Devon and Teagan join forces as they work valiantly to not only defend a murderess, but to help Teagan's sisters and Logan Farmer as they battle an unseen evil that threatens to destroy the small town of Lakewood. And as they work together, they also form a tentative truce that they both know could lead to more.

About the author

Teresa Keefer was chosen by her adoptive parents in Warsaw, Indiana and has remained in Indiana all her life. She currently resides in rural Indiana with a menagerie of dogs, cats, goats, chickens and a sheep named Lucy.

She has three beautiful adult daughters and seven fantastic grandchildren who all live a hop, skip and a jump away from her.

Holding an MBA from Indiana Institute of Technology, she has spent the last 30 years in the human resources profession. In her spare time—what little there is—she can be found doing a variety of crafts, cooking, studying the paranormal, making organic remedies, and barefoot gardening.

Her bucket list is quite extensive, and she is determined to mark off every item—as she adds two more for each one accomplished.

Another wholesome little paranormal read. Book 2 in the series the “evil” carries on from book 1. Although book 1 main evil was human, this book leans towards paranormal although don’t really get an idea on what.

Second sister Teagan’s love story. In book 1 her and Devon clash and don’t think much of each other, this book starts the same and then all of a sudden there is attraction.
The spice is very mild, like book 1.
It’s a wholesome kind of love story.

I’m not loving these books, but I was hoping to read book 3 to find out the mystery. It’s not available on KU so I guess I won’t be reading … (book 1 & 2 are KU)

I find the story overly descriptive on things that don’t need to have that much detail poured into it and this book was very food based. So much talk around what food to eat.

Eek! This series is just too good not to read. Romance, paranormal and suspense all wrapped up in one book. I was hooked by the first book, Blessed Be, but fell in love with this book all by itself. The characters are well rounded and the storyline will hook you and you won't put it down!
