Nothing to say but this is the most useless book ever. Adds nothing and it only wasted my time. It was just a set up for a new series because it ends with a daughter of one of the women was in accident. So it was a super short book with a cliffhanger. Am I interested in the next book? NOPE
LOVED! Of course I am the queen of epilogue love so this was a jackpot find. just like visiting old friends. The ladies decide to take a week away from their intense husbands and family life just to unwind a bit. Don't worry, we see Liam and Harrison and Jimmy in all their glory as they send their wives off to paradise. We get updates on everyone from the Beaumont world with alternating POV from the ladies.
You will need to have read the Beaumont Series first before you grab this one. Great set up to the next generation books that are coming soon! Can't wait for those as well!!

I had just finished reading a book and was wondering what to read next when my email alert went off, and my decision was made. Forever Our Boys was on my kindle and waiting to be read and who can resist picking up a Beaumont Series book once it's there. Forever Our Boys is told in alternating points of view from Jenna, Katelyn, and Josie, as they finally get their much deserved peace and quiet away from the children, the boys, and enjoy a girls only holiday.
I loved getting to catch up with everybody before the girls go on holiday. We get to see what all of the adults and children are up to now, as well as needing a few tissues to dry the tears. The children are no longer babies, with teenagers aplenty and strong willed 'not so little ones' it was nice to see what they are all up to now, with a few surprises over their choices, as well as seeing how the little ones have grown and taken after.
Forever Our Boys is a quick read, but it fits in perfectly between books and means you can dive into the next book, Holding Onto Forever, that much more faster. I LOVED seeing the girls on holiday, and how they are able to open up more with each other, without the distance of home life between them, as well as revealing some parts of their past and their feelings that were never shared.
I honestly loved everything about this book (except the cliffhanger) and even though it was a quick read, there is enough of everything within the pages to get us up to date and fill in the gaps. I have forgotten how much I love this world of Beaumont, and I really need to make the time to dive back in for a whole series re-read as soon as I get physical copies of the book for my shelf.
Final Verdict Forever Our Boys is a must read for fans of Beaumont, but make sure you have Holding Onto Forever ready and waiting to be read...the few days wait between books almost killed me, please don't let that be you.

Heidi McLaughlin gives readers a fabulous treat as the ladies of Beaumont get together for a much needed girls' getaway in Forever Our Boys. And oh how I've missed the Beaumont crew! It is important to note that this story is not a standalone and the rest of the series must be read prior as many past events are referenced throughout. Sure, McLaughlin writes it so newbies can jump in but the story will not be enjoyed nearly as much without having the backstory on all of the characters.
In Forever Our Boys, the characters have all aged and we get to catch up on what they are doing now. It's told from three different points of view: Josie, Katelyn and Jenna and each lady fills readers in on events that have happened since we last left them. There are sexy times with their respective rockstar hotties before they leave and female bonding time while on vacation. Readers will be giddy as McLaughlin sets the stage for her upcoming spinoff series featuring the children of our beloved rockstars. The story ends in a cliffhanger and readers will have to wait for Holding On to Forever (The Beaumont Series: Next Generation #1) to be released in early October to find out what happens. I can't wait to dive into the next generation series especially with the setup McLaughlin has written in this book.
Forever Our Boys was like coming home after a long trip away.....an exciting and comfortable reunion with our beloved Beaumont family that is perfectly executed. It is the perfect novella to catch readers up and give them a taste of what's to come. I, for one, cannot wait!
Simply beautiful. This is what I like - light, all pure love and happiness. It’s with great joy to know that their love is to last a lifetime and still swoony hot. I loved their intertwined families. But you’ll be surprise with the ending, making me jump immdiately to the next novel.
“One week without this and I will die,” he says in his British accent that can easily bring me to my knees.” - JD
“I love you,” he tells me. This isn’t out of the blue or some random act of love. He tells me every day as soon as he sees me. It’s not “good morning” or “here’s your coffee.” The first words he speaks are about love, and each morning, I fall more in love with him.” - Harrison
“You’re killing me, woman.” “You love me,” I remind him. He rests his head on my pillow and pushes my hair away from my face. “I love you more than words can express, Josie. You’re my life. You, Noah, and Betty Paige… I am nothing without you.” - Liam

My love of Heidi McLaughlin and her books started with Forever My Girl and on it went and I fell for every single Beaumont Boy there is. I was so excited to hear she was coming out with more from my favorite men and their kick ass families. And if you haven't read this series then you are missing out.
Life has moved on in Beaumont, and Josie, Katelyn and Jenna go away for a girls weekend and catch up on each overs lives
I loved this book and loved catch up with my favorite group of characters. The drama, the angst and of course the laughter and good times. I cried some and I laughed, most of all I loved everything about this book. Heidi McLaughlin definitely got a way with words and a way with getting me to keep coming back for more. Can't wait for Holding Onto Forever. If you haven't read this series, get to it!! You won't be disappointed.
