MERRY MAYHEM AT A CHRISTMAS WEDDING! A hot holiday romantic comedy...
When hyper-organized Millie Romano is drafted to plan her friends’ Christmas wedding on Bohemia Beach, she knows it needs a spectacular centerpiece. Why not hire a world-renowned sand sculptor? Soon she realizes that no matter how talented Bennett Westyn is, he’s also a troublemaker, stirring up spats with the snooty caterer and driving Millie crazy. Worse, she can’t resist him, even as his merrymaking steers her toward a wedding-day disaster. As her Christmas Eve deadline nears, there are two things she can’t figure out: why her orderly life has become so muddled, and how she’s lost her heart in the mayhem.
This is the sixth book in the Bohemia Beach series, each a steamy standalone romance set among a circle of young artists in the enchanting Florida city they call home.
Lucy Lakestone is an award-winning author who lives on Florida's east central coast, among the towns that serve as an inspiration for the hot romances of her Bohemia Beach Series and the jumping-off point for the Bohemia Bartenders Mysteries. She's been a journalist, photographer, editor and video producer but prefers living in her imagination, where the moon is full and the cocktails are divine. In her spare time, she chases tornadoes.
What a beautiful way to end such a wonderful series. I simply love the world of Bohemia Beach that LL has created. The imagery and description are enough to transport you right there, make you bury your toes in the sand and sing along to Ez and the Emeralds. Bennet is probably one of my favorite heroes in this entire series. I love a man with a fun and goofy personality. And he plays off Millie's demand for order and organization so well. Their chemistry is raw and real and really draws you into their relationship. Throw in some jingling bells, mistletoe and lots of holiday whimsy and this book was not only the perfect way to kick off the holidays but also a great way to say goodbye to people who have truly become old friends. I can't wait for the spin-off series!
I won a copy of this book from the author. I was not required to give a favorable review. I very much enjoyed this wonderful book. I have read one other book in the series so I knew a few of the characters, it was well written and drew you in to route for all of the characters in the story. If you would like a wonderful short Christmas love story this is the book for you.
A fun story with some very quirky characters. Millie And Bennett make such a great couple. I love how there different personalities helped balance each others out. I loved the whole idea of a wedding theme combined with a Christmas theme. I also enjoyed connecting with the characters from previous books. A very enjoyable book with an entertaining story.
