Another fantastic read by Isabella Starling-really fabulous! Ms. Starling is on a roll with this series of fairytales redone with a modern day feel and it has a twist and I am dying for more of these stories for they are so insanely HAWT!! Dom is a man who was in so many ways turned into a monster-not literally- about 10 years before when his family was killed by the Russian mafia and the mafia believed they killed Dom too but he faked being dead in order to live thru that nightmare night. Dom swore vengeance and revenge on everyone associated with that night and he has been making good on that promise. Dom comes to collect from Belle’s dad on a debt he owes, he sees Belle and wants to make her his. Dom is a total alpha beast for Belle, for he is obsessed for her . Belle doesn’t want to see her dad hurt so she offers an exchange--offers to go with him to pay her father's debt. Dom jumps on that in a heartbeat. He immediately takes her and locks her up under his roof. Dom & Belle had a rocky start but everything soon gives way to this dark and delicious romance. Will Belle be the one to change Dom from the “monster” to a “hero” ? Will he be her hero or will he end up being the one to end everything? This was one erotic, dark, intense and steamy read with intrigue, suspense, and heat. I loved every moment and the ending was awesome!!!

Totally sexy, hot twist on beauty and the beast! Dom is a beast he’s alpha king controlling monster who is out for revenge. Dom is upset because someone owes him money he goes to visit the fool and ends up seeing a beautiful woman named Arabelle who offers herself for what her father has done. Will Dom bring out his beast towards Arabelle or will she be the one to tame the beast? OH GOD! Guys..you have to read Breaking Belle!! It is everything you could ask for! Isabella Starling is my queen..I love her and her writing so much! She knows how to tell a story so beautifully and perfectly! But this story..oh how it gave me all the feels! Who doesn't love an alpha? Who doesn't love an innocent girl turned strong woman by the hands of an alpha? What about when that strong woman brings this alpha to his knees only under her love? YES YES and YES!
Dom is SO perfect! His character is portrayed as the "beast" in this beautifully retold version of "Beauty and the Beast". Underneath his exterior..Isabella shows us the man and the mans story makes it impossible to not love him! I cannot wait for you guys to meet him!
Belle is everything and more a princess should be! Her compassion and beauty..I guess its safe to say..I may have swooned over her a little myself!

I got a chance to read this short smutty naughty fairy tale version and I loved it. Isabella Starling has a unique dark theme that I can point out immediately. Can't wait for more.

I ordered this book IMMEDIATELY after I was done with Collaring Cinderella which I love. So naturally I was looking forward for this book to arrive on my doorstep. And I arrived it did. I wasted no time in tearing the packaging and was completely 100% ready to devoured and fell in love with Breaking Belle.
Well, I devoured it alright. But fell in love with it, I did not.
I just don't like Belle. Her reaction to what happened is just unbelievable which makes it difficult for me to wrap my head around the story.
An absolute disappointment.

The story is loosely based on Beauty and the Beast, but more adult and mafia themed. I liked the idea of the storyline but with the book being as short as it was, I felt that I couldn't enjoy it like I might have wanted to. It is a short story so I get that things get condensed down, but to me the book needed to be longer with more details.

As it was with Isabella Starling's last fairy tale, Claiming Belle totally drew me in. And secretly, a whole lot more soul foul, mesmerizing and entertaining than the live action movie made of the classic Disney movie of Beauty And The Beast. It's one of those fairytales that resonates with me and the way that this author has made it realistic is still something that amazes me and makes me thirsty for more. Sure it's a quick read, and an almost insta-love, but it's the kind of story that makes you forget about everything but what is happening to these two characters. I honestly can't wait until the next fairytale this author will be releasing since i'm certain it'll be just as much a treat as the previous two have been.