So this series is one that I have really enjoyed and getting this novella, Forever Our Boys, well that just made this book whore very happy. It almost had a feeling of coming home, if that makes sense. I really want to do a reread of the entire series now because of this and because of the upcoming spin-off series that I am really excited about as well. If you haven’t read the previous books please do so or you may not feel the full effect that this book delivers. I loved the premise, that we get to see more into the couple’s lives, and that the women are doing some bonding time that is always much needed when busy schedules and distance makes things hard at times. I think fans of this series will be pleasantly surprised and enjoy it very much!
Forever Our Boys is a wonderful way to catch up with the Beaumont crew and see just how close Josie, Katelyn and Jenna have remained despite the miles that separate them.
Heidi McLaughlin wrote a very sweet and touching journey as the girls find themselves on a retreat in the Bahamas at the insistence of their wildly hot husbands and their wonderful children.
Fears are brought to the surface along with long-held secrets as they bond even more than they thought possible. A great segue-way for the forthcoming story about Noah Westbury and the other siblings of 4225 West: Holding Onto Forever.
A welcomed revisit with a cast of characters I have loved from the start, I give Forever Our Boys a solid 5 stars!
Josie, Katelyn and Jenna take a much needed vacation together to the Bahamas. They all lament on how much they miss their men when they are on the road and away from home doing their tours. Katelyn is the only one able to go along with the band, so she doesn't quite get where Josie and Jenna are coming from. The book begins with all three reflecting on their pasts with their men. We then find them on vacation and enjoying all of the sights and activities their men booked for them. The book does end on a cliffhanger so beware of that. It was a nice glimpse at their current lives and sets up Noah's book.
Forever Our Boys is a novella that follows the three leading ladies in the Forever My Girl series by Heidi McLaughlin on a much needed vacation. It’s been years since we last were with them so ALOT has happened. The kids are grown and the band is still working hard. The girls are close as ever and finally have a moment to reconnect and talk about things that have been on their mind.
What I was not prepared for is how this is also a lead up into a spin-off for Heidi’s next amazingness - The Beaumont Series, The Next Generation. And boy did she ever start that off with a BANG!
For fans of the Forever My Girl series this novella is a perfect catch up with Josie, Katlynn, Jenna and their crazy crew. It’s also going to have you sprinting to pre-order the first book in the new series called Holding onto Forever. That you can pre-order right now. Which you are most definitely going to want to do. Trust me!
Man...have I missed the Beaumont crew! The Beaumont series is one of my all time favorites, and it was fun to catch up with the wives and see where everyone is at this stage in life. This is a very short read, that will only make sense to those familiar with the families of 4225 West. While it was fun to "catch up", what this novella sets up with the kids makes me excited about this series all over again!
If I could right now I would High Five Heidi McLaughlin, What a great gift she gave us fans. This book was so amazing. It's focus was on Katelyn, Jenna and Josie. You know what's it like to be the wives of the band. It had a lot funny moments. BUT then Heidi very skillfully drops one hell of a bomb.....Simply fantastic
I loved this book! After reading the Beaumont series a few times it was great to learn about what's happening in the lives of Liam and Josie, Harrison and Katelyn, and Jimmy and Jenna over the years. It's a great setup for the books about their kids and I can't wait to read more!
This was a cute short story about the wives of the band. Josie, Katelyn, and Jenna all meet up for a week vacation to renew their friendship. The women were glad to see each other but secretly missed their family. The ladies had to end the vacation short due to one of the kids getting hurt. Good story.
I liked this one, liked how we got to see all the couples still going strong. I also really liked how the husbands made the wives go on the trip to relax. It was fun to see the girls just being together. I did get annoyed with how strangers encroached on their time while watching the game. Their bodyguard should have been there to get people away.
This was the first book that I have read from this author and I enjoyed it. I will have to go back and hunt up the other books in the series and read them also.
If you look at shelf titles you'll see that I claim this book ends on a cliff. What I mean by that is this book is a nice little tie-in in bringing the Beaumont series into the Beaumont Next Generation series. We get this vacation from the ladies which ends up being more of an informational kind of a read where we see where everyone landed, by my guesstimation about 12 to 14 years later. I spent a good part of the book trying to figure out exactly how much later this book takes place from my kind of forever and I couldn't quite put my finger on it exactly. I really liked having this all in the woman's point of views and seeing where life has taken them. There are some moments where I wished I could have gotten more history about how they ended up where they ended up but overall this book is a phenomenal tie-in to jump us into the Beaumont Next Generation and I cannot absolutely wait to see where all these kids are going to take us. It's short, quick, sexy, sweet and will make you want to jump into the next book immediately.
Oh my goodness!!! It was so nice seeing the Beaumont gang back together again!
This was a perfect short and sweet catch up! I love that each chapter was in different POVs of the girls. They each told more of their story to not only the readers, but also to one another.
