Cami and Evan were high school sweethearts and he was her first. But Cami had a good voice and wanted to follow a career in music so after high school she left him and her home for Nashville. Poor Evan was heartbroken so he upped and joined the military and became a hero. After leaving the military he comes back home and is now the town's Mayor. Cami's musical career hasn't gone as well as she'd hoped so when her aunt dies and leaves her her candy shop in her will, Cami decides to do this. She wants to keep a low profile but on her very first day she literally bumps into Evan. he tries to be angry but really he is happy to see her once again as, deep down, she still causes a fluttering to his heart just as she feels for him. No spoilers from me here as Violet Paige can write far better than I could ever hope to aspire to, there fore you need to read this yourself. It is a sweet and passionate story of a second chance at a HEA with our hero, alpha male Evan who knows he will never really be happy without Cami as she has always held his heart in her hands. I was trapped on page one till the end as I wanted to see how these two lovers would get together and have their HEA which they so deserved. It was well worth my time reading this and I hope that you will enjoy it too. I received an arc of this book and voluntarily leave my honest review of it here.

Cami has moved back to her hometown after her singing career did not pan out, she is going to take over her Aunts Candy shop that was left to her.
Trying to avoid most of the townspeople for the moment, especially her ex, Evan whose now the Mayor, she only makes it one day before running into him well falling into him really...
These two did not end their relationship on good terms, and are already proving the hurt is still there, but so is the spark.
As much as Evan wants to ignore the women who walked out of his life and the town all those years ago, he may not be able to fight his heart..
What a sweet and sassy, fast moving, small town second chance Holiday romance with a side naughty!
A well-written storyline with its meddling townspeople, maddening blunders, and sweetened recoveries with little bits of wittiness and some fan your face worthy scenes to give that Mayor some Alpha'd up edge!
As much as I liked all these characters, in the end, Evan took a little while to grow on me; I felt like he needed to get over himself, ha! ( damn those fictional characters anyway! ) Regardless, this book is a saucy fun Holiday treat I thoroughly enjoyed!

Sweet Satisfaction by Violet Paige is a good read. This emotional second chance romance tells the story of Cami and Evan. Their high school romance ended badly when she left for Nashville to pursue a music career, abandoning Evan and breaking his heart. Now, her return to town brings them back together and stirs up old feelings. Can these two get over the past and get their HEA? Grab a copy of this entertaining and engaging read to find out. I am posting an honest review after reading an ARC copy of this book.

Well written story with a nice storyline and plot. I like that the characters and how they develop.
A passionate and emotional read with twists. Very fast paced and rushed and the ending was bit confusing for me at first. Why fight for a thing and then run away? But I can only recommend this book. A hot and recommendable read.
It is written in dual POV which gives the reader much more of the thoughts and feelings of the main characters.
There are passion, hot scenes and lots of chemistry in this amazing story.

They had a relationship. She left to pursue a singing career and broke his heart. He moved on and became mayor. It took him a long time to get it together again. Years later her career goes kaput and her aunt dies so she comes home. Well they keep running into each other. Can these two get it right or can she finally appreciate what she has? This is a sweet, emotional, enjoyable story that I highly recommend reading. I was given a review copy and voluntarily review it.

Cute story but many grammatical errors
I liked the story. It was a cute quick read, but the numerous grammatical errors were frustrating. This needed much better editing. Often words were missing or the wrong pronoun was used or the contraction was missing (would instead of wouldn’t). In some chapters the store is called “The Sweet Spot” and in others it is “The Sweet Treat”. If you can look past this, then it is a decent story.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Camill and Evan were together through school they had plans, then one day after school Camill just upped and left and went to Nashville has she has always wanted a music career. Evan was devastated so joined the army. Now she's back to run granny's shop. Absolutely loved this book a few teary moments well worth a read

It wasn't very believable because the relationship was so rushed. Also, the end was disappointing, The sex was hot and there was lots of it so ,that was good lol. Not bad for a little Christmas cheer.

This is a heartwarming second chance, holiday romance. The H/h were sweethearts but one chose a career and when they are both back in town they reconnect but will it work out the second time around? This is a sweet romance and I liked it. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review.

Sweet Satisfaction!
I really enjoyed Cami and Evan's story. She wanted to follow her dreams so she left town after breaking Evans heart. But Christmas is a magical Tim of year. They were able to rekindle their romance and find their HEA.

Cami and Evan her high school sweethearts but she decided to leave for her music career. Now she is back and the chemistry they shared in high school is still there. Will Evan be able to forget that she left him once before? Great chemistry and an entertaining story. I liked it.
