Olivia is on her way to Pleasure Island with her business partner and friend, Ian, to perform for Jared's Christmas festivities. She's decided to gift herself something precious for Christmas - "to stop living her life so cautiously and open herself to the possibility of a fulfilling relationship." So when a tall, muscular hottie flirts with her on the boat ride over, she decides to take him up on his blatant offer.
Eric, said hottie, has come to Pleasure Island with one purpose. To stop denying himself. Olivia seems to be the perfect person for him to claim, but when it becomes obvious that there's another Dom who's vying for her attentions, Eric's not sure if he wants to involve himself in their obviously complicated relationship.
Ian's been hitting himself over the head for the past year, ever since he let Olivia run out on him the morning after the hottest night of his life, spent with her in his arms. He intends on getting her back, but how can he when it's obvious another Dom is intent on claiming her, and it's clear Olivia wants that just as badly?
I mostly enjoyed this highly erotic, carnal ménage story and I adored Eric. I felt badly for him, as his backstory was a bit heartbreaking. I do believe all three of them had a strong connection, but with Olivia and Ian's penchant for miscommunication and withdrawing into themselves, I have real doubts about this threesome making a go of it in the future. As it's written, though, I did enjoy it. It's super steamy, and I felt the emotional connection to be strong as well, although not quite as strong as the physical one, but I just found myself not liking Ian and Olivia, especially Olivia. She was downright bitchy and obnoxious at times (OK, most of the time), and quite frankly, I thought Eric could do much better than Olivia and Ian. Still, it's pretty well written, so 3.5 stars roounded up seems fair.

Menage in Paradise may be the 8th book in the Pleasure Island series but it can be read as a stand alone as well. I enjoyed this highly erotic story with many explicit sex scenes. While the story focuses on Olivia, Ian, and Eric we did see some scenes from past characters but not as many as in the past books. One thing I loved about this book was that the menage was that the men in the triad were not in tune with each other and were actually vying for Olivia's affections. With many scenes showing the three characters as couples and not as one three person unit, it made me wonder if the menage would only be for time on the island or if they would find a way to go beyond into the future. While things may not have moved in perfect harmony they seemed real and showed how people could work together when in the best interest of the heroine even if they needed to compromise. I found watching these men compete for Olivia fun but wish that there was more story and a little less sex. The character of Eric was wonderful and showed a lot of deep emotions. However, I felt that Olivia and Ian could have dug deeper into their pasts and why they made the choices they did. Overall, I loved the book but thought that there was so much more to this story that was left out.

PLEASURE ISLAND JUST BECAME INFINITELY MORE INTERESTING
The Pleasure Island series is a spinoff from the Dungeon Fantasy Club series and will have some of the people from DFC make an appearance. Jared McTavish left Scotland and created a BDSM resort on a private island about an hour from Nassau. Many of the members of DFC will have access to Pleasure Island in an exchange agreement. The story is a spinoff, and each book will read as a standalone. They also have people from DFC, but if you haven’t read them, you won’t be lost.
In this story, the three main characters were all at the wedding of Declan and Zoey. Ian and Olivia performed together, and Eric is the drummer for The Harbingers, a rock band from Australia. Eric has come to the Island in hopes of finding peace and enjoy the company of a submissive or two, being the only one in the band who is not involved in a relationship.
Olivia has had feelings for Ian for years, and after the wedding in Scotland and too much alcohol, they shared one erotic night of passion, but before morning, she will leave his bed and now for one year there has been tension in their friendship, that is also a business partnership. They have been invited by Jared to perform in the lobby for the Christmas season and guests who come to the resort.
The plot will have Eric, Ian, and Olivia all on the same boat ferrying them to the Island. While Ian doesn’t handle the water well, Eric and Olivia will become friends topside, and even make plans for that night at the club. I was granted an ARC Anya Summers' "Menage in Paradise (Pleasure Island Book 8)" via Booksprout; as usual, this is an intensely emotional book. Anya's a talented author with a great ability to write passionate stories that delve into sensitive subjects. Therefore, I'm gladly recommend this book, as well as her others, based upon their own merits. Anya's books always provide wonderful Reading Rabbit holes full of spectacular reading!! Anya's books are definitely books to be read, Reread, & READ again & Again several times... without tiring of! All opinions expressed within this review are uniquely my own & freely given.

