Taking the Fall: The Full Complete Series

Rate this book
We’ve come a long way since Taking the Fall Volume 1 released in 2015. Since then we’ve added pieces to the puzzle as our readers demanded more! Finally, every story has been combined into one bundle.

This complete series includes:

Taking the Fall with bonus letters from Carter
Falling In - Saint and Jeanette
Fall Into Place - Mary and Anthony, with Samuel and Nika
The Final Fall - Viktor and London

Taking the Fall

Layla O’Leary has had enough. For years she has been haunted by the night she can’t remember. When she learns the only man she's ever loved has betrayed her, she escapes and crafts a new identity. She's finally free...

Carter has waited eight years to claim his woman. Locking him up only fueled his obsession. The day he gets out he's coming for her. Carter and Layla were just the start. Now he'll stop at nothing to possess what's his.

Warning: This book contains a hero who grunts and growls his way through life, a heroine nicknamed Cherry looking to lose it, and instalove so fast and hard your panties might disintegrate. Note: Not responsible for exploding panties.

Falling In

They met by chance. Or so she thought...

Losing her wasn't something he was willing to do. Sometimes life takes you to the edge, but Jeanette had a Saint to catch her.

This is the short story of how they met, how they fell in love, and how much Saint loves going down on her.

Fall Into Place

One night in Vegas. Two weddings. Four virgins.

Mary & Anthony

Mary has belonged to Anthony since the day she was born. They’ve known each other their whole lives, but he won’t touch her until she says, "I do."

Their parents' story should have been a cautionary tale, but when Mary finally agrees to Anthony’s proposal, they run away to Vegas to tie the knot.

But what do they do when things don’t go according to plan and they find themselves caught between a Russian sniper and his runaway daughter?

Easy! Lock themselves in a hotel room and pop some cherries!

Samuel & Nika

Samuel’s twin sister, Mary, is off to Vegas to marry his best friend, Anthony. Samuel’s heading to Sin City with them to give her away, but trouble in the form of a sneaky brunette stops him dead in his tracks.

Nika’s on the run, and she’s found herself backed into a corner. But she’s been trained on how to defend herself, especially against a big beast like Samuel.

From the first look he was finished and had no intention of ever letting her go.

You begged for the story of Mary and Anthony, and here it is! The final chapter in the Taking the Fall series closes with two short stories on the children of Carter, Layla, Saint, and Jeanette.

Warning: These stories are just as fierce, just as strong, and just as steamy as the rest of the series. These novellas can be read as standalones but will be enjoyed even more after reading the Taking the Fall series.

The Final Fall

After years of begging, we’ve finally given you Viktor’s story. Find out who brings the man they call The Fixer to his knees. And meet the woman who's wrapped herself around his cold heart.

Warning: This novella is the final chapter in the Taking the Fall Series. Seriously, guys, we mean it. Enjoy!

3.5 to 4*

Vol 1 - 4*

Why am I just reading this book now?

I've read so many Alexa Riley books I can't believe I'm just reading thin now. It's OTT crazy possessive alpha smut as always but I'm loving it.

Carter (who is Carter?) is serving eight years in prison for murder the book opens four years into his sentence with a twenty year old Layla visiting him. She's written him hundreds of letters and not heard a word back, he used to be her bodyguard, a bodyguard she fell in love with.
Layla has no idea what happened that night.

All I have is this giant blank spot in my mind driving me insane. One second I have a perfect life and the next I wake up in the hospital covered in bruises, with my mother missing, along with my bodyguard.

Not only does Layla not get any answers Carter but he tells her he threw her letters and she's to get gone. With that she takes off and starts a new life.
Four years later Carter is released and we all know where he's heading.

I loved this book, yes Carter is completely OTT and obsessed but I can't wait for more.

Vol 2 - 3*

This starts three months later and Carter is on a mission but Layla knows nothing, all she knows is he's left her again without a word.

Her life changes and still no Carter but then something brings him back and everything changes. Layla finds out exactly what happened that night and how much she means to him.

I didn't enjoy this as much as the previous one because Layla has a TSTL moment.

Vol 3 - 4*

I think this is my favourite so far.