What a better way to immortalize a fairytale that to give it a kinky side. I know that I wanted it and love it so I'm so happy for this series.
As I've told you before Isabella Starling is the bomb. Her books are unique and special. Every story is amazing and you will fall in love with the characters.
Since the moment she told me that she was going to create a new series I was excited and anxious for it.
Princess After Dark will revolutionize the way you see fairytales and you will love it. My advice is to read Collaring Cinderella first and then dig into this one.

BREAKING BELLE , a modern but super hot retelling of Beauty and the Beast, is about a reclusive and formidable mobster boss who fell in love at first sight with the daughter of one of his enemies. Dom had a very dark personality, and he wasn't the typical hero that charmed me as a reader immediately. But as his tragic backstory was revealed, it was easy to understand the reason why he had become a monster. And even though it was him to break Belle and bring out her wanton desires , she was the woman who gave him light and a new family to love.
This book was an interesting version of one of my favorite childhood fairy tales. I didn't want it to end, especially when the Dom finally became more lovable. But all in all, this was a good one, and I can't wait to read the author's next standalone read under this series.

Another amazing read that I couldn’t put down. I freakin loved this story. Dom can only think of one thing and that’s revenge. Belle has never fit in with her family and when Dom comes to collect from Belle’s dad, he sees Belle and wants to make her his. Dom & Belle had a rocky start but both knew they belonged together and the pull that they felt couldn’t be denied. But their HEA will have to wait when Dom’s enemy takes what he loves the most. Must read to see what happens with Dom & Belle. Phenomenal read and love Isabelle’s spin on the classic Beauty & the Beast. I absolutely loved Dom & Belle and can’t wait to see what fairytale will be next.

What a great Beast and Beauty! I would so watch this if it was a TV show. I don't know how Isabella does it but damn I loved this story. Dom is a sexy and demanding beast of a man. With Bella being his sweet girl that he will protect with everything he has. Bella goes with Dom to protect her family, or at least that is how she comes across, as noble, but in the end, it is really to save herself from her family. At the end, it might be to save Dom from himself. Maybe they are made for each other and she knew that.

Brave, sweet Belle! Volunteering herself to save her father from his debt, she offers herself up to Dom, the cruel, arrogant, beast who now owns her. I loved this slightly dark yet sweetly hot twist on a classic fairytale. The heat and the instalove was enthralling and well done! Great next book in the Princess After Dark series!

Dominic was a bit of a handful, definitely a darker version of my favorite fairytale. Belle’s father owes Dominic for a gambling debt, so Belle offers herself instead. Whew, she had absolutely no idea what the hell she was getting herself into.....seriously a handful.
Safe read and we get epilogues...as in plural. Can’t wait to read the next one.

This is another short, smutty story. I usually enjoy reading from Isabella Starling, but this one fell flat. It lacked some character/story development. Dominic sees himself as a monster, but he doesn't quite come across as one. I wished he was more of beast, especially in the beginning. He could have been more intimidating. There wasn't enough background on the characters for me to get interested in them. In addition, there was a few inconsistencies. It felt rushed. However, I did enjoy a couple of the surprises and I liked that it had dark elements. Honestly, I think Breaking Belle had potential to be really good. I wish it was a bit longer.

I absolutely freakin' loved this story. Dom is a man who was figuratively turned into a monster a decade ago when the Russian mafia killed most of his family and believed him to be dead as well. He is plotting his revenge, because he plans on making them all pay for what they did. While paying a visit to Christopher Dalton, because he owed Dom a lot of money, he finds Arabelle. Arabelle is one of Christopher's six children and the only girl, plus she was barely eighteen. When Dom saw her he knew he wouldn't be leaving there without her. Arabelle doesn't want to see her dad get hurt and she can see that Dom thinks she is pretty. So she offers to go with him to pay her father's debt. Her father and older brothers don't object or try to save her, just her younger brother, Adrian tries to save her but ends up being held back by his older brothers. Dom takes Arabelle with him and tells her from now on she is just Belle, his Belle. Grab this book and let Isabella Starling take you on a trip to Dom's castle where he plans to keep her for himself forever. This story has it all, intrigue, betrayal, hot steamy $*x and a gripping story that will have you turning the pages to the very end. Will Dom be able to be anything besides the monster he believes himself to be? Will Belle be able to survive the beast and maybe even tame him? Grab this book to find out. It's a definite must read and I highly recommend it.

