I was drugged. Now, I’ve woken up in a dark, luscious room. A deviant playground. I’m not alone. The person that was drugged and taken with me is here, too. My confidant. Someone that I had come to see as a brother. My best friend. Suddenly, there’s a voice coming through the speakers, telling us we’ve both been chosen to die. The only way out? Do everything we’re told to do. This person wants to watch us. They want to be entertained. As she says, “I want to see you come.” It’s simple: either we f*ck, or die.
Elena M. Reyes is the epitome of a Floridian and if she could live in her beloved flip-flops, she would.
As a small child, she was always intrigued by all forms of art: whether it was dancing to island rhythms, or painting with any medium she could get her hands on. Her passion for reading over the years has amassed her with hours of pleasure, but it wasn't until she stumbled upon fanfiction that her thirst to write overtook her world.
She’s a short and sassy Latina with an adorable pup, a kiddo that keeps her on her toes, and a husband who claims she’ll cause him to go bald prematurely. Lol

Well, this was certainly a hell of a start to what is bound to be a scary, dark series. In fact, I really struggled with how to rate this one. In the end, I think this one is about a 3 1/2 star read for me.
On the one hand, I love stories that are taboo and twisted. This book is probably one of the most twisted stories that I've read in a long time. It was downright gory and deranged -- think mutilation and torture. The authors didn't hold back in that regard, at all.
I also have to give the authors credit for coming up with such an original storyline. I read a lot, but the idea of two best friends being kidnapped and forced to perform sex acts for an unseen person is new to me. A+ for originality.
On the other hand, I prefer for my characters and storyline to be developed better before jumping off the deep end. Otherwise, the gore and horrific events don't carry the same weight. Instead of being emotional and keeping me on the edge of my seat, the gore seems thrown in just for shock value. This story definitely had that effect on me.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not afraid of some truly disturbing content. However, I kind of need a warm-up or some type of emotional connection to the characters before fingers start getting chopped off, etc. While I understand why the authors did this, as it was effective in setting the stage, it just didn't work for me.
That being said, I can't deny that I am curious to see where this story is headed. Noah and Ivy clearly have some unaddressed sexual tension between them. Their abductor clearly plans to exploit that. Already, there have been some hot, smutty scenes between the two friends. I have no doubt that it will only get steamier as the series progresses.
Will I read the next one? Probably. However, I'll go into it with caution. I may have finally found a series that is too dark and gory for me. I'm not afraid of violence or abuse in my stories, but this one reads like a slasher film. No judgment here, to each their own. Mutilation and torture just isn't my kink.
“Ivy. Don’t stop coming for me. You have no idea how long I’ve—shite, baby. Just keep drenching my cock with that beautiful cunt.”
Although short, Taken packs in a real punch! It had such a unique dark romance aspect to it, If it were for the idea itself - I would give it all the stars. This dirty, demented daring story pulled me in right from it's first words. _______________
The Story What. An. Amazing. Idea.
The synopsis of the story really brought out the dark romance lover part of me. I couldn't help but follow word for word what was going on. But here's a slight confession, even though the story idea was amazing, the execution fell back a little bit. We got some cringey and odd writing shifts in the narration and it kind of made me laugh because of how out of place it felt.
“Noah!” I stomp my foot. My tits jiggle with the move.
The reactions that the two main characters went through, I found to be slightly unrealistic. The whole situation was creepy as fuck and it really grew on me throughout. Nevertheless, due to its length, I'm guessing the authors wanted to fit in some actual romance for the readers.
I finished this in around 2 hours and I shit you not, the first thing I did was go on to the next one. You will go through these like chocolate. You know how bad it is, yet you can't help but reach for more <3
➜ It was Hot, it was Sick, it was Twisted, it was Dark, it left me Gasping for more..
TAKEN: Is the first book in the (Voyeur #1) series by N. Isabelle Blanco & Elena M. Reyes
This was one fucked up, mind fuckery of a read, That above picture pretty much sums up what was racing through my mind!! I went into this hoping and praying to the book gods that they would deliver me a dark gritty read, they kind of delivered it, the only thing I really disliked about this was on my kindle it stops exactly at the 75% mark, but don't be fooled into thinking not much can happen within that time because these ladies packed in a lot of shit onto those pages.
Like a jigsaw puzzle you have to piece the story together, just like Noah and Ivy, two best friends, both were drugged and dragged out of their homes, apparently kidnapped and shoved in a sumptuous, elegant room, with chaise lounges, a fireplace and a huge bed. Speakers set into the walls. Dark concrete walls with writing over them. No windows, no door, no way to escape!!
