State Police Officer and Narcotics Agent Jim Richards, whose 20-year career is nearing an end, thought that he had seen just about everything that man had to offer, the good and the bad. While investigating the distribution of dangerous drugs by members of a local outlaw motorcycle gang Agent Richards and his partners stumble into a new level of evil, one that has been feeding on the pain and misery of humans throughout history, a demon. During an undercover drug deal Agent Richards and his partners start to realize that they are dealing with events outside of their law enforcement training and experience. It’s not until they come face-to-face in a dark basement with persons under demonic influence that they start to understand that they are out of their league. In an effort to understand what they are dealing with Richards and company seek out the help of a college professor who teaches religious studies. It is during this contact that recent events start to take a more recognizable shape. As the agents develop a greater understanding of what it is that they are dealing with evil shows just how quickly it can manifest itself into tragedy resulting in the death of a fellow Police Officer. This tragedy gives way to hope when help from an unexpected source arrives. However as with all things in life hope is often shadowed by pain and that is exactly what Agent Richards and his partners experience. Pain and betrayal that ends with a final confrontation between Jim Richards and the demon. This confrontation stretches his skill sets, and his faith, to a violent conclusion that reveals a past connection with this evil. Are you afraid of monsters?
