Why Do Camels Have Long Eyelashes? is a very informative book. While reading this book I, at the age of 22 learned a few things. This book will teach kids the reasons why some animals look or do the things that they do. It asks questions to give opportunities for the students to engage. This book can really start a discussion in the classroom. I love the illustrations, for an informative book the illustrations are very enjoyable.

Thank you to My First Reading Club for this copy I read for review. All opinions are my own. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Why Do Camels Have Long Eyelashes by Jennifer Strand. This quick read was both funny enough to keep little readers engaged while providing fun filled facts for older readers. Fun illustrations by TG Tjornehoj while providing strange facts that separate desert animals from other animals. Review also posted on Amazon, my blog at readsbystacie.com, Library Thing, and Go Read.

What a beautifully illustrated book that will not only entertain but teach children as they listen to or read. Children have so many questions that sometimes they seem endless. This book takes care of many questions children might have about animals who live in a desert setting. The book is easy to read and enjoyable for all ages.