🌟Tease him I want to see you choke Make her come Let them watch 🌟
Neither know why, neither know what's going to happen to them, neither know if they will survive.
All they do know is they only have each other.
Under the influence of whatever drug they were subjected to heightens their arousal, two little play things, two little pets.
A females distorted voice commands things over the speakers from them they never thought they would have to do.
I started this last night in bed and before I knew it I'd devoured it. So many questions left unanswered, and that deflated feeling of when can I get my grabby hands onto the next copy because that's how addictive this was!
First I have to say that I really enjoyed this little twisted read but I had no other option but to rate it 4 stars because of it's length.
Ivy and Noah have been kidnapped, drugged and thrown in some weird luxurious bedroom cell. When they come to they are still under the influence of whatever drugs they'd been given. Then it just gets twisted, dark and oh so intriguing.
This is unlike any 'kidnap' book I have read. I mean the purpose and the reason for their kidnapping is still unknown but what is expected of them and the way they are kept is different from what I've read before and I like different (some times ;)). It definitely got the blood pumping in the right way.
Yes this is too short but for the length it sure did pack a punch in the dark and twisted category. The setting and characters are really intriguing and I find myself a little stunned at how much I did like it.I am excited to see where this one goes, I am a little concerned though as I searched the author's pages and can't find anything about book 2 I hope they don't leave us hanging too long.
Taken is the first novella in the Voyeur series by N. Isabelle Blanco and Elena M. Reyes. I had never read anything by these two authors before, but once I read the blurb, I was sold! It sounded like just the kind of dark, depraved story I love to read. More twisted than I imagined, intense, bloody, and intriguing, it definitely did not disappoint!
Two people are kidnapped from their homes and wake up in a luxurious room drugged and scantily clad where they are ordered around by a disembodied voice coming through speakers in the walls. There is no doors and seemingly no way out. Blood is seeping from under one of the walls, and every so often they hear moans and screaming coming from somewhere beyond the room which just serves as a source of more anxiety.
Ivy and Noah are best friends, and while having each other is their only source of comfort, that fact is used against them. The person behind this sick scenario threatens each of their lives if they don’t comply with all of their demands most of which are sexual in nature. No matter what they want, it’s becomes clear that they are going to have to either have sex and perform other sexual acts with an audience or be tortured and die!
Taken is one hell of a novella! The story enraptured me right away, kept me captivated throughout, and the end left me practically salivating for more! My imagination was running as wild as Ivy and Noah’s the whole time I was reading. I wanted to know who was behind this perverted little plan, why they targeted our two main characters, and what the reason was behind it all. There is a big cliffhanger at the end of the book, so if you don’t like that, pass this one on by! My friend described it as leading someone to climax, but then stopping just as you are about to orgasm, and I couldn’t have put it any better myself! Lucky for me, I enjoy a little deprivation now and again. It makes the payoff so much sweeter! If you like your stories deliciously disturbing, dirty, and addictive, and cliffhangers that drive you mad with anticipation aren’t a deal breaker for you, I recommend this one to you!!
As the first installment of the Voyeur series, TAKEN was short but packed one hell of a punch. Ivy and Noah are best friends who have woken up in a strange room only to realize that they've both been drugged and kidnapped. With more questions than answers, they're not left wondering for too long because their captor(s) make it clear that they are toys/pawns/victims of a very sick game. They don't know who took them, why they were chosen, what the captor(s) end game is, or whether or not they will even survive.
This story is chilling, dark and erotic. I liked the play on hidden emotions. It's very clear that Ivy has strong feelings for Noah, which she has forced herself to hid to protect herself, but this intense situation is forcing them to the surface. I also liked how protective Noah was and how it seemed that some of those feelings were reciprocated. I can't wait to see how this story develops.
I'm not a huge fan of cliffhangers but the authors did a great job of sucking me into this story and I for one am anxious to find out the answers to all of my questions and how things will play out for these characters.
Release Date: May 24, 2017 Genre: Dark Erotic Romance POV: Heroine - 1st person Steam: 4.5 out of 5 Book Type: Book 1 of the Voyeur series
This cover is OK. Pretty good representation of the story. Good compostion. Interesting title work.
