After a wolf attacks Rayne Adler near her grandfather's lodge, she's nursed back to health by three rugged, gorgeous brothers. Unaware they are wolf-shifters, Rayne finds herself fantasizing about all of them, each in a different way. But, she's not at Shady Pines Lodge for romance, nor could she ever choose between them. The Whitmore brothers, Caleb, Nick, and Dalton, are thrilled to finally have found their mate in spunky Rayne and will do everything they can to persuade her to stay and play! Although Nick wants her all to himself, that's not the way of the pack. If he wants her, he'll have to share her with his brothers. At least, for now. With luck, he'll manage to convince her that there's more pleasure in being a one-wolf woman.

A quick polyamory read with a dash of the supernatural sprinkled in. Some mild spoilers below.

Rayne Adler has inherited the Shady Pines Lodge after her grandfather's death. Coming on the heels of her being fired and dumped, Rayne decides to turn the former hunting lodge into a resort. However, on the way there, she is attacked by a wolf and forced to recuperate at the Whitmores', neighboring brothers who she has not seen in years, are significantly older, and have a wolfy secret.

This novel had the potential to be a decent romance read based on the plot line, but unfortunately, very little in the story is particularly believable from the very beginning. Despite having had a car accident and being bit by a wolf, neither of these two events are really mentioned enough besides being the catalyst for her encountering the Whitmores again and having mild shoulder pain prior to some more steamy scenes. The dialogue is rather choppy and sometimes reads like what teenagers would say, and many of the plot twists are rushed or implausible. While I take no issue with more romantic interludes happening sooner rather than later, in this book, there seems to be no believable lead up. Similarly, she displays hesitance at becoming involved with all three brothers and this is never really resolved in a conversation. While it is mentioned that when she was young, the Whitmores were already significantly older, this is never brought up again or questioned why they look the same age. The subplots of her trying to build a resort and avoiding the Emmersons (another pack that aims to prevent her from bringing tourists up the mountain) are briefly and disconnectedly mentioned with a quick resolution that comes out of nowhere and is not really all that resolved.

Thanks to the publisher for an advance digital copy in exchange for a fair review.

Rating is more like a 2.5 overall

This is my first book by Ari Thatcher. I liked the overall story idea a lot, but due to the length, it felt pretty underdeveloped, especially for some of the ambitious plot. I also take issue with the categorizing this book as a ménage, as it is not.

I like Rayne. She’s had a shitty run of things as of late; dumped by her ex (who packed her things up while she was at work), fired from her job, and her grandfather Joe died. She decides to leave the city and go to her family’s cabin in her hometown of Shady Pines Lodge. On her way to the cabin, she has a car wreck, then is attacked by a wolf.

Shortly after, she is reacquainted with the Whitmore brothers: Nate, a game warden who she had a history with before going to college (but she fantasized about for years), who initially nurses her injured shoulder; Dalton, a deep, more romantic brother; and Caleb, an athletic “dude” type. She has heard around that they have shared a woman before, and this intrigues her. She begins with Nate, but ends being intimate with all three, either one-on-one, in a threesome, or all together. As a side note, there’s also the side plots of renovating her family’s lodge and the three Emmerson brothers who hate her, but both subplots feel unfinished/underdeveloped.

I read the reviews here before I read this book, and to be honest, I find the criticism that she’s jumping into sex with the brothers right after her wreck/attack to not be entirely compelling for 2 reasons. First, Second,

All that said, I think this really does have the potential for a great story, but the overambitious plot just isn’t suited to it. Don’t get me wrong; there are FANTASTIC novellas/short stories, but what makes them great is that they don’t focus on the vast journey, but the experience of that moment. And this book FEELS like we’re on a journey, but we’re taking shortcuts the entire time. As a reader I feel cheated out of that experience. Problems are resolved too quickly, not at all, or don’t feel as developed as they should for the deep conflicts presented.

Rayne Alder has come to her late grandfathers fishing lodge to turn it into the Ritz of destination resorts for fishing nature walks. Unfortunately the mountain is over run with werewolves that do not want her plans to come to fruition. Attacked by a wolf on her way up the mountain she is saved by Alpha wolf Nick Whitmore. Stumbling away from the two wolves Rayne makes it to a cabin and enters to treat her wounds and get cleaned up. Little knowing she has made her way to the home of three alpha Werewolves spearheading the campaign to discourage her and get her to leave.