The main characters together scorched the pages with their red hot chemistry! The story has action, steamy saucy scenes, and a beautiful HEA! This is my second book by Isabella Starling and I've to say i've become a huge fan of her writing.
Dom, is a dangerous man who is angry with the world after losing everyone in his life, he just want revenge.. he doesn't forget or forgive anyone... is not until he is treating Christopher Dalton trying to settle a debt, that he sees her, the most beautiful girl she has ever seen .. Arabelle the Daughter of the man who owns Dom so much... Arabelle offers her self "to save" her family as payment for her fathers debts. but at the same time she just want to leave that place .. she feels like she is not appreciated, like her older brother and father don't even care about her.. except for her little bother Adrian that she loves so much..
Arabelle takes a leap of faith and scared gives herself to Dom, the Beast.. she is young and sweet and innocent and happens to be a virgin. something that would make Dom crazy.. how is it possible such a beautiful girl like her still intact? .. Dom is intrigue but at the same time feels so drawn to her beauty and her natural submissiveness..
Slowly we see how Dom and Belle start to fall for each other.. they can't denied their chemistry, the sparks between them.. is a very strong attraction.. even if Belle doesn't even know why she craves him, why she craves to be hurt, to submit to him... but in a way Dom knew she belonged to him, everything about her scream that she belonged to him... and she did .. she was all his..he is possessive, controlling and wants to keep her.. he won't let anybody hurt her, he will protect her from anybody that means harm, including her own family..

Another great novella in The Princess After Dark series. All of which can be read as standalones.
This novella is a naughty version of Beauty and the Beast.
This novella is filled with lots of darkness right from the start. It's a very quick read but you get sucked in quickly. There is also a mafia side to the story to so that is a plus.
The sex scenes are okay, not the best, but it will do. Of course with any dirty story I always want more of those sex scenes.
I loved Belle from the beginning. So brave and protective wanting to make sure her family is going to be okay. In the beginning, Dom was angry and closed off. Taking things without care. Later, you will learn why he is the way he is. Maybe Belle can break through his angry ways and teach him to love again.

Dominic Blackwood has just found out that someone close to him that he trusted and considered a friend has betrayed him. Aleksei was spying on Dom and reporting back to his enemy, Nikolai, the Russian mob boss and now he's dead. Dom and his men were in a castle in the middle of nowhere hiding out from the Russians. They've already taken everything from him and he's the only one left of his family. He takes two of his men to the local town to collect money from Christopher Dalton, who now owes him triple the original money he borrowed. When he gets to the house it's a dump and there are several kids living there of all different ages. Then he notices the beautiful young woman and she takes his breath away. Arabella is 18 years old and she has six older brothers who hate her and one younger brother (Adrian,14) who she is very close to. Her father does not have the money to pay Dom back so she offers herself up as payment to the strange, handsome man. This book wasn't bad but there were some things about it that really annoyed me which are :
1.) Dom grabs Belle's pussy in front of her whole family when they first meet.
2.) Who the hell is Chip and where did he come from ?
3.) What started the feud between Dom's great grandfather and the Russians ?
4.) Why did Belle's older brothers hate her so much just because she looked like her mother ?
5.) Why the hell did Dom only have two guards ? Especially knowing what the Russians were capable of and even after he brought Belle home. And then after one of the guards leave he still doesn't get another one.
6.) Dom is supposed to be the boss but he seems as dumb as a box of hair a lot of the time.
7.) Why the hell didn't he have a gun when they charged into his bedroom ?
8.) I find it incredibly hard to believe that they beat him and starved him for two weeks yet he was able to rise up and beat the snot out of three guys.

