Landon, father of three, accidentally runs into another shopper while looking at oranges in the supermarket. He thinks little of the incident, but after being tasked to find a church by his mother and testing out a Children's Advent Celebration with his kids, he discovers that the shopper is actually one of the instructors helping all of the children make spiced orange pomanders. The man gives Landon a pomander with his phone number on it, but since Landon swore off men for 2017 after his partner left him and his dates have all flakes on him, will he take the instructor up on his offer of a date?
This was a cute, little holiday nugget. Like a quick peek at a moment in time in Landon’s life. A chance encounter at the supermarket, an oranges and cloves countdown, and the hopefulness of a possible new relationship.
Unfortunately, I do have to say that the constant reminder of his ex who abandoned his family was a bit of a buzzkill in this holiday read.

Not bad althoug i wish it was longer or even had a better ending because it ended strange/abruptly.
The MC meet two short times admit to each other that they have a different type they usually fall for and then we don't see them together anymore and before you know the book is finished. We don't get to see them going on a date or getting to know each other it really feels like this is a first chapter of a longer book that's why i gave it 2 stars i think if the author would give these characters some more page time this could have been a good read.
