4.5 Stars Guarding Cora is a Delta Force Defenders book about Liam and Cora. These two characters so desperately want to be together but their own stupid pride gets in the way repeatedly until an outside threat forces them together. I LOVE that Cora is not a girly girl who needs saving or protecting. In the end, she is just as kick-ass as these Delta Force guys. The bad guys are real and the threat to stay alive forces them to confess not only their feelings but their secrets too. Loved the interaction between the two lead characters, but also all the other teammates we get to meet! Now I can't wait to read other books by Jen to continue meeting these men.
Well written story with nice storyline and plot. The characters are well described and develops nicely through the story. They have had a relationship that ended because of he could not tell her his secrets. Now he has to protect her and their feelings floats to the top and are there again. Can they get through the lack of communication and trust issues? Are their feelings strong enough? A story with protection, possessiveness, drama, action, love, passion, chemistry, trust issues, heartbreak, strong characters, emotional rollercoaster and twists that I did not expect. I can only recommend it if you are into romances with a bit drama.
A lot of things happens in this including a great love story. A couple that Brooke up because of lack of trust and then forced together by an evil mans action. I can’t wait for the next one in this series.
The characters are good and some of the story line was really good, but I had problems with the basic premise that a Delta Force alpha would keep his sister a secret from his lady love and would act like a wimp in the first few chapters over the supposed love of his life. It does have a happy ending.
Liam and Cora dated for quite awhile but she couldn't handle his secrets anymore. Liam felt guilty and that is why he couldn't share but Cora's life is in danger. Maybe it is time to share.