He takes two of his men to the local town to collect money from Christopher Dalton, who now owes him triple the original money he borrowed. When he gets to the house it's a dump and there are several kids living there of all different ages. Then he notices the beautiful young woman and she takes his breath away. Arabella is 18 years old and she has six older brothers who hate her and one younger brother (Adrian,14) who she is very close to. Her father does not have the money to pay Dom back so she offers herself up as payment to the strange, handsome man. This book wasn't bad but there were some things about it that really annoyed me which are :
1.) Dom grabs Belle's pussy in front of her whole family when they first meet.
2.) Who the hell is Chip and where did he come from ?
3.) What started the feud between Dom's great grandfather and the Russians ?
4.) Why did Belle's older brothers hate her so much just because she looked like her mother ?
5.) Why the hell did Dom only have two guards ? Especially knowing what the Russians were capable of and even after he brought Belle home. And then after one of the guards leave he still doesn't get another one.
6.) Dom is supposed to be the boss but he seems as dumb as a box of hair a lot of the time.
7.) Why the hell didn't he have a gun when they charged into his bedroom ?
8.) I find it incredibly hard to believe that they beat him and starved him for two weeks yet he was able to rise up and beat the snot out of three guys.

Isabella Starling has come back with another one of my favorite kind of fairy tales, a dirty, twisted, filthy, adult kind. This time, we're getting Beauty and the Beast, and 5 alarm fire doesn't even begin to touch the heat level.
Arabelle is the only girl in her family of 6 kids. Most of her brothers are older than her and want nothing to do with her. Her dad is a deadbeat and in deep with gambling and borrowing money, especially to Dominic. When it comes time to collect, Dom decided to go handle this one personally. He tells her dad that he needs to pay up. Arabelle volunteers to go with him to pay her father's debt.
Such a great story. There are secrets and machinations that are affecting everyone's lives, some that Dom knows about, some that he doesn't. Belle is a super strong character, stronger than most people may think, and she's pretty awesome. All in all, one of my new favorite fairy tales.

This one was a take on Beauty and Beast! And OMG! I FLOVED it!
Arabelle is the only girl in her family with a older brothers who are dicks, a dad addicted to gambling and drinking.
Dominic Blackwood comes to collect the debt himself and sees and wants her for himself. Good thing for him, cause Arabelle offers herself as payment.
Dominic is your typical Alpha male. Possessive, protective, dark, a bit of an asshole and sexy.
Arabelle is an awesome heroine. Sweet, strong and sassy!
There are so many secrets from the past that play a huge role in the entire story.
There's suspense, unexpected twists and turns and of course, sexy time!

Belle Dalton volunteers herself and her life to pay the phenomenal gambling debt her worthless father owes to Dominic Blackwood, not knowing what she was going to get into. He did her a favor, really, because now she was fed, clothed, and sheltered extravagantly, and not at her family’s endless beck and call.
There was no doubt about it, Belle was a girl he had to possess as soon as he noticed her. And thanks to her father, Dom has a way to do so and he takes it. Belle gets to know Dom as he opens up to her about all he has lost, and they fall deeply for each other, but the world soon catches up to Dom, and the next thing he knew, the only thing that matters in his life is taken from him.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book for an honest review. Wow! Freaking loved this book! Dominic, is a beast hell bent on revenge and he will get it one way or another. Arabelle’s (Belle) father is in deep debt with Dom and he’s come to collect, fearing for her family she offers herself up to the beast. She now belongs to Dom and there’s no turning back now. It’s a rocky road with these two until the moment Dom opens up and tells his story. The chemistry is off the charts smoldering hot, the story is dark, insatiable, suspenseful, and filled with deceit and lies. They can no longer deny their feelings, but can Belle break through his frozen heart and help him love again after everything he’s lost? This was so good, the spin on Beauty and The Beast was off the hook and I can’t wait for what’s coming next.
