I have overall really enjoyed this trilogy. While this book wasn't my favourite, I did like getting to the end and finding out how things wrapped up.
My main issue with this book was Lenore. I found her to be a wishy-washy wimp who let people push her around and walk all over her, even when she really didn't need to. I connect to strong female characters, and both of her sisters were that kind of character, so I connected to them much more strongly in the other two books.
That said, this author is a great writer who knows how to craft a plot and roll out the story. I was very invested in this continuing story and I enjoyed the ways that folklore, fairies and magical things were woven in with the stories of the three triplet sister witches.
This was a strong paranormal trilogy and I enjoyed it enough to buy all three books, which I rarely do these days. It was worth the money and I recommend this series to paranormal fiction fans.

Down is book #3 and the concluding part of The Witches of Doyle trilogy. This book is Lenore's story and her role in finding the rose rabbit and putting an end to the hold that the fairy Belle has over the town of Doyle.
Lenore works in the town bookstore, but when her boss is murdered, Lenore is suspicious. She's soon contacted by Mr Pivens an executor of Mike's will and told that he left her the shop and his rare books collection. Lenore knew nothing of the rare books and is soon being hounded by a shady dealer about a possible valuable book.
With her sister Karin pregnant time is also running out to solve the fairy mystery hanging over Doyle and the family curse. The rose rabbit is the key if only they can find out who it is. Perhaps the many ghosts which Lenore can see can help her?
Everyone is looking for answers, the FBI were called in when twenty two people and a pub went missing, Alba Pollard, schizophrenic resident is hounding the town and Lenore's list of suspects is long.

The third and final book in the Doyle Witch cozy mystery series concerns Lenore, the shaman among the triplets. When the owner of the bookstore where she works dies and leaves the establishment to her, murders (and the ghosts she sees) start piling up around her.
For some reason, I didn't love this book quite as much as the other two. The mystery is well-done, and the paranormal bits are incorporated beautifully. At the end of the day, Lenore seemed less substantial as a character than her sisters, and I couldn't drum up much empathy for her.
Still, it was a satisfying ending to the trilogy. I look forward to reading more from this author.

Disappointing end

1) The settings were well-done
2) The trilogy arc was completed in full
3) The plot-driven storyline was curious and

1) World-building continued to be light
2) The way to defeat the fairy made sense according to rules set out in myth and legend but so I found it unsatisfying
Bad
1) The female lead was unbelievably self-absorbed and too stupid to live
2) The male lead was another place holder; he had no personality besides a few moments of presumptuous ahole and no development
3) The romantic-driven storyline also had zero development; it just was there on-page with no build up or explanation
4) Once again the female lead's magic was rendered ineffective
5) It was ridiculous that the three sister went six months, especially with one of having a death sentence hanging over her and her fiancee's head, without bothering to do anything to help their situation
I understand there are further books with the same characters but I will not be continuing.

Things are coming to a head for the Bonheim sisters in their ongoing struggle against the fae who has cursed their family line. This time around, it's Lenore's turn to end up tangled in a dangerous situation. She's trying to figure out who killed her friend, while searching for the Rose Rabbit and doing her best to stay out of the killer's crosshairs. On top of all that, she's also dealing with her power being a little off. Not in a big way, but it's a little more unpredictable than it normally is.
As if all that's not enough, the sisters are running against the clock since Karin has a wee one on the way and they all expect the fae to do what she does best when it comes to expectant Bonheim women.
Yeah, Lenore has a lot going on. Throw in an unexpected inheritance, a potential relationship with the policeman she's been crushing on forever, and ghosts who are acting outside the norm and she has more than her fair share of things to deal with. On the upside, she has her sisters and their combined magic and a whole lot of grit and determination.

Mystery solved
The third book of the trilogy wraps up the story of the curse on the Bonheim sisters. With some other world assistance they are able to figure out how to end their curse, but not before their nemesis claims more lives in Doyle. Lenore, the youngest sister is featured in this book and her visions are critical to unraveling the mystery. Her romance with deputy Connor Hernandez is more tentative than her sisters' relationships, but in the end her love for Connor may be what ties her to this world.

A very nice ending for a series involving three triplets, Doyle, lots of people and a fairy. The last book in this series ties it all together and the ending is sweet and romantic! Yes, you have murders, action , romance along with plot twists. Meet a few new characters and the parts they play in this story. I do recommend this book but wash there was an after the fairy and curse was gone book.

By far my favorite of the series. I loved that she worked in a bookstore, saw ghosts, and the secret room! I like the hero, too.
I rarely write fan letters, but I think I'm sending one to Weiss.
Best of all, this is one I can recommend to my students because Weiss focuses on telling a grand story rather than supplimenting with sensationalism.

The Witches of Doyle are my favorite cozy mysteries EVER. Weiss knows witches, and she gets them right in her stories! Well ... right, with maybe some exaggerated abilities, but still, this is a person who is familiar both with lore and with actual modern witchcraft in practice, which is hard to find and even harder to find in a story that is enjoyable in and of itself. LOVE!

Read in one day, just had to know the outcome. Enjoyable series, but it did leave me wanting a little bit more. Im delighted to see there are a few more for me to read. The Rose Rabbits post of view should shed light of the details behind the books. Cannot wait to see whats to come.

This is the 3rd book. Theses 3 sisters, kept getting no where and so many answers in turn with so many questions. They had such a true bond and time was running out. In the end would they be powerful enough to beat there curse?

Really good book! I couldn't put it down. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars because there were some typos, confusingly worded sentences, and the main character was annoying at times. lol. but overall really good

A unsettling, unforseen ending

Really enjoyed this final book in the trilogy. The story tied in perfectly. I would definitely read more books by Kirsten Weiss.

A real page turning read. I enjoyed this book as much as the other books in the series. Initially I found Lenore, the focus of this book, dull and the least favorite of the sisters, but I liked her a lot more by the end of the story. I absolutely recommend this series.

Wow. Excellent conclusion to this series! This book focuses on Lenore, the quietest of the triplets. The clues come a bit faster in this book and the mystery of Doyle is concluded.
