Starling Mitchell likes her quiet little life. Aside from the constant barrage of bad (like, really bad) blind dates, she has it all together. A fulfilling job, good friends and a sister she loves dearly. But when she’s attacked on her way home late one night, everything changes, and she topples into a world she never knew existed. A world of nightwalkers and lust. A world where a woman can command the love and attention of not just one toe-curlingly sexy guy, but four of them. A world that is as seductive as it is deadly…
So what's a girl have to do to finally get to read a good book, huh? Because let me tell you, this is already the second book today that I've dropped. And you might think that something is wrong with me but honey, when you read this book you'll definitely agree with me that it's all this authors fault. So let me tell you why I simply couldn't read more than a few chapters of this horrible book. The main reason is the heroine. She thinks of herself the type of person that considers all her options and danger before jumping into a situation but what dowe get when she's actually in danger? Total TSL character with no brain. She sees her saviour beat the guys that wanted to rape her, then she slaps the hero, orders him to call her sister and tell her she's not to blame for her death (which in my opinion she partially is) and on top of that blames and chides him for killing one of those bastards in self defense and doing all the potential victims a favour. I mean, ARE YOU FOR FUCKING REAL???!!!
So it's safe to say I will not be reading any of this nonsense any longer! I'm done with this book.
I was looking for a good vampire story and somehow found this reverse harem. Now I'm a newbie to the RH realm and haven't read very many but I've been trying to get hip like my girl Alex.
Her Vampire Harem was an interesting plot. You have Sonja who is a 350 year old vampire. Supposedly the strongest and baddest bitch of the vampire species these days. She's not afraid of anything or anyone really. Her "sister" Layla was turned and she's been on the hunt trying to find the people who took her, get her back and then kill those people.
She meets Kael in a bar where she's trying to drown herself in Bulbous, a vampire drink that actually gets vampires drunk. They barely speak before going to an alley and doing the nasty. She gets jumped by strangers after and he and his friend Milo save her. There are these law enforcement people called Lawkeepers that are essentially bio-enhanced humans who match the strength of vampires and can take them down in a one on one fight. Vampires also have weaknesses like blessed silver and sunlight.
Sonja wasn't too interested in Kael at first but a series of events later and she ends up meeting Milo and Gage and then there is lots and lots of sex between them even though they're supposed to be enemies they can't help their attraction.
So a few things, this is very well written and the sex scenes are mostly steamy. I say mostly steamy because some of them were simply unbelievable for me. For one, as skilled in bed as Sonja is, as a vampire I expected her to bite during sex and she didn't do that at all even though bites cause amazing pleasure -- it was even mentioned but it never happened. The only time she bit anyone was bad guys to get information. Secondly, there's one scene where she's somehow sucking on two dicks at once and I'm sorry, no matter how supernatural you are, unless your jaw unhinged like a snake there's no way you're able to do this and have it be pleasurable for the men. Lastly, there were other sex scenes when she had two men inside her but the angles at which it was described had me imagining one dick at a 90 degree angle and that sounds uncomfortable for all involved.
Another thing I didn't like was as powerful she was, she really couldn't take down anyone without help. She talked a good game but I never saw her do anything except get burnt a lot by blessed silver.
Anyway, if you're feeling frisky and want to suspend a lot of your beliefs, this is a fun romp in the sheets if you can keep from laughing at certain parts.

If you want something that barely scratches the surface of character development and is basically just cheap porn with a small plot line, then here you go. If, like me, you like a little depth to your stories, read at your own risk.

