Authoritative and accessible, Financial Intelligence for IT Professionals empowers you to "talk numbers" confidently with your boss, colleagues, and direct reports -- and understand how the financials affect your part of the business.
Lots of tap dancing around financial issues, but not a lot of delving into said issues. Apart from the definitions, I don't know that this provided a lot of insight into the world of finance.
A really comprehensible and down to earth book that explains how company balance sheets and income statements work and the things to look out for in them. Should make it a must learn course for everyone in university.
The author is able to explain complicated numbers & their purpose within financial statements in a simple way. Would be a good book to start if one has little/no knowledge in financial analysis.
