This may be the worst cookbook and Keto book I’ve ever read. The Keto portion seems like a cut and paste containing very basic information that is available everywhere. The Instant Pt portion is likewise very basic and contains the same type of information that is included with the purchase of the pot, but the reason this book gets only 1star is the gross inaccuracies of the recipes!
Many contain CORN. For those of you who may not know, corn is not ever something to have on the Ketogenic way of eating. There are other ingredients that are not Keto. Another example of issues with recipes is serving size! There is a problem with the servings listed and the amount of food listed. This makes it impossible to figure macros unless you redo the recipe completely. Frankly, if I wanted to do that I wouldn’t have purchased the cookbook in the first place!
It provides an overview of the Keto diet, a whole chapter about the instant pot and a good variety of recipes. I have tried some of the recipes and I will definitely try more! This great cookbook also contains a 14-day meal plan for rapid fat loss that helps a lot if you aim to lose weight. I really liked this book. It was exactly what I was looking for. Thank the author!
This book has wonderful recipes and easy to make but unfortunately for me as a beginner there are no macros counts., fats protein, or carbs. Some of the explanations are confusing from what I am learning but when I can understand more I will use the recipes in the book. I just wish there were some caloric type counts.
Just learning about Keto lifestyle. This book is very basic. There is NOT in depth information here, but there are a few recipes that look really good and not too difficult to prepare. I haven’t tried any of the recipes yet, but I’ve bookmarked quite a few.