It felt like getting back together with old friends and talking about the good times, and expressing the feelings that have been building up over time.
You get to know their kids again as they have all grown up. Made me a little emotional thinking of how far they have all come!
This was the perfect set up for the next generation of Beaumont love stories! I'm so ready for the next chapter of these characters that I have grown to love as friends of my heart!
Couldn't update the few books I read because Hurricane Maria (9/20/17) destroyed our Power Grid, we didn't have power and all telecommunications were down. I'm enjoying the WIFI at home again after 5 months. So bear with me
I love that the girls got their own book. Their kids are growing up. Josie is still living and Beaumont and doesn't get to see Katelyn and Jenna much anymore, so they are taking a well needed vacation to regroup and see each other again. Each of them has a point of view in this book and you still see the love the boys show them throughout this series. It makes me believe in happily ever afters. These three couples have something so precious and it is shown throughout this whole series. Jenna and Jimmy seem to have it all and what is amazing, they aren't even married. They act it, they show it, but they still don't need that paper and that is simply amazing. Now they do have something going on in their lives that is stressing them a bit, but that is what the girls are for to talk and make sense of what is happening. Katelyn and Harrison. I love these two. Their life is so full and their family is so amazing. How the blended is absolutely perfect. You would never know that they have never been a family forever. Katelyn still misses Mason everyday and an anniversary of theirs is coming up so this trip couldn't have come at a better time. She needs her girls and she shall have them. Liam and Josie. They have a lot going on with Paige and Noah. Noah is a football star now and Paige is growing up so much. Josie is missing her girls and throwing out moving to Cali. Liam and Josie have been through so much that this time is going to be needed to find out if she is ready to finally leave Beaumont.
This book is just Novella but there is a lot that goes on in the story. You get to learn about the kids growing up. How close they still are and what difficulties they are having. It's like having them with you all along. You will see guys hit on the girls. You will see the girls handle themselves, but the most you will see is these woman being the wives and mothers that you knew they would be. With that being said......It ends in a cliff hanger and you will have to get ready for the next book. It had my heart racing at the end and Heidi....I am very angry that I have to wait.
I loved this book. Seeing the woman and what they have become was a great story in itself. I can't wait for the next book and hope to read it really soon or I think I might cry. I have loved this series all the way through and I will see this series all the way through.

•••••••••
REVIEW: FOREVER OUR BOYS (Beaumont 5.5) by Heidi McLaughlin follows the ladies (Josie, Katelyn, and Jenna) as they embark on a week long getaway to the Bahamas, far from the paparazzi, and the glitz and glamor as wives and significant others of rock and roll stars. Although FOREVER OUR BOYS can be read as a stand alone I recommend reading the series in order for backstory and cohesion, as well as familiarity with the story line couples.
Told from three first person points of view (Josie, Katelyn and Jenna) FOREVER OUR BOYS is a reflective journey that focuses on memories of the past; regrets and revelations; friendship, family and love. The children are growing up; making names for themselves; success on the playing field, in front of the camera, in the music halls, theatres and the stage. We are up close and personal as three strong female leads find comfort with their lifelong friendships, as they reminisce about the past, and set off towards the future.
Heidi McLaughlin sets the stage for HOLDING ONTO FOREVER: The Beaumont Series: Next Generation- a spin off series that will focus on the children of the stars of the rock band 4225 West. The premise is heartwarming and informative; the characters are familiar, sassy and fun; the romances are provocative and sensual. FOREVER OUR BOYS ends on a cliffhanger-you have been warned.
This super little addition to The Beaumont Series was everything I hoped it would be. And while the story effectively concentrates on the women that share the lives of each of the three guys in the band, that didn’t mean that the guys were willing to stay totally out of the picture because if truth be known, these guys quite simply seem to refuse to stay in the background for any reason. Of course, they wanted their women to relax and enjoy themselves but with these couples, spending time apart isn’t exactly their favourite thing to do. I love each and every one of these characters, they all brought their own flair and personality to the page and they reminded me just what I had been missing (I need to spend some time devouring the entire Beaumont Series, all over again) I think this gave the characters the opportunity to catch us up, on what has been happening with not only them but their families and without divulging too much, with a new series pending this whetted my appetite perfectly for what is to come next. Harrison, Jimmy and Liam are there very special men but the women that love them get their opportunity to show us what how they have managed to keep their relationships as strong as ever. I laughed, with them as they reminisced about their lives and loves, but my most prominent feeling was one of pride, proud of the way they not only championed and supported their men but for the way they gave their children their unwavering and fervent support, like any parent they struggled with giving their kids the freedom to be themselves but yet they knew when to speak up and when to allow their kids to explore the world on their own…when you read it that will make sense, I don’t know that I would have been able to keep quiet. The author was able to give these super women a sense of normalcy that I thought was perfect.