This review is going to be rather on the short side. One, because the book itself is very short and two, because I need to watch some puppy and baby videos on Youtube to cleanse my brain. *lol*
So my feelings on this one? I really liked it. Like I said above it's super short and ends on a major cliffy, but I am incredibly intrigued to see where this is all going. The writing was excellent. It had a nice pace to it. It was twisted and bloody and had some hot sex scenes. Bring on the next installment!
That was absolutley mental I'm still in shock from that crazy-ass story. There isn't really that much I can say about this that the blurb doesn't but I'm going to try. Here goes. SO Ivy and Noah, best friends, kidnapped, drugged and dumped into some sort of sex dungeon. Creepy-ass female voice wanted them to perform for, well, who the hell knows?
This is a short read that packs a lot into its pages. It's sick, twisted and like nothing I've ever read before. I'm hoping in the next instalment we get a bit of backstory as I wasn't a great fan of how this started. I felt it gave me a slight disconnect with the main characters Ivy and Noah which wouldn't have entirely been an issue if this was a longer read. Despite that, I did manage to play catch up and I'm ever so intrigued with what will happen next. On the edge of my seat here people.
This was well written and the main reason for me rating this three and a half stars, is I'm not quite sure if I'm quite fully invested here yet. I liked both the main characters and have no idea where this is going but I'm hitching along for the ride anyway. One final observation before I toddle off. That was certainly a shit for brain moment near the end Ivy. Played into her hands there. DUH!! what were you thinking girly
Onwards and upwards on to the next sick twisted instalment, I go. This should be interesting I feel like I'm in an episode of Saw. Taken (Voyeur, #1) is free with a Kindle Unlimited subscription.
Best friends and surrogate siblings, Ivy and Noah have been kidnapped, Taken. Drugged and held captive in an opulent bedroom with no way out, they are forced to perform depraved and humiliating acts by a woman whose disembodied voice floats to them through speakers in the ceiling, threatening those they love if they don’t comply. Her audience needs to be entertained and Ivy and Noah are their entertainment.
Taken is part one in a short form (less than 100 pages) serial written in the first person single POV of Ivy. I loved the mystery that the single POV created. Only being in Ivy’s head had me questioning everything and everyone. And I love not being able to guess where a book is going to go. These authors did a fabulous job in that respect.
The chemistry between Ivy and Noah is electric, instant and—due to their sibling-like relationship—had a subtle but distinct taboo feel. The only thing that held me back from giving it a full five stars was that I needed more character detail. If there was a prologue or flashback that showed the characters previous to their abduction to get to know them and to illustrate the dichotomy of their current situation, I would be in heaven. And who knows, maybe we get that in the next part of the serial. *fingers crossed*
If you like dark erotica and aren't’ afraid of a little gore, this is a serial you need to try. Tied, part two of the series is scheduled for release on July 25, 2017, and you can bet I will be reading it when it comes out!
"We've been dealt our cards; there is no escape. We must accept our fate. Either we fuck each other, or we die."
Taken is the first book in the Voyeur Series by Elena M. Reyes & N Isabelle Blanco.
Drugged and kidnapped, Noah and Ivy found themselves in a dark, luscious room with a huge bed, a voice coming through the speakers, no answers and no way to escape; just a bone-chilling fear of the unknown and the unsettling feeling that they were being watched, that at any moment one of them will die. All they have is each other.
Two pets. One voice. Fuck or die.
I already love N.Isabelle Blanco's writing, but this was my first Elena M. Reyes and I can say without a doubt, that I will read whatever this duo writes.
The suspense was killing me! Taken kept me intrigued with who the mystery woman that causes so much pain to the lead characters was. And why? Fucking why? I need to know what's going to happen next.
I need Noah POV, pleaseeeeee!!
It ends on a cliffy, one that will leave you gasping for MORE!!
Taken is dark, twisty tale of lust, blood, murder and I dare to say, LOVE. The perfect start to a new series. It's not a story for everyone. So you have been warned.
Can't wait to get my grabby hands onto the next one!
Whew! This was a short novella, the first in a serial, that I can't beg the authors enough to gimme gimme GIMME the next installment!! <3 You love me best, so.... GIMME!!!!!
Waking up next to your best friend wearing nothing but some slinky lingerie is confusing. Waking up like that in a strange place with no windows or doors is creepy and panic inducing!
Just why are Noah and Ivy there and who is orchestrating this whole thing? The person I thought it was. . . well, I was wrong. lol!
If you like dark and erotic, then this smoking, chilling book is for you!
