It seems Deron and Nick both have some secrets lingering around. Allyson irked me to no end especially once I realized her crazy ass lied about a lot. She wasn't in a position to question or demand anything knowing what she was hiding. I can't say for sure if I really like Nariah or not just yet. I agreed with the fact she knew her worth and what she deserved but some things I didn't agree with it. It's crazy how she expected so much in six weeks. The relationship started out with a bunch of lies but it was as if she turned a blind eye because she needed help. Deron knew the position she'd found herself in and I truly believed he played on it. I don't know why I feel like Nick is plotting and eventually it'll backfire. This love so far is definitely tarnished and only time, as well as the truth will truly tell.

Deron and Nariah: A Tarnished Tale Of Love by Shay Renee is a excellent read. This is my first time reading from this author. She does a good job. I enjoyed reading about her introduction for this book. I love the concept and vibe.
Nariah is a intelligent and ambitious person. She has a good heart but she’s annoying at the same time. She should focus on her and continue to working on her career as fashion instead of dealing with wrong men. Deron is a con-artist and doesn’t know how to treating women right. Allyson is a messy.
I can’t wait to read part 2 of this book. I’ll definitely continue to support and read more from this author.

Shay Renee great job with this book. I was drawn in immediately after reading the prologue. Deron is something else. He wants to have his cake and eat it too. I was shocked to learn that Allyson was married and the connection between Nick and Nariah. I'm curious to know how long have they been messing around and is Nick responsible for sabotaging Deron's business dealings with Troy. Why was Ariel knocking on Nick hotel room door🤔. How will things end in part 2. So many questions..

Lies,Lies and more Lies. Deron just couldn't get it together. He wanted to live the bachelor life but with a girlfriend. I don't understand why he treated Nariah the way he did. But she was no angel cuz she was doing her dirt. They needed to just walk away from their relationship. I can't stand Allyson she's married and still being a stalker. She got issues. I can't wait to see what more drama unfolds in pt.2

Deron was a total and absolute mess. That boy didn’t know the first thing about love or loyalty. I don’t blame Nariah if she walks away from him. He doesn’t deserve her. Plus he got her fired from her job.... No Loyalty all the way around
This read is confusing and not fleshed out. Everyone is living a lie so it’s hard to root or invest in anyone. Author showed everything Deron was about from the beginning, so rooting for him and Norah was dead. Even after everything Nariah went through her actions came out of nowhere. Allyson was territorial for no reason considering her situation

It was so much going on. Was Deron ever faithful. Nariah and Nick wow. That was a shocker. Nariah needs to leave Deron alone obviously he still loves Allyson. He is all the way wrong. He abusive on top of that. Ready for part 2

At first I felt bad for Nariah but all that changed towards the end she's no better than Deron. Allyson needs to get her life in order she's constantly chasing someone when she has a husband at home and all I can do smh at Nick

Darion is a dog point blank. I'm so mad at how he's doing Nariah. He claims he's done with Allyson but apparently he's not. It's going to really hit the fan when her husband finds out.

For a first-time author this is a well written story with plenty of drama, twist and turns. I definitely enjoyed this story and the characters are likeable, believable and crazy. Fro. Th crazy ex to the sneaky brother there are so many secrets. Can't wait to see what happens next .

Good entertaining read had me hooked from beginning to end. Lots of lies and deceit going on in this book. Deron was something else but the relationship between Nick and Nariah is what really surprised me. Góod job Shay Renee can't wait to start part 2.