Carter is even more OTT crazy and possessive and Layla is one lucky woman.
This is the end of Carter and Layla's story, all threats are dealt with a lot of sex along the way.

I'm a great lover of epilogues anyway but this one is absolutely beautiful.

Vol 4 - 3*

I was really looking forward to Jeanette and Saints story, I'll admit I've been curious about Jeanette past, what happened to make her into the woman she is today?

My only worry was the sex, these books are high on the smut scale but in the previous book Saint had been handcuffed to the bed which isn't my thing, so yes I was worried.

I loved Saint and Jeanette is a strong feisty as hell female and while I didn't like her need to dominate I loved that Saint did and gave her that.

I have to admit her past wasn't quite what I'd imagined. The way she came up with the cover story and her ability to use guns had me envisioning something much more convoluted.

Again it had a good epilogues.

Another reread for me for the hundredth time....I think this is my favorite couple of AR's.

Reread August 2016

This is a reread for me...again. Carter and Layla are one of my all-time favorite couples. I love how he never lets her go and is obsessed with her.
"My body needs to possess her. I want to consume her soul, to bind it with mine so I know she’s protected and touched only by me."

"Seeing her like this, taking my cock and lost in her own pleasure, is my greatest fantasy. What we are doing now is more than lovemaking, more than fucking, more than anything we’ve ever done. It’s primal, it’s need, but it’s more. It’s not ravenous or rushed. This right here, this is decadent. I feel it everywhere. On my skin, in my heart, and through her soul to mine."

The 4th book is not my favorite but it's still good. This is Saint and Jeanette's story. I love Saint but I just didn't care for Jeanette. I loved her with Layla and she's a great friend but I like for my heroes to be in charge especially in the bedroom. I understand why she is the way she is...I just don't prefer heroines like that. But overall, this will continue to be a reread for me from time to time.

February 2016 Read these separately a while ago but reread as one this time. I love a caveman like OTT alpha male and insta-love. Perfect!

Taking The Fall: Volume 1-3
4.75 Stars

The first story is about Carter and Layla.

The first thing I have to say is that I loved Carter! He's amazing! One of the best AR heroes! There's a scene I didn't like but the story was really good.

They wanted to be together since the beginning but they faced a lot of obstacles. He had sacrificed so much for her. He even went to prison to protect her and he always had eyes on her, still protecting her and taking care of her even when he's away.

It has a beautiful epilogue.

SAFETY:

Taking The Fall: Volume 4- Falling In
4 Stars

The second story is about Saint and Jeanette.

I was excited to read their story and it was good too. Just that there's too much mentions about abusing women and rape. I've read a lot of AR books but so far, this series had the most abuse/rape in it. Nothing detailed but I still didn't like it.

About Saint and Jeanette, because of what happened in her past, it became hard for her to let him in. She always wanted to be in control and Saint's a strong, hard man but he was so patient with her and let her take the lead because he loves her and wants her to be happy.

Another beautiful epilogue.

Not much substance to the story and the writing was pretty mediocre but it was okay. There was too much sex and the hero I guess was supposed to be dominant but came off as too controlling, I didn't it attractive at all and I like strong alpha males. The heroine had a major TSTL moment as well. I was glad I got this under KU so I didn't pay for it.

This book was up and down for me. I liked Layla, but Carter was hit or miss for me. He was more alpha-hole than anything else and frankly, I just didn't like him very much.

I felt this was just full of one big ridiculous, wannabe alpha, who didn't seem 34- more like 20, who thought his word was law and too bad for his woman. If he wanted sex right then and there- then that's what he'll get - and take- and she'll like it- or that's just too bad. I hated the way he is with the heroine, and I hate that she was basically a doormat in the end. Sigh.

The heroine puts herself and the baby's life in harms way with her TSTL moment too.

So tired of idiot, childish, ahole, wanna be alpha males.

This story could have been awesome! But instead ? I felt nothing for the H/h. I couldn't connect to anything in the story. The only thing I cared about? - seeing if Saint and Janette would work out.