Starling is your average woman trying to find a compatible man to spend sometime with unfortunately her luck in that department is at ground zero. To make things worse after escaping the blind date from over inflated ego she finds herself in the ugly situation of attempted assault. Just when she is cursing herself at her lousy luck she is saved from an attack by a vampire rescuer.
While totally terrified about what almost happened to her she is also both mesmerized and uncertain of her would be rescuer. She decides to do some research and find out all she can about her rescuer. As she and her sister Melanie try to setup a plan to try and lure her rescuer back to her she finds herself with more vampires than she bargained for.
Starling is whisked away to an underground club by Maddox where she is reintroduced to Jaeger her rescuer and she meets Beckham and Cooper the rest of the vampire quartet. Starling is having a hard time processing that she is equally attracted to all of the men in slightly different ways and that they are all cool with her liking all of them.
Just as Starling is beginning to think that maybe being with all of them wouldn’t be such a bad thing, she is threatened by a vampire hunter. Once she tells the guys what’s going on the want her back with them so they can protect her.
The story moves at a pretty quick pace, Starling goes from discovery, acceptance and lets all vampire up pretty quickly. Her sister is also on board with nary a blink. We get a little bit of back-story on the guys. With the exception of Starling who we get a little more info on the characters don’t have much depth to them. Most of this quintet is a bit superficial. The bad guy is a little over the top, but hey he’s a bad guy right. So if you are looking for some light reading with a female lead that is thankfully not whiny and has some spunk with some sexy male counterparts then you have found the book for you.
I am bound and determined to get through all this authors books, but not sure why now. I really liked the first duet I read from her... I think it was Her Immortal Harem, but since then I have been pretty disappointed. All the books are the same formula along with all the same issues. We have an mc that is either a librarian or a teacher, 3 or 4 perfect paranormal guys and a evil guy or girl out to kill the mc. It never varies and while in itself, it could be a decent formula, unfortunately it's not done that way. It's way too formula. Always the exact same. Girl meets guys and they all fall madly in love in about 5 minutes with no real reason provided. It just is. This is one of the first flaws in these stories. There should be another third of a book here with these people getting to know each other much better and us getting to see along with the characters what makes them all fall in love. We don't get that. It's like they meet and the guys decide immediately that she's the one with no rhyme or reason and for 5 minutes she wants to run away, then 5 minutes later she decides she is madly in love and she is ready to take on the evil person to protect them. The overall story moves just way too fast. Like here she spends a couple sentences telling us how they trained her to fight. Even better would have been to show us, preferably before they all fell in love. Give us some story and let us fall in love with the characters. We don't get that in any way. Then the fight with the bad guy who has no depth whatsoever is over and done with quickly, then the story is done. No Epilogue. It just ends abruptly. This happens in every one of her books I have read and I'm about 3/4 through them. Oh and all her characters act like they are spoiled teens. Even the hundreds year olds. Over all the stories lack maturity in the characters and the plot development.
Starling was a simple teacher that was trapped in bad dates because of her sister. She was not expecting that one bad date would lead to her finding out paranormal creatures existed and that 4 of those wanted her for themselves.
I won't talk much about the plot because it's not overly complicated, also this book is not that long and reading finishing it does not represent a problem in my opinion. What I will talk about is the fact that Starling lacks something as a character, when in the case of the males, they were well-developed and each has details that strongly differentiated one from another.
The world building was simple and didn't need much work because the story didn't center on the world, it centered on the characters. What I still want to know, even though I read it, how that Bald Guy managed to survive so many freaking years and never been detected. And I have to give it to the author for her originality with the aloe vera thing
It was a good story. It was a quick and fun read for me. It didn't took me much time at all to get through this book and enjoy it. Now I just wish the sister can find a story in this paranormal world too.

3.5 stars I'm somewhat split with regards to this book. The first half was great fun, lots of funny, laugh-out-loud-moments with plenty of steam building and I'd have happily rated it 4 stars. As a big-time Buffy fan back in the day I also found the reversal of the hunter/hunted roles interesting. The second half not so much fun. I kept thinking "stupid, silly little girl", pretty much on a loop. Just as bad was the suggestion that one night of training suddenly had her ready to take on guys, hunters who had not only been training, but doing this for ages. yeah, right! I guess, there's a reason why I usually stay away from Vamp-stories (if there's one in a harem OK, any more than that not so much...)
This book was non stop from the beginning. Starling was your average woman. She had bad luck with men. She has been on some blind dates from hell. The night she's out with a blind date, Starling decides to leave. She is saved from two men who wish her harm. See what happens when she meets Jeagear, Cooper, Beckhem, and Maddox. Her world will never be the same. Find out what happens when they are confronted by an old enemy. This is a well told story from the first page to the ending. This book won't disappoint you especially if you like woman who can kick ads and take names as she does it.