I am voluntarily writing this review for this book I received through Booksprouts arc.
Olivia knew that this trip would make or break her relationship with her business partner. Ever since that one indiscretion it has been strained between them. She has taken this trip to possibly scene with someone to get her mind off what was happening. Eric was taking this vacation to help his depression and he was hoping to find a sub to be with the weeks he is there. Eric sees Olivia on the ferry over to the island she speaks to him and reminds him where they first met. Meanwhile Ian has wanted to get Olivia back into his bed. Meanwhile Olivia knew that they would not be together again because that ship had sailed. Olivia meets Eric at the club and they had major electricity between them. They scene at the club as they are leaving they run into Ian and he sent daggers to Olivia. Eric takes her upstairs and just as they were going into the room Ian shows up. Eric puts Olivia in his room and goes and talks with Ian. The two men set up a schedule so that they could try to convince her to stay with one of them. Olivia was getting more and more confused and exhausted being tossed between the two Doms. Finally she had enough of both of them and Jared seeing this told them both to leave her alone for a while. Both Doms were looking out for themselves and not for Olivia. Olivia was really confused because she wanted them both. LIttle did she know that both of them set up a scene with her now all she had to do was agree. Their time on the island was almost up and she couldn't make up her mind she still wanted both of them. Ian knew if he didn't get Olivia alone he would probably lose her. Eric could not imagine his life without her she calmed
his demons. Ian couldn't see himself without Olivia it pained him to think about it. Olivia was the one to make the choice would she leave Eric to be with Ian? Can she leave Ian to find peace with Eric?

Olivia has spent her life running from love. After growing up with an abusive father, she would not allow herself to trust love. The few times she had tried to let go of her fear, her little journey down the path of trust failed. Ian has loved Olivia for a long time but he does not know how to demonstrate or express his feelings. Any time he is faced with feelings that overwhelm him he has pushed the down and ignored them, finding that easier than facing them head on. Olivia and Ian have been dancing around their feelings for each other for a year, neither being willing to put their fears aside to take what they want from each other, love, comfort and affection. They are booked to perform on Pleasure Island. Olivia has decided she needs to move on or forever lose her friendship with Ian. This is when she meets Eric. Something about him pulls her in. She finds herself being torn apart between Ian and Eric, both trying to stack a claim on her and her heart. The journey they take to find happiness is a whirlwind of emotion and personal discovery, leaving each of them to face their own demons and fears to find happiness as a ménage.
I have frequently given 5 stars to the books in the Pleasure Island series but this one struck me as more sex than story. I feel like all of my reviews for these books are starting to sound the same. How many times can I say how much I love Anya Summers, and everything she writes, without becoming repetitive? I'm not really sure, but there isn't anything else I can say about her work. She is one of those authors I love to binge read. Once I start with one of her stories I can't put it down. The characters are so believable and complex with all of their doubts and fears, that I feel like I know them. Her settings are vivid and make me feel like I am actually there and not just reading about it. The romance and passion are what everyone dreams of having in their own lives, and it is easy to slip into the characters and live it vicariously through them. Each of those things are present in this one, and knowing that we are nearing the end of this series fills me with a sense of sorrow to say good-bye and excitement to see where Anya takes me next.
This story is about Olivia, Ian, and Eric. Olivia and Ian have some history before this story starts, and while Olivia was hopeful he could be the one he let her down. Now she is looking for someone else, and Eric might just be it. Ian isn't happy, to say the least, and let the drama unfold. I really can't recommend this book, and the rest of this series, enough. It is dramatic and passionate with the perfect level of dominance. I loved every second I spent reading it and I know anyone who picks it up will feel the same.