I loved this series! And I am absolutely crazy about Carter! I loved how bossy, growly, and pushy he was. He was so over the top in love with Layla and had been since he first laid eyes on her. He never thought about or looked at another woman- he was totally devoted. He was pushy with Layla but also very sweet to her. He was obviously my favorite! I did enjoy Layla too. She was a great heroine and was a good support for Carter. The story was interesting and easy to read. I also liked the story about Jeannette and Saint- they were great together. I would love a little novella about Mary and Tony. Safety gang safe

Wow, this series has had my attention since I first started reading it. They're all short stories but they sure as hell all pack a punch. They're sexy and full of drama. It's beautiful but also saddening. The amount of things both couples go through is insanely crazy but they all get their HEA which is absolutely perfect.

Carter and Layla have always belonged together, after waiting for 9 years Carter finally gets his girl and will do anything it takes to protect her.

Saint and Jeanette instantly connected when she spotted him at the library she works at and hasn't been able to stop thinking about him since and the same goes for Saint, she's never far from his mind.

Both their stories are beautiful to read. They'll capture your mind and suck you in to the book and make you feel exactly what the characters feel. Alexa Riley did amazing with this series and I can't wait to read more of their work.

Warning: this book contains a hero who grunts and growls his way through life, a heroine nicknamed Cherry looking to lose it, and instalove so fast and hard your panties might disintegrate. Note: not responsible for exploding panties.

Includes Short Story on Jeanette & Saint:
They met by chance. Or so she thought...

Losing her wasn't something he was willing to do. Sometimes life takes you to the edge, but Jeanette had a Saint to
catch her.

This is the short story of how they met, how they fell in love, and how much Saint loves going down on her.

Letters Carter wrote Cherry while in Prison.

Hated this book. And I hated it hard. Why is this a romance? The hero grooms the heroine when she was a teenager...and the only reason he didn't have sex with her when she was underage was because he went to prison for 8 years. Then, when he gets out of prison he then proceeds to control her life. This sounds like a chronicle of control and abuse to me. Not romance. Please, someone explain why this is a romance, I don't get it.

Overall rating: 2.5 stars

Okay.. To be fair to this 4 Volume Set, I decided to rate each volume accordingly & round the stars out later...

Keep in mind that these volumes are very brief. Some are as short as 4 or 5 chapters. Some are 7 or 8 chapters with a Prologue & Epilogue attached. But none go above 8 chapters. So again they are very brief. Especially volume 1. So if you're looking to try this series after reading this review, I strongly suggest that you go with the box set. It's the better deal for your money.

Now..
Volume#1: 1 Star

This one started out really well with the Prologue & 1st chapter. You have the intrigue the mystery, and that hook that grabs you and says You're gonna want to stick around to read this one. Especially when it came to Carter & Cherry. You just had to know what their deal was & why they are at the places they are in their lives, when you meet them.

Sadly once you reach chapter two in volume 1, this fact immediately flies out the window. And unfortunately, the writing, the chemistry, the development of the MC's never shows any layers or true life to it. The editing definitely needs to be updated. Not many spelling errors, but there were several times that the chapters are mislabeled as to whose POV you're actually reading. It will throw you off most definitely. So that needs to be fixed.

The only people who got & kept my interest as these stories progressed, were the secondary characters. Saint & Jeanette. They are very present during the 1st 3 volumes, but you'll get to them & their story in the final volume of this box set.

Volume#2: 2 Stars

Volume#3: 2 Stars

Volume#4: 3.5 Stars
This is the one that gives you the story of Saint & Jeanette.
I have to say all the things you suffer through with Volumes 1-3 are not present here. The writing is tighter. And though it's brief, you get alot of back story with these two characters. They are written with heart, soul, & white hot chemistry. And I liked the way their story is brought to a close as well.

And Saint? My GOODNESS!! I've NEVER met a man so masculine, alpha, & so submissive all at once. It was hot. A great change up. And one that I can't really put into words for describing. You'll just have to read him.
But he's the business ;) I really liked this one. I just wish that their story could have been a bit longer, or honestly, I just wish that Saint & Jeanette were the focus of the first 3 volumes and not Carter & Cherry

Would have made this box set a whole lot better.

