This was such a beautiful story, a story for second chances which is one of my favourite troupes, this is the last Delaney son Conor’s story who has loved Shelby since fourth grade they made promises in an old house many summers ago promises that were broken, but has Selkie folklore stepped in and seen that they are reunited?
Conor was devastated when the love of his life Shelby never turned up two years ago for their promised meeting, heartbroken he throw himself into work aiming for promotion in the Californian law enforcement living at the family Hotel to save money to put a deposit on the house that means so much to him. So when Shelby turns up as the new chef at the hotel’s restaurant Conor’s emotions are thrown into turmoil as he learns that Shelby is now a single mum, but has he ever truly stopped loving her?
Shelby had always dreamed of being a top chef and Conor had encouraged and supported her and nothing was going to stop her from coming back to him after she had finished her learning but life doesn’t always go to plan and falling pregnant was not in her plans, but when life throws curve balls you do what you must and her two year old son Benjamin is everything to her, so her she is back at Sandpiper Beach and those feelings that she had for Conor are all coming back as they get closer and forgiveness is certain with love.
I loved this series and I really enjoyed Conor and Shelby’s story, really who doesn’t deserve a second chance especially when both people never stopped loving each other yes there is a lot of water under the bridge in the years spent apart, but lets look to the future put the past behind and love the way they should, be happy and move forward. Thank you MS Marshall for another fabulous story and that Selkie folklore does wonders for finding love, you certainly have a fabulous way to bring characters to life, and I highly recommend this one to anyone who loves a good romance that is sure to leave you a happy reader.

4 1/2 STARS!
Sweet, sassy and heartfelt! With the third book in The Delaneys of Sandpiper Beach series, we get to enjoy Conor’s story. He’s a guy that was let down one too many times and now he’s closed himself off so he doesn’t get hurt again. Shelby is a very complex character. She’s a good person at heart, but man was she hard to like. I know she had reasons for the things she did, but she selfishly only thought of herself one too many times for my liking. The overall plot was a fun read, and I enjoyed the story very much.

Reunited with the Sheriff is an emotional, true to life romance, a second chance to rekindle a love that has gone through some very rough, hurtful things. Just because there is the possibility of a second chance doesn’t mean that the past hurts are forgotten. They may fade over time and with a good solid love anything is possible… but the past cannot be erased. Sometimes we have to deal with our choices, and both Shelby and Conor made choices that brought them to this place, this time and this chance to get it right. It would be so easy and convenient to lay blame on either one, but the truth is they both made mistakes, choices and held back as well as pushed forward. The reality becomes can Conor get beyond the deep hurt that Shelby handed him when she didn’t meet with him on that agreed date… and the reason she couldn’t.
This is a story with deep undertones, the reality of choices made and the regrets for past actions. I don’t think you can read Shelby and Conor’s story without becoming emotional, angry even at times. Watching them work through so much became a journey with friends, one that I enjoyed very much.
If you love a good romance that makes you feel, that has more than a touch of real life experiences and love watching two people who are right for each other rediscover what truly matters, then Reunited with the Sheriff is a story you’ll want to pick up. This entire series is an enjoyable, emotional journey and I’d highly recommend every story in The Delaneys of Sandpiper Beach series to any Contemporary Romance reader who enjoys a good romance, believable situations, likable characters and a lively crew of secondary characters to bring it all to life.

This is the third book of the The Delaneys of Sandpiper Beach trilogy and Daniel and Mark Delaney's brother Conor finally gets his own story. Conor is a sheriff and two years ago he experienced the rejection of the girl he had loved since fourth grade. Now Shelby Brooke has returned to work as a chef in his family's restaurant and she wants to make amends. Conor may be a tough lawman but his heart is still bruised; he may be a good guy but his wounded pride won't allow her back in. There's just so much understanding that one person should be expected to extend!
I enjoyed getting to know Conor Delaney and I could understand his reluctance to let his guard down. The fact that Shelby wasn't alone when she returned just added insult to injury because her two year old son was a constant reminder of the life she had shared with another man!
Author Lynne Marshall has created characters that we all can relate to and, after reading these three books, I feel like the Delaneys could be neighbors down the street. They work together, they respect each other and they genuinely love each other. And the Irish legend of the selkie (seal) that Padraig shared with his three grandsons plays a big part in all three books. It is definitely worth checking into!!
Reunited with the Sheriff is a great way to conclude this trilogy and I heartily recommend it.

