Jason Enger is a private investigator who is working with the FBI to expose an international smuggling ring in Silver Strike, Montana. While he and the FBI try to discover who the mastermind is behind the smuggling operation he becomes involved with Isabel Connor who is working at the mansion he has been sent to keep an eye on. Eventually they both become trapped by a snowstorm at the mansion with two thieves who are trying to kill them and who are looking for something valuable...
This was a lively story with non-stop action as the bad guys kept searching for Jason and Isabel. The book had more suspense than romance, but I didn't mind.
A fun and exciting read with a wintry setting.

Bland Land.
The premise was interesting and so I give full credit for that, but otherwise the story failed to deliver. Maybe it's because the writing was so choppy or because the characters are constantly on the move, but this failed to communicate a sense of urgency to me that a "trapped in a remote location because of snowstorm" plot should have.
Just got bored, moving on.

My review today is on the Love Inspired Suspense, Hidden Away. I'm always thrilled to get one of Sharon's books in the mail. She has a special way of writing Suspense stories. This one is no exception. It is well written, action pack, and full of twists. I know you are going to love it. Faith is interwoven though out the story like a fine tapestry.
Isabel Connor is getting a mansion ready for the residents.It's a seasonal home for a couple and they will be arriving soon. She brings flowers, groceries, and cleans up any thing out of order. When she arrived today something seems off. A man comes to the door telling her there is a gas leak up the road. She refuses to let him in or to leave. As she tries to call her boss she is attacked. A man with a knife claiming she and her partner were trying to horn in on the heist. She breaks away and hides.
Undercover Private Detective Jason Enger is in surveillance on a a secluded mansion. He has been working with the FBI on a smuggling ring for months. Is this woman who just arrived an innocent hired worker or is she involved with the smuggling ring? He has a gut feeling something is wrong. He looks in the back window and sees signs of a struggle. He lets himself into the house. He soon finds that Isobel is in danger. How can he help her without blowing his cover?

Jason Enger is a private investigator who is assisting the FBI in uncovering a smuggling ring.
This book is filled with non stop action and suspense which takes place during the cold winter in Silver Strike, Montana. I loved the rugged mountain setting which the author did a great job describing.
Constantly trying to survive while their lives are in perilous danger the couple learns to trust each other and wonder if they could have a future together.
With lots of page turning action, a great location, varied and interesting characters and a faith message make this a not to miss book.

What starts out as a normal set up day, quickly morphs into a run for her life. Isabel finds herself in one dangerous situation after another. Will she even survive? Throw in kidnapping, gun shots, a mole in the FBI and you have the makings of a story you won’t soon forget!

This book is a fast paced read from beginning to end. The author had me right there with the characters, wondering when they were finally going to be anle to rest from all the running. The characters themselves are well developed. I really felt for the heroine and the message of God's redemption rings trues.

Lots of excitement from start to finish. Just don't know how two people can find they fell in love with each other when they were always on the run.
