Really enjoyed this action-packed sequel to the first in the Aftershock series. It takes off and pulls you along with its characters coping and adjusting to the many twists and turns in the story. Didn’t think I’d like it as much as the first one but I was wrong. The story just keeps building and it was hard to put down. Now I’m anxiously awaiting the next in the series. Like the biblical Exodus, I’m sure what follows will be equally intriguing with so many wondering “where do we go from here?” And I have high hopes for justice for the wrong they’ve done regarding our three big antagonists because of the ability and integrity of some of our favorite protagonists. Ryder, John, Gant and now Grayson never disappoint... Restitution for those wronged, yes, but seeing the evildoers reap what they’ve sown will be oh so gratifying. Really good storytelling — well written and well done.