When Maddox, another vampire, meets her that night to take her to see Jaeger, she meets Beckam and Cooper too. All 4 vampires want her. When the vampire hunters show up, they will protect her , but who will protect her sister ? Will she stay with them ?
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Starling is introduced to the paranormal world after she is rescued by a stranger, that leaves her seeking knowledge on vampires. But her quest for knowledge puts her in more danger than she ever expected, hunters are now aware of her. Her exposure to the supernatural realm presents more questions than answers, and her concept of love and relationships. Will Star and her vampire men be able to defeat these hunters and survive the onslaught?
Epic, I felt like Star during this book, inquisitive!

Starling’s four Vampires are not only drool worthy but good guys that want to take care of her. I wish the book had been longer so I could continue to enjoy them. Hopefully, there will be a book with her sister Melanie and we get to visit them again. I really enjoyed revisiting Savannah’s world from her Her Demon Harem books. I definitely recommend this book to Vampire and RH lovers.
Reverse harems are very popular now and I enjoy them. This one moves at a quick pace with a young woman who discovers vampires exist and finds herself with her own little group of vampires that want her with them. Each vampire has his own attractions and you definitely can understand her happiness at finding all these men after so much bad luck with relationships. There is some danger but they are determined to keep her safe. I would like to read more about these characters. I am hoping we will see her sister find happiness too.
This story took me completely by surprise, and I really enjoyed reading it. The story happens over a very quick timeline, and I was honestly surprised with how understanding the main female character is about learning about vampires. It's an interesting take on vampires, and I look forward to reading more from this author.
Please note that I did receive an ARC, and the opinions expressed in this review are my own.
While liked this better than Her Demon Harem, I can't help but feel that Skye's RH books lack something. I always feel a bit bored and dissatisfied with them when I finish. I can't quite put my finger get on it but her RH just doesn't click with me. Her MCs feel liked cardboard cutouts and I never feel draw to the men. Otherwise though, I'd say this is a pretty good book. It's heavy on the sex and light on the plot but if that's what you're looking for it's not bad.
I received a copy of this book from Booksprout and I voluntarily leave my review. I love Savannah Skye’s books and this one is no exception and I love Reverse Harem books cause what women wouldn’t want 4 or more sexy vampires to do everything that u want. The only problem I have is the character Starling she needs to toughen up a bit. But she has 4 sexy vampire males who want to cherish and protect. I really enjoyed this read and I recommend it to anyone that loves the paranormal / vampires.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. What a great book. I just loved it. She is shocked at first but then confused. Then a lot of suspense happens and in between are her very hot alpha vampires. Hot and steamy and what a place to be in. It is mysterious, suspenseful, exciting, hot, fun and so much more. I highly recommend it. I enjoyed it lots and it is one I will be reading again.
My main issue with this is the corny Insta love and rushed plot. I just sort felt like the author wanted to be done with the story before it even began. Some of the scenes were contrived and the character relationships were under developed. I could see the potential for a really great plot there, but the story was so rushed it just really had no chance to reach that potential.
Could have used some editing, and a little more struggle. It felt too easy and simple to be real most of the time, especially how “sure” she was about them after a day or two, without enough background to back it up. I also didn’t love how we skipped segments of time without much to show/explain it.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Vampire love what could be better than that nothing. I love vampire books and this one by Savannah Skye blew me away. You will love this hot sexy harem tale. Go grab it now.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Starling and her four hot toe curling sexy vampires have a steamy relationship together. There are elements of mystery, suspense, an exciting good plot with strong characters. An enjoyable story to read.
This is a fun light read. even tho it's a fun read it will have your attention right from the start until the last page. So if you want a fun read I would definitely recommend this book. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
I love the fast paces of this book never a dull second the guys are alluring (where can I get me some). The MC is no wilting flower but not a bitch . there is an easy balance to her.
It seems like this story missed a major piece of the storyline somewhere and the main character went from meeting to soul mates in 2-3 days. I like the idea of the book, but a little more story would have been nice.
Absolutely love this author! I’ve enjoyed every book I’ve read and I’m eager to see what else she has in store for her readers! This book was no exception, it captured me from the very first page and I love her characters and their dynamic and the HEA!
Absolutely adored this book, would’ve read it in one sitting except my need for sleep won. My only wish is that there was more of the story. I loved Star and her men and her sister. Any chance of a follow up book featuring Mel? Would highly recommend!
This was a short sweet vamp romance. I loved the high octane story. It’s an insta love so if that’s not your thing, read something else. Can’t wait to read the other stories by this author.
