Caught in the Surf

Fortune is the last thing Detective Dillon Storm will find on Florida’s Treasure Coast

When Dillon Storm’s grandfather invites the gang to a ‘living memorial service’ for himself over in his beloved vacation spot of Vero beach, Florida, Dillon thinks it’s a strange idea. Funerals are for the dead, and his grandfather isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. Still, if it’s what the old man wants, who is he to turn him down?

When the daughter of Vero Beach’s police chief goes missing along the shoreline though and a man Dillon believes to be innocent is fingered for foul play, things take a turn.

Now, at odds with local law enforcement- including a mismatched pair of officers who seem as intent on condemning the seemingly innocent man as Dillon is of clearing him, the Naples detective finds himself in a place that makes him very uncomfortable; the wrong side of the law.

Enlisting help from surprising sources, Dillon soon finds a surprising connection to a woman he investigated for a crime years ago, up in Chicago; one of the most enigmatic and dangerous people he’s ever known.

Will Dillon be able to convince the Treasure Coast’s Finest that he really is on their side, or will he find himself behind bars for obstruction of justice as he digs for the truth in a place where the rest of the world is digging for buried treasure.

When secrets lie in the sand, it can often be far too easy to get CAUGHT IN THE SURF!

Storm gets some answers to the biggest question from his past. Fun new characters and a twisting story line. A good read!

Good story

The story is good, but grammar not so much, punctuation terrible. Typos, at least I hope that's what they are, add up to a book that's really hard to read. This guy really needs a good proofreader \ editor.

A story that proves " its a small world. "

A whole new city and all the friends. This story touches the past as it emerges into an exciting tale of gangs, slavery, and an offshoot of the FBI. Worth you time.

DILLON STORM VS HUMAN TRAFFICKING

Dillon, Rebecca, Boomer, Charlotte, Issac, and Dillon’s Grandfather travel to Florida’s east coast for a “funeral party” only to become caught up in the take-down of a human trafficking ring. Great plot & breathtaking suspense.

Caught in the Surf

I really love this series. It has the thrills and mystery that I really enjoy. This keeps you guessing till the very end. There is one more book in this series and I really hate to see it end . I highly recommend this book and series.

Caught in the Surf

Really enjoyed every minute of reading this book. Full of intrigue and suspense as with Mark Stone's previous books that I've read. Held your attention to the very end. Looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

Another one that is shocking! This one kept me on the edge of my seat. It was a struggle to figure it all out because it was so well written. Hiding just enough thats its hard to figure out. As usual these stories keep me always looking forward to the next one.

Poor spell check and wrong words

Good stories, I wish more attention was paid to these issues, it's like no one actually read this before they published

Proof reader?

Does anyone proof read these books? I’ve read the first 4 books and they all have sentences that don’t make sense. Good stories but find a new proof reader.

So many editing errors!

Although I liked the story, it was difficult to enjoy the book because of the spelling, grammar and incorrect words permeating every page.