Reunited with the Sheriff is the third book in Lynne Marshall’s: The Delaney’s of Sandpiper Beach series. My heart went out to Connor as I read the heartbreak he endured when the love of his life, Shelby didn’t connect with him on an agreed upon date. It also continued to break as he fixated himself on a house he’d intended to purchase for them.
When reading romance, there’s always a reason why a story unfolds the way it does and Ms. Marshall didn’t disappoint as she shared with us why Shelby wasn’t able to meet Connor.
I cried for Shelby as I read her story and I wanted to smack Connor for taking such a long time to understand and accept Shelby’s situation.
Second chance romance tropes are one of my favorites to read and Connor’s and Shelby’s story just sucked me right in.
I also loved seeing past characters from the previous two stories in the series. All around this was a fabulous book and series.

Conor Delaney and Shelby Brookes were high school sweethearts. When both were trying to make their careers they made a pact that no matter where they were they would meet at the Beacham House on a certain date. Promises made not matter the distance only problem is that when the day comes Shelby cant come as she is pregnant and feels a fool. No not end of story, she needs to come home so gets a job as chef at the Delaney hotel and of course meets Conor. Forgiving he isn't and ashamed she is but true love can override anything. The only problem is Shelby is still searching for what she thinks she wants, thinking she needs something else she breaks Conor's heart a second time as he is already in love with her son. In true Ms Marshall style she brings us a fantastic story of love and how sometimes destiny is there and nothing changes it. Shelby realizes that Sandpiper beach , Beacham House and Conor Delaney are what she has been searching for all this time. Ms. Marshall always writes A wonderful story.

Conor is the quintessential hero, mature, unselfish and supportive of Shelby in their youth. His reluctance in the present is well written and believable, as well as the gradual breaking down of his defenses.
The author does a great job showing how these two people, who were childhood friends before becoming lovers, still care and have feelings for each other despite the hurt and mistrust. There’s no way to erase the past, but feelings are renewed as the couple, especially Shelby, learn from experience and mistakes.
Conor and Benjamin gradual bonding was heart-warming – I loved watching the big, strong man cuddling the toddler. I also enjoyed revisiting Sandpiper Beach and the Delaneys and all the delicious things Shelby cooked.

Lynn Marshall does it again and gives us readers a great story in "Reunited with the Sheriff (The Delany's of Sandpiper Beach) Book ." What happens when 3 brothers out on the water see a pod of Orca surrounding a seal? Well, they rescue it of course. Their Grandpa tells them they rescued a Selkie and that she is giving them good luck. This is Conor and Shelby's story. Childhood friends turn teenage sweethearts when life pulls them away from each other. They vow to meet again in four years but when Shelby finds out she is pregnant she calls to tell Conor she is not coming. Fast forward two years and Shelby is back at home and was hired as a sous chef in Conor's family hotel. This book was so good that once I picked it up I didn't put it down.

She was going away to pursue her dreams as a sous-chef in New York, knowing that it could lead to an illustrious career. It was Shelby’s biggest dream to become a chef. It is now six years later. Not only has she broken Conor's heart, she is back in their hometown of Sandpiper Beach, with a toddler in tow. However, she doesn’t have forever in mind. Or does she?
What a sweet romance! While it is patently obvious to understand Shelby's actions, it is equally difficult to deal with Conor's pain. This is an excellent read from the Delaneys of Sandpiper Beach trilogy.

It is about a second chance at love but it is more realistic than most books in that it handles the situation as hurt and willing to try again but not forgotten rather than the usual we will pretend it never happened and this is what made this story oh so special. Conor needs to protect himself he can't allow Shelby to destroy him all over again but there is definitely something there between them. This was a fantastic book to finalise The Delany's trilogy and I highly recommend the entire series

This book was a huge disappointment.
If you're looking for a nice romance that you can settle in for a while to forget about everything...try looking somewhere else. This had a typical Harlequin plot with plain storytelling. The two main characters did not have any chemistry at all.
I don't recommend this book for anyone. I would have to give this a PG-13 rating for sexually explicit content.

Another winning book for Lynne Marshall! A perfect addition to this series. An absolutely tug-at-your-heart book. Add a cute little boy to the mix and how can you lose?! The ending was superb and left me with the biggest smile and chuckling at the end. A must read! Book gifted to me.