"Tease him. I want to see you choke. Make her come. Let them watch . . ."
Dark. Hot. Dirty. Twisted.
Senhor!
If the SAW franchise decided to dive into erotica it would be this book. The sick part is I actually enjoyed it. There is a to be continued ending... so if you can't take a cliffy you may want to hold off, but I felt it was good and short enough that you won't forget anything if you read it now and wait for the next book.
Dark and disturbing psycho-sexual thriller! I need more NOW (please).
Full review to follow.
OMG, what did I just read? Ivy and Noah are drugged with something like Ecstasy and Viagra, kidnapped and locked in a room. The only link they have to the outside world is a voice barking orders over a speaker.
"We’ve been dealt our cards; there is no escape. We must accept our fate. Either we fuck each other, or we die.”
The two friends find themselves in a sex induced haze with an audience watching. If they don’t comply, loved ones will start to die.
“The blood splattered on the walls registers. Then, the growing puddle of blood on the floor, the same puddle responsible for the blood leaking into our room.”
Taken (Voyeur #1) is the first installment in this series. This dark and deranged book was a heart attack and ended with a doozy of a cliffhanger. Taken is short (novella length) and fast-paced. I can’t wait to read Tied (Voyeur Book 2) when it releases in July.
This review appears on www.kindlecrack.net, www.facebook.com/kindlecrack, Goodreads, Amazon, Pinterest, Google+ and Twitter. A review copy of this book was kindly provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.
Whoa! WTF did I just read? TAKEN has to be the most disturbing, depraved and controversial book I’ve read this year. It is so much more twisted and darker than I originally inspected – so much so that I had to step back during a particular scene to take a deep breath… and I am really not easily rattled. I devoured this novella in one sitting – and it was over way too fast. I don’t need excerpts from other books by the authors – I need answers – and fast!! Seriously, there is an endless load of unanswered questions:
~ Who has taken them? ~ What is the kidnapper’s end goal? ~ Who is watching and dictating their every move? ~ What will they have to endure to save themselves? ~ Will they free themselves before they break? ~ …will they survive this compromising situation at all?
The thrill of Ivy and Noah’s story clutched me from the very first sentence and didn’t let me go till the end. You see, Ivy and Noah have been best friends for years – nothing more and nothing less. Now, after being drugged and abducted, they find themselves locked in a room together, both in skimpy / hardly any clothes. They are ordered to do things to each other they would never do willingly (or would they?) – if they don’t obey, they will be punished. Those two deeply care for each other, and especially Noah does everything in his might to protect Ivy, definitely harboring much deeper feelings for her underneath.
And then there is this mean AF cliffhanger! It left me speech- and breathless, craving for more. The build-up, the intensity, the manipulation, the dark depravity of it all, plus that sizzling interaction between Ivy and Noah … all this makes for one hell of a ride that is shocking and surely not for the faint of heart. But if twisty disturbing reads with a lot of taboo and kink thrown into the mix are your thing – this is definitely the story for you!
This was just hella weird. A weird mix of horror and erotica? idek, it was a wild ride, one I didn't really enjoy. It was a car wreck and I couldn't look away. Also, this author seems to have a habit of creating a series out of what should be one book, this was ridiculously short, making you pay for every part. But it clearly worked because I also bought the second one.
Best friends Noah and Ivy have been abducted, locked together in a room and injected with some type of anti-inhabitant + aphrodisiac. “We’ve been dealt our cards; there is no escape. We must accept our fate. Either we fuck each other, or we die.”
From a speaker, the stern voice of their female captor commands their every move. During their brief time in captivity she forces Ivy and Noah to witness darkly delicious mutilation/torture and also forces them to engage in some incredibly hot sex scenes. If the author hadn’t mentioned that these characters had been drugged, the intense sexual chemistry between Ivy and Noah would have been incredibly hard to believe! ”How can I still be aroused after what I just witnessed?”
Overall, this book is well written with very few typos. However, being such a brief book (only 77 or 78 pages long), it felt extremely redundant when the author repeated the prologue verbatim again in chapter 6. This book would have flowed much better had the prologue had been completely omitted. I’d also be cautious about spend a lot of money on this, “book” since it isn’t actually a full book but just the first few chapters of one.
Ending in a cliffhanger I am heading right into the next book to find out what happens next (and to hopefully find out how these two got here in the first place)!
