The best way I could describe it is that it's the kind of book where you eat the meat but then spit out the bones. There were some good stories, don't get me wrong, but this wasn't a very fattened animal if you get what I mean.
A collection of short stories. Part of the curriculum for my daughter's homeschooling. This offers a nice selection of short stories, some of which I was already familiar with (and glad my daughter is getting a chance to read!) and some that were new to me.
Part of the required reading for Challenge B. It was a nice collection of short stories, along with some thoughtful questions to contemplate after reading.
A great collection of classic short stories, along with tips for observation and exercises for writing. We enjoyed discussing these stories as a class, and it was a wonderful introduction to a lot of Classics authors!