Trying to make a love triangle work
This is book 8 of the Pleasure Island series. Olivia is not a trusting sub. Ian is had his chance with O but messed it up. He knew her demons but didn’t do what a good Dom is supposed to do. He forgot the aftercare and honesty is key. Eric is needs some demons to quiet down. He needs to have peace and a sub he can call his own. When he sees Olivia on the boat to Pleasure Island he is captivated by her. Olivia wants Ian and has since that fated night in Scotland but the morning after realizations hit her and she ran. Now everyday is filled with bickering and harsh words between her and Ian. How can their business work? Let alone have a relationship. She is hoping that the tranquility of the island will help. Eric sees Olivia in the Club after the boat trip over to the island. He makes his move to woo her into being his sub for the week. Then jealousy takes hold of the two Doms as they try to woo her to their side. Finally it’s all too much and Jared steps in and makes them see how they are tearing Olivia apart. Could they possibly come together into a threesome. For her it appears they will try. This is an interesting menage story as the two Doms do not know each other and are not really friends but because the both want Olivia they are going to make it work. Love the story.

Olivia and Ian had a wild night of drunken sex almost a year ago. Since then their relationship has been strained at best. Creating a perfect Dom
This book has two relationships with one submissive for the majority of the story... you kinda love Eric and feel a little bad for Ian for all of the parts where they are both trying to win Olivia. It takes Jared veto their agreement because Olivia is worn out and exhausted for the two to recognise that perhaps they can work together and give their submissive one of her fantasies... they do it so well she refuses to give up either one and she falls in love with them both... its a good story, I do wish there where some additional story parts as this whole series takes place mostly while the characters are on holiday and so you don't get any real idea of how these three will make it work in their real life... the big Drummer and the piano man along with their cello playing hot pocket. It might be fun to have a reunion story with all the Band and their Symphony friends... maybe they could have a little wedding planner romance with another Symphony playing Dom where all these characters attend one of the Band's wedding or appear at a music concert... I liked this story because it took 3 strangers sorta and brought them together... so many menage stories start with the guys already friends or brothers.

This book puts Olivia between a rock star and a hard case. Olivia is determined to move on from Ian, best friend and one night stand, and Eric, the drummer rock star is ringing all her bells as the dom to do it. Of course, Ian decides the Island is the time to finally make his move, putting Olivia in the middle of these two very dishy doms.
I liked the interplay between each of the three characters, and it felt especially realistic what you would expect between the two doms. There was some great dialogue and there were some places that I wished had more dialogue. The overall book had what I have come to expect from this series-steamy scenes, some angst, a bit of a misunderstanding, and my happy ending. There were a few parts where it felt like the characters weren't being true to their back stories (Olivia's reactions at the end, for example, without going into details, because really, I can't spoil it for you!), but overall I really enjoyed the story and am sad that this appears to be the last book set on the Island.

Ian made a huge mistake. He made love to the beautiful submissive, Olivia in Scotland, and when he woke up and she was gone, he didn't go after her. In fact, he never mentioned it again, yet they were musical partners! Olivia has never felt pain like she did with Ian's ignoring their intense experience. When a year goes by, and the tension mounts, their hired to perform on Pleasure Island. She decides that she needs to find another Dom to help her get over Ian. She meets the sexy drummer, Eric. They begin the art of seduction, only to have Ian decide he wants another chance. The two Doms decide to fight for her. Olivia knew her abusive past was catching up with her, and she had a bigger choice then which man to choose. She was fighting for her very soul. I loved the conflict and inner demons that each character had. Could they really find a way to work out all their intense feelings for each other, and learn to let go and love each other? Read this hot, steamy, sexy book to find out! I highly recommend!