From page one you are drawn in. With steaming sexual scenes and magnetic attraction leaping off the page, there is nothing you can do, but keep a cold drink on hand and hang on as Ari Thatcher leads you through a suspenseful tale of warring werewolves, dangerous lies and a budding romance or two. Well written and a quick read to enjoy on a lazy fall day.

My rating of "Loving Her Alphas" is 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Loving Her Alphas was nothing like I've ever read before. Its a supernatural story with a thick lathering of polyamorous activities. Reading the synopsis I thought this might be a story of The Whitmore brothers trying to out do eachother to win Raynes heart. I couldn't have been more wrong if I tried.

Rayne Adler's grandfather passes away leaving her his Shady Pines Lodge, which she plans to transform into a modern day Spa and Resort. But upon arriving shes attacked by a wolf, as she seeks refuge at a near by lodge to later discover it belongs to The Whitmore Brother, 3 sexy shape shifting wolves.

Rayne finds herself with 3 extremely sexy nurses, The Whitmore Brothers, who she's  secretly fantasizing about, in ways she never thought would come true.

What baffles me is the pacing of the book one minute Rayne is bitten by a werewolf the next second she lets herself into an almost strangers house and then next she's trying to jump Nicks Whitmores bones 5 minutes after meeting him. Ok sure they were childhood friends but it's been years since she last saw him. I just had a hard time finding truth in this, it didn't feel believable.

The storyline really only becomes descriptive the moment their clothes are off, unfortunately that I feel the plot is weak, the story had so much potential and so many direction it could have gone if the book was longer. I feel like scenarios could have had a bit more of an explanation, from their rivals The Emmerson Brothers, who we know nothing about yet they're a crucial element to the plot, to the sudden resolution that spans out over only half a page, to the Whitmore brother who havent aged at all because of their werewolfish abilities. Again I'm not convinced.

I was given this book in return for an honest review.

This is not my usual reading, but the plot caught my attention. Ari Thatcher has written a light, fun book about a young woman reclaiming her power after being shut down by three serious life events - her grandfather dying, losing her job and her partner in quick succession. Going back home to her grandparents house in a remote mountain side to try to build a business for herself, she re-meets childhood crushes and finds she is drawn to them by something she can't place. They're werewolves and soon she will be too. The plot could easily have been built upon, but for those wanting a quick-read steamy romance, this will hit the spot. But be warned there is plenty of the steam.

I received this from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. I have to say I was really I was really disappointed. In this book we have a woman Rayne who is needing a new start and she thinks she has found it. Rayne wants to revamp her grandfathers old hunting lodge. However, the wolves in the area have different ideas. So it had a pretty good premise for a good story my problem is probably how this story is billed. I was expecting three alphas falling in love with one woman. That wasn’t what happened. We have Nick who for about 50% of the book is the sole man in her life. At the end there is one full ménage scene then one of the guys leaves for no good reason. It really irritated me if your looking for a good ménage read this diffently is not it. I was really disappointed.

I enjoyed that this book had a slightly take on being a werewolf. I love that Rayne wants to be independent but craves the connection with the guys at the same time.

I disliked the skeezy Jagger and his brothers. They are what gives werewolves a bad name. I also disliked the fact that Dalton felt the need to leave when he loved Rayne. I don't understand how he was okay sharing her until he realized she could be their actual mate. He will never be able to find a mate after being that close to her.

Rayne was a businesswoman, she had just left her long term boyfriend and best friend in Chicago. Nick was one of the three Whitmore brothers. He lived on the mountain and had known Rayne as a child. This was a fun story with a bit of intrigue. I really loved it but it does have a lot of sex. The characters seemed realistic, as did the dialogue. The scenery sounded gorgeous, with the pine trees and the birds. The plot was not that complex but still had an excellent storyline.

