to say though, that I expected stories from every couple´s POV, but I didn´t get Braeden and Ivy´s centric one or Trent and Drew´s, which if I´m being completely honest, was what I was waiting for since they 4 are my fave ones (I still love Romeo & Rimmel, but not so much as this 4). So that was a little disappointing.

From the 4 short bonus scenes, I have to say my favorite was the one that surrounded Rimmel and Ivy meeting for the first time in college. It was a great bonus that I didn´t know I needed. The other 3 don´t lack any charm that this series developed, there´s the comedy factor present and the family one, which I loved too. Plus getting to see present of all the characters, with the kids too!! That was so heart warming.

Overall, it was sweet to read this, but I wished I could have gotten more of the other charathers of this series.

The story has laughs, and love.

If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first
#Nerd (Hashtag, #1)
#Hater (Hashtag, #2)
#Player (Hashtag, #3)
#Selfie (Hashtag #4)
#Poser (Hashtag #5)
#Heart (Hashtag #6)
#Holiday (Hashtag #6.5)
#Bae (Hashtag, #7)
#Vacay (Hashtag #7.5)
#HookUp (Hashtag)

This is a collection of short stories about the family and some bonus material that was fun to read. You get Rimmel meeting Ivy for the first time. Drew and Trent get a mention but not much more. That was a little disappointing, but otherwise it was a cute set of little stories.

Yay, I love a catch up with the Hashtag characters, this was just some new scenes from several of the books, and one very new scene to show up how Rimmel and Romeo are handling life with babies. I wish this author would give us weekly updates, One of my favorite series, I can never get enough.

If I could get my hands on the paperback edition of this book, I definitely would. Since I was only able to get the kindle edition, I can't really say anything about the coloring book aspect of this, so I'm only going to talk about the four bonus scenes that we get here, two of which are exclusive to this book. Since these all take place within the #Hashtag world, they're all spoilery.

Scene 1 takes place the day Rimmel and Ivy first meet as roommates at the dorm at Alpha U. It was previously published in the #Nerd hardcover book. The standout here for me, after having read the entire series, is that Ivy points out that there's a makeup brand called Rimmel London. I knew about this kind of makeup and really like some of their products, but I guess I didn't realize it was called Rimmel London. Why does this matter? It doesn't. Except one of Romeo's and Rimmel's kids is named London, so I thought this was weird. 🤷

Basically, we just find out that top dog Romeo's a player and no one has ever held his attention enough for him to think about settling down. I think that it's nice that Hebert was trying to make us like Ivy from the beginning, but I still don't like her.

Scene 2 takes place right before the beginning of #Poser and is between Romeo and Rimmel. It was also previously published in the #Nerd hardcover book. This was basically Romeo bringing Rimmel to the house he rented for them when he goes off to the NFL. It was sweet, and of course, Romeo was swoony.
"I can't let you go, Rim. It's bad enough I have to leave, that I won't be able to see you every day. I won't be the first one to touch you in the morning or the last one to see you at night. I don't want you back at the dorms, in a place that's temporary, in a world that isn't ours. When I lie down at night, I want to know you're in our bed. In our house. I want you to be surrounded by me, even if I'm not physically here."

bunny swoon

Scene 3, which is brand new, takes place a month after Nova is born, and has Romeo and Braeden taking care of her alone for the first time ever. You can imagine that it's pretty funny and things get a little chaotic.

boss baby gif

I really liked this glimpse into them, though I didn't appreciate Ivy calling them "morons."

Scene 4 takes place in present day, after the end of both the #Hashtag series and its spinoff series, GearShark , which I still need to read. But it does take place before #Vacay . It's a sweet moment between Romeo and Rimmel talking about their new baby on the way and how much they love their lives. The kids being teenagers is alluded to, and I really wish Hebert would write those stories. I'd love to see little London giving her dad and uncles a run for their money!

All in all, this was a sweet blast to the past and I appreciate getting these extra scenes.

What a wonderful epilogue to a fantastic
series. This (I think) is a coloring book,
but I got it on my Kindle and it had 4 new
excerpts of the previous series. I LOVED
the one with Romeo and Rimmel in the
future. The NFL, nor the strains on life,
did anything to diminish the love these two
have for each other. I loved hearing about
their lives....and their KIDS!!!!
So happy to read this.

Timeline inconsistencies

I love both the hashtag and gearshark series and am completely interested in the characters. Overall I would say these bonus scenes are worth a read but there are some glaring timeline inconsistencies in bonus#3 with Braedon and Ivy that can make things confusing and that frankly really bug me. This takes place when Nova is 1 month old and it states that live in the compound, but in the first gearshark novel, when Nova is 6 months old, they still live the the first house that Romeo rented when he left for the NFL. Also Darcy the dog plays a role in these bonus scenes but in #Bae, Rimmel doesn't get Darcy until after her miscarriage.
If you can ignore those things and you're a fan of the series, you'll enjoy the read.

TBH... I changed my review from 4 to 3.

I was so happy to catch up with the gang, but I thought there would be more. 3 out of 4 of these scenes were from the past. I was hoping for more of the future for the gang. Plus, WHERE IS #TREWLOVE? I missed them the most, and we got nothing. I realise they're technically from the Gearshark series, but they're part of this family. Another thing... the full length books ran for $3.99, and this is 1.99. It didn't even take 20 minutes to read this. It's priced too high in comparison to the full length novels.

The bonus scenes in this book are a real treat. It was so lovely to be back with the family again, and Cambria Hebert didn't let me down. It was a perfect continuation of the gang's story (I don't want to say end because I secretly hope we'll get more bonus scenes in the future 😊😉- and when I say bonus scenes I really mean lengthy novels☺️).

Beautifully written and absolutely perfect in every way ❤️❤️❤️

Great novella

I loved all of the little added bonus chapters to the Hashtag series. Romeo and Rimmel as a couple and Rimmel and Ivy's friendship. Plus Braeden and Romeo's bromance and Braeden and Rimmel's bond. Plus the relationship between B and Ivy or as he calls her Blondie. It's a quick read that made me laugh and smile.

I really really would’ve loved a POV from Ivy, Braedan, Drew and Trent. Also, D and T got like barely one scene! They’re part of the family! I was so sad to not see them!! This wasn’t a book, just a couple extra scenes throughout this whole journey. It was nice but I didn’t like it was focused only on Rim and Rome

Love it!

I loved the extra scenes! I only wish their was a scene with London being born; Rome not getting the experience to hold his baby girl and us living it with them would have been cute.

Love this little snippet of random moments of my favorite peeps. Getting to see into their lives after the series is over is quite special to readers and something that not many authors do. I love each little snippet

I've missed them! I need more stories with my #hashtag family. This was a nice incite to moments that you knew happened, but not how and even some new ones that were great. A must read for everyone who loves these characters and their series.

I loved this little peak back into our favorite characters lives. The only thing that would have made it better would have been a bonus scene with Drew and Trent.
