4.5 Stars.
I'm torn between rating this book 4 and 5 stars. This is a wonderfully written, completely heart wrenching selection of poems that I thoroughly enjoyed. But sometimes, I felt the pacing to be a little bit too slow or too fast, and some of the poems were not as fleshed out as they could have been and fell completely flat, ending too soon or not building enough.

i loved this book so much i analyzed it to the point my english professor tried to convince me to get a phd, and i have a terrible attention span so that’s impressive