Conor Delaney had waited six years, seven months and nearly three weeks. What would take her that long to come back and be with him?
What had happened to the family restaurant’s usual menu cause there was usually pot roast, meat loaf and poached salmon on the menu however now he was seeing beef tenderloin steaks on potato galettes with mustard sauce and many other things that he was unfamiliar with.
Rita the usual chef was retiring and who had replaced her was a shock.
Shelby Lyn Brooks that gal that had broken, ripped out, stepped on his heart. She sure could cook but now what?
Lynne Marshall got me hooked to this story from start to finish. Please relax and take time to read it and I promise you won’t be disappointed.

This is Book 3 of the Delaneys of Sandpiper Beach. Conor is the Sheriff and he’s loved Shelby since 4th grade. Then she broke his heart by leaving and not coming back for him. Now she’s finally back in town as the new chef at his family’s restaurant. Can he forget that he wasn’t enough for her? This is a very good story that has shows how two people can have different things happen in their lives, but they can also learn from what happened in their past. It grabs your heart from the first page through to the end. It’s an emotional book but well worth the heartache. Loved reading it and now I’m off to get the first two books in the series. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book that I received from Netgalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The theme of Reunited with the Sheriff endeared to me. Who doesn't deserve a second chance? The moment I met Conor and Shelby I knew I'd be in love with these two even before I reached the end. Lynne Marshall doesn't disappoint. Not only does she create a realistically portrayed world for her amazing characters, but that extra touch of raw emotional undertone just made me root for Conor and Shelby to get their happily ever after already. No one forgets the past and neither does Connor Delaney. He remembers the day Shelby never showed up to him. Now she's back and working for his family, so it's hard not to notice her. But the truth had never been on his side when Shelby left, but now she wants to make things right. Could he risk his heart once again?

Third book in the series which means I have the first two to read too. I really enjoyed this one. They have been friends since childhood. They had something together but she wanted something else more. They agree to meet years later if both still single. She broke his heart for a reason. He is hurt badly by what she did. And there is so much more going on. It is exciting, fun, very emotional, suspenseful and so much more. I highly recommend it. I was given a review copy by booksprout and voluntarily review it.

Reunited With The Sheriff is The Delaneys Of Sandpiper Beach by Lynne Marshall. This is the last of three brothers in the series. All were good books. Conor Delaney is a police officer. Six years ago Conor and Shelby Brookes promised they would meet two years ago on the beach to reunite. Shelby didn't show up. Shelby had gone away for her career, to be a chef. When she showed up she had a two year old son. Now Conor is having a hard time trusting her. The spark is still there. Shelby brings the Delaney Restaurant to a new high in food taste. A good book

3.5 stars. This was a very enjoyable book about a big second chance for Shelby. She and Conor had a pact to meet back up after following their dreams. Shelby couldn’t make it now she is back home working for his family’s hotel, was out of a job and a surprise 2 year old son. She never stopped loving Conor but he was pretty devastated and. Is having difficulty trusting her again. So what’s it going to take to get them back together?

A second chances romance about two people who keep planning to commit to be together, but life get in the way. Shelby goes to NY to pursue her culinary dreams and she plans to meet up with Conner in Sandpiper 4 years later, but after she ends a relationship she realizes she is pregnant and can't tell Conner. She moves back home 3 years later to work in his family restaurant and he discovers the truth, but he has trouble forgiving and moving forward with her.

This book is one of those hidden gems in my opinion. I was expecting a book where they see each other and hit it off right away. With a great deal of hot steamy sexy times. That the hero was into having control. Well, he is but not the way I thought. What I got was something more. They have great chemistry and attraction.

An engaging story about second chances. Together in high school, meeting up after secondary school and promise to meet again four years later, what could go wrong? Life. Things happen and promises are broken. Deputy sheriff and chef finally connect after her return to their hometown, both a bit older and hopefully a bit wiser. Do they get together? You'll have to read it, but it will be worth your while. Lessons can be learned.

I really enjoyed this romance. I received it for free and I voluntarily chose to review this. I've given this a 4.5* rating. This is not for the under 18 readers. I really felt for the hero but he was a little bit of a enabler telling her she could go for her dream and the heroine had it her way but wondered why she was all alone. It took a bit for each of them to figure this all out. For smart people, you just wonder. Read this to find out.
