I used to be Veronica; an innocent kid, a daughter, the girl who lived in the darkness.
Then I saw the Sun, learned how to laugh and shared chocolate under the firework covered sky. I was Nikki then; an innocent girl who smiled at only one person, a girl with hopes and dreams.
Then, I lost everything. First, God left me, and I lost my faith. My innocence followed. Finally, my hopes and dreams went missing along with my smile.
Now, I'm Sage; a strong woman who wears her pain and loss like an armor. I’ve suffered through the seductive sway of my hips and sensual beats of the music.
And he came back, bringing the Sun with him. But this time, he hasn’t come to light up my world, this time he’s come to eclipse it.
Abby Gale is an international author. She is an avid reader, former blogger, and a pharmacist. She writes whatever storyline sucks her in, but mostly her books will be erotica with some darkness in it.
That prologue... OMFG! My attention was instantaneous, jaw dropped and ready for more. I’ve read the two previous books in this series and I’ve been dying to hear Sage, she was always a bit of a mystery and after reading her story now it all makes perfect sense as to why. We’re given a dark twisted romance that will keep you on the edge looking for what’s to come next. We’re brought back to the past throughout the story with both Sage and her mother as well as Nick, I feel that it makes the storyline that much stronger you’re able to relate and understand Sage more then before. Her mother, I can’t even formulate words for how I feel about her. There are scenes that I’m brought to tears for and others that leave goosebumps, I loved every second from beginning until the very end. Highly recommend reading Sage’s story as well as the previous girls too, I feel they can be read as standalones but would be better reading in order. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.
Abby Gale is such a amazing author and she has done it again with Sage. If you have read Violet then you had to wonder about Sage as I did. Reading her story almost broke my heart. The things that Sage went through would break just about anyone but not Sage. Nick is just trying to do the best he can with the secrets he has. But how can they get back to where they need to and can be? Do not miss this story.
DISCLAIMER: I REQUESTED AN RECEIVED AN ADVANCE READER'S COPY OF THIS BOOK, THROUGH THE AUTHOR AND ENTICING JOURNEY BOOK PROMOTIONS. THIS IS MY HONEST, VOLUNTARY REVIEW.
If you thought ANGEL got to you, you thought wrong. SAGE will blow you away with heartache, the tragedy, and the emotion. When Sage is a younger girl, my heart was ripped from my chest. Most of Abby Gale's books have had this effect on me. I loved it so much. I could not put it down. My heart is still aching from this book. Wow. Grab it, because you will not regret it.
Once again Abby Gale brings some darkness and a smidge of light. This is an intensely raw story that takes us on another journey to Club Nymph. I've enjoyed the first two books and this is no different. This author knows how to pull you into her imaginary world allowing you to experience every emotion along with her characters.
If you like your stories dark, raw, and downright sinful, then you need to read this series. Abby brings it in this one, and I'm needing more!
This book!!! It is everything and more. It was long anticipated and well worth the wait. Sage's story is not a happy one but she is proof that it doesn't matter how you start, but how you choose to end. This story moved me and brought me to tears, it is a story of inner strength, of the power to rise above the circumstances you're forced to love with. Abby has such a beautiful way of drawing you right in there and making you wish you didn't have to leave. One of my five-stars reads of all time.
This book was just as good as the first 2 in the series. It was just as dark, twisted, cringe worthy, upsetting, page turning and beautiful as the first 2 books. I could not put it down until I was finished. Can two tortured, tormented souls find happiness? Abby does it yet again with another outstanding read. No cliffhangers with a hea.
I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
"Once upon a time, I was too bright for you. Now, I'm just as dark." There is a warning about triggers at the beginning of the book. Don't take that warning lightly. I have no triggers, but the warning intrigued me. I've read some dark stuff and this.. what happened to her in her past was beyond messed up. It made me cringe. I hurt for her. Despite the cringe worthy moments, this book was an easy, quick read and I really enjoyed it. It was also a first for me by Abby Gale. I'm definitely planning on going back and reading the first two Club Nymph books!!
First, Violet brightened the darkness. Then, Angel fought the Devil and now, Abby gives us...
Sage.
Sinfulness—Agony—Garnering—Expiation...
Can a flower grow in the dark? How much can a soul bare when your gods are Evil and your angel abandoned you?