So I am glad that I stuck it out to get to their (Saint & Jeanette's) story. The catch though, is to truly understand their story, I feel you have to get through the 1st 3 volumes.

So.. Volume 4, THE BEST BOOK out of this series.

If you're still curious about these books, again, I suggest you buy the 4 book set, or better yet, borrow them. But don't buy them separately. They're too brief.

Happy Reading :)

4.5 Stars for the entire series

This may be my favorite Alexa Riley read so far. I really liked Carter and Cherry (her name is actually Layla but Carter calls her Cherry) but I also really liked their story. This one was more story driven than some of Ms. Riley’s other books but it totally worked. The problems that Carter and Cherry encountered were serious and while not always well handled by the characters, they tried hard to protect one another.

It was really interesting to learn how Carter came to be in Layla's life, his whole story was definitely surprising. He was your typical alpha neanderthal but it totally worked for them. Layla was his sweet, innocent counterpart and she had just enough fire to keep him on his toes.

The first 3 installments are about Carter and Cherry but the fourth installment is about their best friends Saint and Jeanette! I was really excited that Jeanette and Saint got their own novella. Jeanette had a lot of problems and past trauma so having their own novella gave us time to explore what was haunting her. Saint and Jeanette were extra interesting because Jeanette totally wore the pants in that relationship, it was interesting to see her bossing Saint around in the bedroom.

This was another great Alexa Riley read, you definitely need to read AT LEAST the first 3 together.

**I read this as part of my Kindle Unlimited Subscription**

One of my all time favorite series by AR republished with the new added stories.
The first time I read Carter and Cherry/ Saint and Jeanette, I fell in love and that has remained on every reread. Then came "Falling into Place" with Mary/Anthony, Samuel /Nica, and finally Victor and London- all keeping the magic going.
What a wonderful box set to own with the handsome model on the cover.

* Taking the Fall Parts 1 - 4:

Carter has wanted, loved, Layla since the day he met her, but there were two problems. First, her age of sixteen, which was not only ten years younger than him, but making touching her illegal at the time. Second, her dad was his boss, and Carter was hired as Layla's bodyguard. Then, one night six months later changed everything, sending Carter to jail for murder and Layla unable to remember what happened. Layla tried to stay in contact with him though he never answered, even visiting him four years into his eight year sentence, but Carter sends her away, cruelly, breaking both their hearts in the process.

Finally, Carter is free to do what he's wanted since the moment he set eyes on Layla eight and a half years ago...make her his. His first stop is heading straight to his Cherry, knowing exactly where she is as a trusted friend has been watching over her.

When Layla sees Carter again, she's understandably angry and confused, but she still loves him, even though his words that day hurt her. However, when he explains why he did that, and that she's not as hidden from her dad as she'd believed, Layla knows the time for running is over. She's ready to stay and fight for herself, and a future with Carter.

Psst...This is Alexa Riley, people. We know Carter and Layla persevere over the bad guys and get their much deserved HEA, so one-click and follow along as two people, loyal to one another in all ways since their eyes first met, finally get the future they've always wanted.

* Falling In -

If you read Carter and his Cherry's story, then you know Saint, Carter's best friend and the man tasked with watching over Layla when Carter couldn't, and Jeannette, Layla's best friend and co-worker. Saint and Jeannette's paths may have crossed because he was protecting Layla, but Saint knows they would've found each other regardless. She was always meant to be his, and vice versa. However, when Jeannette learns why Saint is there, and believes he used her to stay close to Layla, Jeannette is heartbroken, and refuses to give him a second chance.

Thankfully, Saint is not only determined to get his woman back, but he also knows that's what she wants to, even if she acts otherwise.

Yes, of course Saint and Jeannette work it all out and get their HEA, but the journey to it is interesting and sexy.

* Fall into Place (Anthony & Mary) -

Carter and Layla and Saint and Jeannette found their soul mates years ago and have enjoyed crazy wedded bliss, and now, over twenty years after their stories, and Viktor's which follows this one, it's time for their kids to do the same.