ARC - I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest!
Rayne inherited Shady Pines Lodge from her grandfather.
On the way to claim the Lodge, she is attacked by a wolf.
The Whitmores take care of the injured Rayne.
They did not want humans on their land, but Rayne is different.
She is their mate.
Now, they will have to protect Rayne + keep her safe.
Will Rayne stay at Shady Pines ?
Will the Whitmores brothers be able to woo their mate.
Loved the storytelling + the characters !

Rayne Adler just wants to get her Grandfathers lodge turned into a resort She doesn't expect to crash and get attacked in a place where she grew up. Lucky for her she was saved by the Whitemore brothers. Three brothers she was hoping to run into.
As they nurse her back to health the heat picks up. They are also trying to stop her from opening the resort.
I felt this book had some flat areas and lagged as well.

An ok read. This is a new to me author. Super hot and steamy polyamory scenes! The rest of the story just kind of dragged along. Could have used a little more meet and then it would have been a great read.

Rayne spent summers of her youth at her Grandpa Joe's hunting lodge when she met the Whitmore brothers Caleb, Nick, and Dalton. She decides after a bad break up to turn Grandpa Joe's run-down lodge into a resort. Rayne wrecks her car on her move to Silver Bear Mountain. A wolf attacks and bites Rayne while she is looking for help after the accident. Rayne escapes the wolf only after another wolf appears and a fight ensues. She makes her way to an isolated house and finds a key to let herself in. Rayne attempts to clean herself off and tend her wound when the owner of the house returns. Rayne realizes Nick and his brothers live in the house and the fantasies she had as a teenager rush back.

As the shifters in charge, the Whitmore brothers must stop Rayne from opening a resort. The other shifters on the mountain do not want strangers near their land. They have declared they will kill to protect it. Caleb, Nick, and Dalton are hoping Rayne will rethink the resort or she will sell the land to them.

The brothers share everything, including their women. They know Rayne possessing a dormant shifter gene that can awaken by bite or sex is a slim one, so they try to resist their attraction. For their pack to remain shifters, they cannot mate with a human. Their shifter gene will breed out if they do. What they don't count on is how hard they fall for Rayne.

Rayne and Nick had decent chemistry and acted on it quickly. When Rayne began to consider multiple partners she did not suffer a lot of inner torment about it being wrong. It gets on my nerves when women in books judge themselves in ménage situations. I appreciate that was not the case here. The frequent sexual encounters were pretty steamy.

Rayne showed signs of some anxiety. Her rubbing her arm to stop the desire to crawl out of her skin or itching from the inside out soon seemed like subtle hints toward a shifter transformation. I enjoyed the narrator's approach to this scenario. It caused little twinges of tension waiting to see if, how and when she might turn.

The plot itself did not hold a ton of depth. It was mainly an anthology of sexual fantasies. It did not bother me too much until the end. One of the brothers decided to leave the pack for fear of his jealousy tearing them apart. It felt sudden. Until that point, Rayne and the brothers interacted fine. Lacking an emotional tie to them, it just made me roll my eyes.

The flow of some of the sex scenes was problematic. For example, a character would be lying on top of another and suddenly would be beside them doing something different with no segue. This issue happened often enough I started backtracking to find where I misunderstood. Feeling like I missed something became annoying.

Overall this book was decent. Not the best I have read but not the worst either. It would be good for someone looking for a tantalizing paranormal romance.

All my opinions are my own and may not match that of others. I encourage all readers to come to their own conclusions. I voluntarily received an ARC copy of this book through NetGalley.

This book was good until the last 10% then it was destroyed. Just Saying. Rayne is coming back to claim the land left behind by her grandfather with a plan for bringing people to the area. For the Whitemores and the other shifters, well they are not to happy with humans being there but when they meet Rayne again after a wolf attack, things are going to change. All three brothers are attracted but who will win? THe foursome? fine. her back and forth with accepting the guys? Fine. but the way the story just ended...the way it turned was not okay wiht me. I mean had the rest of the story not gone on with such a strong pursuit it would have been fine But I was let down.

Three hot brothers/wolves for one women. Great premise but lacked a lot in the story. The bad guy part kinda fell flat. Then one of the brothers left. Then blah ending.

This was a quick polyamory story that I really wish had a bit more to it. I feel that even though there were enough steamy parts, the story just wasn't that believable and it was lacking quite a bit of plot. It could have been so much better.