When Abby Gale says this book isn’t pretty, she’s trying to warn you that the journey will be a walk amongst Monsters that hides, not under the bed, or in the closet, but behind the most unsuspected mask; Masks hiding the ugliest souls no human being—even less an innocent one— should ever encounter in a lifetime.
Now... What the warnings doesn’t tell you is how much Abby will feed your soul in so many ways—even in the deepest darkness—Heaven and Hell crossing over and creating a new purgatory.
The epiphany is not always a magnificent and glorious Paradis; sometimes, its just a ray of sunshine brightening a spot in a greyish garden. Sometimes, it’s a part of your soul that was saved by memories only.
Because even the ugliness can be beautiful. How? It’s all about how the story unfolds- is revealed to you. Honestly, I was left both speechless and breathless. I wasn’t expecting anything like this. Yet, the only word that pops in my mind when I think of this journey Abby takes us through is Perfectness. I don’t care what you like normally; A rapid steamy pace or rather a slow burn... there’s strictly no way to be indifferent in how Sage will tie you up to her story. I, personally, fell so hard and instantly for Sage, I wouldn’t have changed a single thing in it. On everything. There’s power in a broken soul and Abby shows us how much it can impact you, in so many ways.
Sage is the epitome of completeness. Abby Gale has proven how much of an epically author she is. I’ve said this after Angel, she’s got a way to make us understand and feel even the most difficult psychological and emotional aspects, in a way that you don’t feel the characters, you reach their souls. Can a book have a soul? I believe this one has. Its in the details, in their thoughts, in the way they not only hurt but how they survived, that you feel it. That it reaches yours. She has this way to have them reflect on us. To make us feel deeply enough that we dont fear the shadow lurking in the dark alley in the middle of the night. But we gets the cold chills from the perfect masked face in a bright shiny room. The connection is unmistakable.
Sage might not be a pretty book, as she says. But who wants pretty when you can perfectness?
Abby, I’m stunned, completely unraveled by this book, yet, I’d take this journey again with you anytime, anyway. You shook my world, my heart, my soul and I want to be you when I grow up....
I would have taken more. More of the most beautiful thing that was born in the most nastiest conditions. Them.

Raw and unapologetically heartbreaking, Sage's story is one of survival and endurance. With such heartfelt emotion and dark descriptions, Abby Gale will have you teetering between the worlds of love and hate, determined to see which one earns their happy ever after.
Sage's story is a dark twisted read that captivated me just like the first two books did. I couldn't put this book down until the very last word. It is an emotional read and really took me on a quite a ride. This author writes the best dark, twisted, emotional books with strong characters that do whatever it takes to survive the mess thrown at them. Sage is a definite 5-star must read and I recommend this series to anyone looking for a great series to read. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
I was craving Sage's story after reading Violet and knew that she hard a dark past that she keep concealed. The twist and turns that kept me on the edge of my seat...this book is a dark seductive page turner. The way that Abby Gale writes the story helps the reader to understand Sage better...we get past and present. My emotions were all over the place. I couldn't put this down!
I love this series and the way that Abby Gale has written each book to perfectly capture each girl! This can be read as a standalone but I would definitely suggest reading them in order. Another stellar book in the Club Nymph series.
This book is not for the faint at heart but then again this author does enjoy stretching me. This is not a sunshine and roses type of book. Awful things were done to this child in a twisted and horrible way. People she should have trusted to keep her safe from harm turned on her all except Nick. He hasn't had it easy either. He did it for her. Waited until he could prove it. They say absence makes the heart go fonder. Well I guess these two can answer that.
Great story. Yes it is a difficult read but beautifully written. Yes this author enjoys taking us on an emotional voyage with her characters. If you can make it thru this without feeling something for these two you are a beast. I love this authors way of creating and sharing. It's always an adventure worth exploring.
This is the third book in this series, and is Sage’s story, and what a story it is!! Sage was a mysterious character in previous stories, and as this story unfolds we get to understand why that is. This is a phenomenal story, which is well written, dark, twisted, emotional, heartbreaking, raw, gritty, and powerful, all of which had me on tenterhooks throughout. Hats off to this talented author for the depth which she gives her characters, and they way in which she gives her heart and soul into her writing!
The third standalone book in the Club Nymph series by Abby Gales.