Anthony, Saint and Jeannette's son, and Mary, Carter and Layla's daughter, have loved one another their entire lives, since the day they were both born, the bond between them instant and eternal. Now, on their twenty-first birthdays, they're ready to make it permanent, to start their family, and eloping seems the best way to do that. Oh boy, their parents may kill them, but love is always worth the consequences. Right?

Will Tony and Mary make all their dreams come true? But, on the way to officially becoming one, Tony and Samuel's professional lives, as they're partners in a bail bonds company, interfere. Will the danger following them ruin everything?

* Fall into Place Part 2 (Samuel & Nika):

Samuel, Mary's twin, went with Tony and his sister, intent on walking her down the aisle. While he's happy for them, it's also brings forth his own loneliness...but not for long, as he meets his one while there, and knows immediately she's his.

Nika, Viktor's daughter, is running, though not from danger. She wants freedom, and her dad, a now retired, and very successful at his former job, Russian Whitman, understandably did all he could, and then some, to ensure she and her mom were safe. However, that safety became stifling, and Nika just wanted to be normal, as much as she could. Though she's been trained in defending herself, her heart has no chance against the man determined to make her his.

Can Samuel keep Nika safe? Will their be a double wedding for these two couples?

* The Final Fall -

Viktor made an appearance earlier in the series, and we were given a glimpse of the love he has for his mysterious woman. Now, with this story, we meet her and learn her history, as well as the danger she's fleeing.

London knows she's being watched, just not by who. Sounds scary, right? Normally, yes, but for London that's not the case. She craves his attention, and when he runs, fleeing her dad, she waits for him to follow, needing to know who he is and what they could have.

Now Viktor and London must navigate their new life together, while freeing themselves from their old ones.

Can Viktor keep her safe? Of course he can. Did you miss earlier when I said he was a very successful hitman? LOL Can London handle Viktor's job, his past? Will Viktor continue his work? Will they get a HEA?

One-click now and read these five stories. They're sweet, sexy, intriguing, and fun. For those concerned with safety, here's a breakdown per book - Taking the Fall, Carter has been celibate since first seeing Layla, and she was a virgin. Falling In, Saint and Jeannette were not with anyone else since they met. Fall into Place - Anthony, Mary, Samuel, and Nika were all virgins, therefore each couple has only been with their respective spouse. The Final Fall, Viktor was celibate, and has been since first laying eyes on London the year before. As for London, she's a virgin.

The hero definitely had an all alpha, dirty mouth, but at times I felt there was more sex than story.

The hero went to jail to protect the heroine. The hero used to be the heroine's bodyguard. The heroine has tried to get the hero's "attention" since she was a teen. I am not sure what to think of the heroine. I did not love her or hate her. There was nothing about her that stood out for me. I did not care for the side story of the heroine's BFF, Jeannette, and the hero's friend, Saint. I had no idea why Saint wanted Jeannette. She was a good friend to Layla, but I did not find her funny or cute.

If you read the box set...volume 4 FALLING IN is Jeanette and Saint's story. I skipped it when I realized it was just them.

I just couldn't finish this one folks. I plain ole lost interest. It's good filthy smut, which is why I'll give it a solid 2 1/2 stars, but it needs more substance to keep my attention. Loved the writing, but the hero is waaaaaaaaay too over the top. Not much of a turn on for me. If I need more smut from this particular author then I'll stick to a novella, not a book bundle or novel. This was just pure filthy fun that was meant to titillate and not much else, though it certainly tried to be more than that. I hate not finishing books but life is too short and I have other books to read and a reality to escape from. Happy reading!

Thank goodness I didn't spend money on this but borrowed it from Kindle Unlimited. All the 5-star reviews are beyond me. The writing was juvenile, the story line ridiculous, the characters unlikeable. Taking the Fall wasn't worth the price. 1 way too cheddar star.

Okay finis

I finished it and the author can write great stories of she just toned down the intimate scenes. personal opinion alert. I know I am a minority. But it's like two books in one. Part hot Romance, part porno. Just not my cuppa. And I read it all so it wasnt awful. The epilogues were great. Loved the playfulness of them and it was great to see the kids and how their relationships are going.