Ménage in Paradise is Anya Summers newest addition. Olivia is ready to find a new partner to spend some time with on the island even though she is on the island with her business partner and onetime lover Ian. Olivia just doesn’t think Ian wants her any longer and she is ready to look for a new dom. She meets Eric on the boat and they hit it off. Ian however isn’t willing to let Olivia go without a fight. What ensues is too men vying for Olivia’s attention. Their attentions soon wear out Olivia a bring them the scrutiny of Jared the owner. I thought that these two men could have gotten their act together way before now in the story. Ian especially seemed like a child with a toy he didn’t want until someone else wanted it. Eric just seemed really caring and sweet. I’m not sure I even liked Ian until the end. I am glad that they both were able to make Olivia happy in the end though. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

Olivia knows that this is the last straw for them though this trip will either make or break them for good this time. Little did she know while she was trying to figure out what her next step would be another was trying to figure a way to get close to her. When Olivia meets Eric he knows she could be the one to pull him from misery. Can they all find a HEA in the end or will this just be a 2 week get away from their real lives?
This is an amazing book. It does have it's ups and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin the book for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Anya Summers is a very talented storyteller. I have enjoyed all the books in this series and this one is not an exception. After reading the first few pages of this book I was hooked to the end. We saw the three main characters, Olivia, Eric, and Ian, in previous books and now it is their turn. Olivia has been touring with Ian Kane with their very own traveling act and now the ower, Jared, of Paradise Island hired Olivia and Ian to play for the Christmas holiday. Eric is a drummer in a band but he is going to Paradise Island for a vacation. Both Ian and Eric wanted Olivia as their submissive but Olivia's heart was torn between the two Doms. The characters each have a pass that they are dealing with in addition to dealing with their feeling about each other. The story was beautifully written and engaging.

Both were with the London Symphony Orchestra, but went out to tour on their own. After some friends wedding in Scotland, they ended up in bed together for one night of passion. Olivia left without waking Ian and neither have discussed the event since. Pleasure Island is a BDSM destination for couples and individuals in the lifestyle. On the ferry to the island, Ian is very seasick, so Olivia and Eric, a drummer in a rock band strike up a conversation. She agrees to meet him later that evening, which really makes Ian angry...but to her surprise, both Eric and Ian are both making plays for her. Now she needs to decide, but you will have to read the book to see what happens.

This book is so good! Even though it started out one way, you quickly realize what the solution is... although neither Olivia nor Ian or Eric figured it out by themselves. It took Jared getting angry with them and suggesting it. The passion between each couple was off the charts and when they decided to try it as a menage? Oh my! I thought my kindle was finally going to melt... and me along with it. 😏😍💘
Again, this book deals with the BDSM lifestyle and it's many, many variations so if that's not for you, don't read this book. But, this whole series has been amazing and this book is no different.💕 And there's only one more book in this series! 😭

Once again Ms. Summers delivers. This book is once again set in the Pleasure Island series. She has once again created interesting, intriguing characters who take this whole Dom/sub relationship to another level. I liked the fact that they had a brief one night stand a year prior to this story taking place and he has since realized that she is the woman for him. But he has competition for her attention with another Dom. I love D/s relationships and while I enjoy reading the alpha male version who seemingly just takes over, it was nice to read a book with a Dom who isn't all knowing and doesn't have to work very hard to get his girl (sub).

Anya Summer’s Pleasure Island series continues with the story of Olivia Drummond. She’s off to Pleasure Island to try and get over her upset over being dumped by her friend and dom Liam after sleeping with him. She meets dom Eric on the boat ride over and they agree to scene together.

I find it hard to believe that this book is over two hundred pages, it's so easy to read it seems shorter! It's brilliantly written and described. There is plenty of hot spicy sex and some spankings. I enjoyed the interaction between the characters. The menage relationship evolves gradually. There is plenty in this story to hold the reader's interest. This is a very good series. All the books are different and very entertaining. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book and I highly recommend it.

WOW!!! A great book and fantastic read. I found this book sexy and exciting. The story and the characters were well written with great detail. This story was full of many emotional situations and exciting experiences that I would love to have had as my own (but don't tell my husband). After reading the book I feel as if I was there. This book is addicting and you will not be able to put it down. It is a must read and I can't wait to read the next book in the series!