Let me tell you, this story was truly heartbreaking for me to read but well worth it in the end. Although I felt like it was to short for my liking, yet covered all the main points about Sage’s story well, I wanted it to be longer and not end. Throughout the book I seriously wanted to do “bodily damage” to everyone that hurt her.
The heartbreak that she suffers and how she manages to deal it with it, is amazing and courageous. And then there’s Nick and everything he’s been through. *Be still my beating heart* That young love that they had and not giving up on each other, had me Slayed and yet again had me all in my feels with the club nymph books. I loved how things came around in the end and how Sage took back control of her life.
Sage is the third book of the Club Nymph series, and she appeared in Violet, but her story is finally here. I felt Veronica's pain throughout her childhood - the flashbacks to her overzealous, cruel mother, the sad events that brought her to today - all of that served to make Sage the sexy, phenomenally strong woman she is today, but not without sacrifice. I loved this story - it brought out so much emotions and anguish! A fantastic addition to this amazing series! I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
I really really really enjoyed the 3rd installment of Club Nymph! this had such an intriguing and unique storyline! getting to know Sage was incredible! there were so many times that I wanted to jump in and save her, but it is a book... Kevin was creepy but he's much better now! you just have to one-click this book today! it seriously is a "pulling yourself out of hell" book. I loved this story! and you will too!
If you haven’t read the other books in this series then I recommend that you do. This book was brutally heartbreaking, it covers some dark themes. So please be warned.
From the moment I started this series, I couldn’t put it down. You will fall in love with these characters from the moment you meet them. When you meet sage you know she was a story to tell.
Her story will make you want to go on a murder rampage and hurt the people who hurt her. No person deserves to be put through the things she has been put through. This book was a roller coaster ride of emotions, it takes you on all the highs and lows.
We are brought back to sage’s past throughout the story. We are introduced to her mother who I absolutely dispised, no words could comprehend how much I hated her. We are brought back to the past where we meet nick and the part he played in safe life. Their were scenes that brought me to tears. They were heartbreaking and you can’t help but feel for these two characters.
Nick is back after all these years, secrets will be exposed.
I wish the ending we saw a bit more about them. But overall I loved this and everything that happened.
This is my second read by this author and I want to continue. Veronica "Nikki" Sage was a wonderful character. I felt so much. I wanted to know how her past affected he future. I wanted to know how Nick, her childhood love, played a role in her past. This book has a few triggers. So readers need to be warned. If you aren't a dark reader, heed the warning because dark will be had. Sage's life isn't sweet and a complete fairy tale. The reader will know from chapter one that this will push them to the limit. If you are a dark reader, the scale of dark isn't extremely high. It could have gone darker.
The story had so many dark edges but I still able to read. I wanted to know what the ending would look like and it was done perfectly. If you read books one and two in the Club Nymph series, take the leap and complete it with Sage.
3.5 STARS! Club Nymph or should I say the new and improved “Man’s World” really has a crazy cast of characters working there and this is Sage’s story. You seem to always get a sense that Sage has been through hell and back and in this book we find out those things that made her the woman she is. Sage is a strong kick a** woman who was raised by a crazy and over religious mother, she suffered unspeakable abuse and pulled herself from the ashes and overcame what life threw at her and I’m glad that she didn’t let life’s tragedies jade her so that when a blessing from her past resurfaces she's able to grab onto it with both hands and hold on tight. This story definitely touches on subject matter that may bother some people so be warned.
Abby Gale this book is brilliant. I am telling you that if you have read any of Abby Gale's other books this one will quickly become your favorite. Sage is a beautiful story and I couldn't ask for anything better. This is magically brilliant writing on so many levels. This book hits your heart and repeatedly asks for more. The story is a bit dark and hard to take at times but Sage was so worthy of this story line and her character will make you fall in love with this series alone. This book is incredible. I would gladly recommend this to anyone. Be prepared to fall for Abby Gale's books and fall hard. This book is brilliant.
Oh, how I was intrigued by this book. Sage. That poor girl. Nick. Trapped in paying the sins of the past yet on a mission. It was going fantastic until it wasn't. It seemed to be rushed to get a conclusion when they finally reconnected. There was so much potential to be more. With all the building of the past I was frustrated that the present times and the future (and Nicks reason for coming back) would have been expanded more. For that reason I didn't completely connect with this story. I still look forward to future works from this author.