~ 4.5 Stars ~

Taking the Fall Series has just about anything and everything you could ask for. It's packed with strong alphas, virgins and insane love. I'm so happy that you not only get the series all bundled up into one but we get Viktor's story as an amazing bonus. This series spans over two generations, giving us the love of the characters that we first meet and then getting their children's stories as well.

Taking the Fall is the first book in the series where we are introduced to Carter and Cherry, and Saint and Jeanette. This story focuses on Carter and Cherry mostly. Carter has been in love with Cherry the moment he locked eyes on her. Danger and circumstances around that put Carter in jail, where he spends his time planning his life with Cherry. She just doesn't know it and she's been trying to move on from the man who made her think he wanted nothing with her. He's probably the biggest alpha in this series. Always telling Cherry what's going to happen and she's going to do it and love it. It works for them he has a pretty dirty mouth on him that will make you get a bit flushed. These two are fun because in the end, every breath Cater takes is for Cherry.

Falling In is Saint and Jeannette's story. We fell in love with them in book one and were dying for their story. Jeannette is super head strong and feisty for the most part but her past has done a bit of damage on her and she hasn't fully healed from it yet.

Saint comes along and pushes her boundaries and forces her to accept his love. I really liked him. He's full on alpha with probably the biggest soft spot ever. His terms of endearment and the fact that he has no problem worshiping her in public makes him probably one of the most likable heroes I've read in a while. He loves her crazy and fully embraces everything that she is and makes sure she knows it.

Fall Into Place is super cute. It focuses on the four main character's children. Mary is the only daughter and one of the twins from Carter and Cherry and Anthony is the son of Saint and Jeannette. These two have been in love with each other since they were babies and Anthony wants nothing more than to marry Mary. Both are virgins and Anthony is saving himself for marriage. On a whim, Mary finally agrees to marry him and then elope in Vegas.

This one was super sweet and cute. It's two people who were essentially born to love each other. They are completely made for each other and work in perfect harmony. Anthony has a bit of his Dad's personality traits. He's somewhat of an alpha but just like his Dad, he wants to shout out his love for Mary and let everyone know how much he loves and worships her.

This story also follows Samuel and Nika. Samuel is the other twin from Cater and Cherry and Nika is the daughter of Viktor, who we meet in the first book. What I liked about their story was there was a bit more drama. Samuel is hired to pick up Nika's bounty. She's feisty and is so much like her Dad. She swears in Russian and can land a punch just as hard as he can. While she can handle her own, she melts to Samuel and instantly knows she wants to be with him. Their story is quick and over the top, just like everyone in this series.

The Final Fall is the story that we've been waiting for. It gives us the background on Viktor and the woman he loves. Viktor is that tall, dark and mysterious alpha that you can't help but love and want to know more about. The moment he locked eyes on London, he knew she was his but he didn't think he would ever be able to keep her. So he follows her around but never talking to her. When she goes missing, he loses his mind and hunts her down. The second he finds her, she's not going anywhere with out him. He is never letting her out of his sight.

What I liked about this one was how London could make Viktor's rough exterior go soft with just one look. She has him wrapped around her finger and I just loved watching the way he would melt for her.

Overall, I really enjoyed Taking the Fall Series. It's fun and sweet with just the right amount of alphas, virgins and drama. If you are looking for an escape into over the top love and men who worship and adore their women, this this is the series for you!

I have read all of the books in these series separately. But I was absolutely stoked that they have been bundled into this beautiful collection. I loved this series so much that I read all the stories in this book again. But for the best reading experience, since this is now the full complete series, I read them in the following order :
1. TAKING THE FALL (Carter & Layla)
2. FALLING IN (Saint & Jeanette)
3. THE FINAL FALL (Viktor & London)
4. FALL INTO PLACE ( Anthony & Mary and Samuel & Nika)

TAKING THE FALL was where it all started. Carter had a personal mission against the man who killed his family. But he didn't expect to fall in love at first sight with his only daughter, Layla, despite her age. He was incarcerated after saving her life and he had to stay away. Eight years later, he came back to finally devote his life to loving her.

