Winter Solstice by Elin Hilderbrand | Conversation Starters
It is Christmas and the Quinns are gathering once more for the holidays. This time however, their father Kelley is seriously ill. Bart survives Afghanistan but has PTSD and is depressed. Hi mother Mitzi tries to cheer him up but she is trying to cope with Kelley’s illness. Meanwhile, the other Quinn children have their own adult problems and challenges. Their mother Margaret is retiring and hopes to recover the time spent away from her children. Bittersweet and explosive feelings come to the fore as each of the Quinns have emotional encounters with each other.
Winter Solstice, the fourth book in the Winter series by New York Times bestseller Elin Hilderbrand, is much anticipated.

Folowing the Quinn family through Christmas and being a part of their lives was a great light read for Christmas. In the book I became fond of certain characthers and then found I changed my mind by the end of the book.
These Merry Christmas stories make me appreciate that Christmas in coming up. It even inspired me to online shop for “Christmas sweaters”. I tore through the final of this 1 in 4 books series. I found myself going to the Library, to get the next in the series on the DAY I finished. Reading all of Elin makes me wanna visit Nantucket SO BAD. I fell in love with the family of characters in this book. The span over the four years played out w a highlight of Christmas is so, so epic. I love reading this girl’s stuff. Elin, you are brilliant. Much love.❤️🎄