I loved Carter and Layla, a.k.a. Cherry. Theirs was a story filled with longing, some suspense and angst, and a lot of hot romance! Carter was a dream guy! His love letters to Cherry, which were included as a bonus in this book, were so beautiful and made me giddy.

FALLING IN was the story of Saint and Jeanette, who were best friends and partners in crime with Carter and Jeanette, respectively. Saint's job while Carter was locked up was to secretly look after and monitor Layla, but the sassy and gorgeous Jeanette caught his attention. She was running away from a dangerous past too and it became his personal mission to make sure that she runs no more and trusts him with her life.

I loved Saint and Jeanette. Saint was a totally cool guy who worshipped Jeanette and all of her quirky little moods. Their chemistry was off the charts and I loved their endearment for each other.

THE FINAL FALL is Viktor and London's love story. Viktor was the most dangerous and highly paid Russian hitman who helped Saint and Carter with their missions. While on breaks from his job as The Fixer, he had been secretly stalking the preacher's daughter, London, for one year until he finally couldn't take it anymore when she went missing. London finally met her mystery man face to face after luring him to follow her.

I loved Viktor's fierce obsession for London. I'm so happy he became a better man because of his Angel and that he got his own happily ever after!

FALL INTO PLACE has two exciting love stories involving Carter, Saint, and Viktor's children. Anthony and Mary had been best friends and childhood sweethearts. On their twenty-first birthday, they decided to elope and get hitched at Vegas. On their way there, Anthony and his best friend Samuel received a big client call for their bounty hunting business. But this didn't deter him from prioritizing Mary and he was prepared to face her formidable father, Carter, and both their nosey families.

As Mary's twin brother and Tony's best friend, it was out of the question that he should accompany them both for their Vegas wedding. When they got a client call , he wasn't expecting that he'll also find The One. He fell in love at first sight with Nika, who escaped from his overly protective dad. She didn't expect that her sense of adventure would lead her to an adorable caveman who literally and figuratively chained her to him forever. He didn't care that she was the formidable Viktor Kozar's daughter.

The two virgin couples got married in Vegas and went home for Thanksgiving, reuniting all the families in this series.

TAKING THE FALL : THE FULL COMPLETE SERIES was an absolutely exciting, sweet, fun, and super hot read! I loved all the characters. The heroes in this series were all fiercely passionate and protective alpha males and their heroines were all feisty ladies who knew how to tame their men. This will always be one of my all-time favorite series.

I have read an advanced copy of this book bundle and this is a fair and honest review and recommendation voluntarily shared.

I have already read all the books in this boxed set. This was the first book I read, that popped my AR cherry and started my addiction. Absolutely love Carter and Layla aka Cherry. Carter meets Cherry when he’s one of her dads bodyguards. He’s automatically smitten with her. He ends up protecting her from her dad and some of his men. He ends up spending 8 years in prison to protect her. Once he gets out, he goes straight to her and gets what’s his. These 2 cannot keep their hands off each other and I love it.

Saint aka Daddy and Jeanette aka Mama, they meet because Saint is watching Cherry for Carter. These two have a ton of chemistry and I love it. They are both wild as hell.

Anthony and Mary, Anthony is Saint and Jeanette’s only son and Mary is Carter and Cherry’s only daughter. These two were inseparable since birth and they are so in love. They are both virgins waiting for their wedding night....well he’s making them wait, but she keeps trying to tempt him. They go to Vegas with her twin brother and get married.

Samuel and Nika, he’s one of Carter and Cherry’s sons aka Mary’s twin brother. Nika’s Victor (the Russian hitman’s only child).....yeah, Samuel’s bat shit crazy. These two were a lot of fun because they were so explosive together and she kept climbing him like a damn tree. Samuel and Anthony are bounty hunters and she came up for a reward...there in starts their fun.

Viktor and London. This is my Viktor’s story, the quiet but endearing hitman. Yeah, I know that doesn’t go together....but that’s exactly what he is. These two are relationship goals and I am definitely calling dibs. I mean he built her a house and moved her grandparents house to the land too...because she loves her grandparents house....panties are melting everywhere, including mine. So I call dibs now. These two are just so damn sweet, they really are relationship goals. I am so glad Viktor got a story and I adored it.