5 Deliciously Twisted beyond Dark Yummyness STARS***** Taken...Forced...Lust...Pain...Darkness...Truth....Changed..... I devoured this story and now I'm in serious need for MORE. The opening grabbed my attention. I was thinking BDSM read. Sure Sign me up. But Then you start to get the bits that this story has so much more. The suspense and thrill parts drew me in. Of course the interaction between Ivy and Noah is off the charts. But the Darkness is what kept me interested. Involved. On the edge of my dirty little sit. You won't want to miss this darkly addicting story. I know I'm definitely ready for more!
Taken is a dark erotic romance. It’s also part one of a series and ends on a cliffhanger, so be aware of this before you buy. It’s a really short read, but ends on a wow of a cliffy.
Ivy and Noah are best friends and they both wake up in a bedroom that’s not their own. They figure out pretty quick that they were drugged and brought there, but by who? They soon end up hearing a voice over a speaker that gives them directions. You’ll have to get the book to find out more because I really don’t want to give anything away, but I will say some parts are difficult to read and some questions just don’t get answered. That’s the point of a cliffhanger I suppose, but it does get you frustrated.
Wow. What a read...I honestly don't even know what to write that can come close to how I feel about this novella. For lack of better words..I friggin loved it. It's sick, twisted, raunchy, uninhibited and I inhaled these pages as if I were starved. I need more...so so so much more. July 25th can't come soon enough. Highly recommend Taken to those of you who like some twisted, raw, gritty reads. I will definitely be re reading this over and over until Tied - book 2 releases the end of July.
A descriptive, dangerous, dark story of a couple who find themselves in a room and are made to answer to a voice emanating from a speakers. Is this a horror story, a dark one or some combination there of? There is a cliffhanger and I have been ensnared into this story as much as the the characters. Who is really the captivated?
WARNING...Taken is a severely dark and gritty Novella.... If you have a weak stomach, this novella is not for you. If you cringe at the thought of blood and uncomfortable situations....this novella is not for you. If you do not like feeling like a total psychopath after reading said novella....turn around and look elsewhere because this novella is not for you. But.. If you want to be a REBEL and say Fuck it, I'm reading this dark and gritty novella EVEN THOUGH it is outside of my comfort zone..(That's pretty KICKASS and I admire you tenacity)...but...YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
***************************************************************************** Taken is book one in the Voyeur Series.
I feel like a total psychopath due to the fact that this novel dug its razor sharp claws in me and wouldn't let go until I finished! I read this in one sitting and in under an hour!
Ivy and Noah..two best friends...wake up to find they've been drugged, kidnapped, and are now being held in what I can only describe as a sex dungeon. This mystery slowly starts to unravel as a creepy mysterious woman's voice starts ordering them to take part in her demands. Very SEXY demands.
Taken reminds me of the movie saw; only instead of cutting arms and legs off in order to save themselves, Noah and Ivy have to follow this creepy woman's orders to survive. If they slip up and refuse, they are punished.
As I stated above. I feel like a total psychopath, because even though I literally cringed throughout this novella, I loved it and couldn't put it down. The intensity between the characters and the torture they endured was through the charts crazy!
The fear was lifelike!
I need the next book....right now.....I need to know what happens!!!!!
My second book by N. Isabelle Blanco and my first by Elena M. Reyes! These two really know how to capture your interest! The blurb totally intrigued me and I was so sold!
Taken packs a real punch in this steamy, twisted, disturbing, dirty, deranged, depraved, screwed up, and fast paced read!
Noah and Ivy have been drugged and kidnapped.
“There’s a sick part of me that relishes in this madness. Craves him. My Noah. We’ve been dealt our cards; there is no escape. We must accept our fate.”
We haven’t found out who took them, why they were taken, why they were chosen, the end game of the captor, and or if they will even survive after all of this! AND I NEED TO KNOW ALL THE ANSWERS!!
“Either we fuck each other or we die.”
I do wish there was a bit of development, so we know the clear history between Noah and Ivy besides their friendship! I do love how protective Noah is of Ivy though and the clear affection and lust he has for her. Ivy seems the same for Noah.
Seems these two have some explaining to do 😉
“The dark is safer. The dark is comforting. In the dark, I can hide from reality. I can hide from him.”
Nevertheless, this story took me by surprise! I’m itching to know more and with how short of read it is, I’ll likely finish up the series quick! It’s a real page turner!
Taken ends on a cliffhanger and begging for more! So if cliffhangers aren’t your thing, I’d say this isn’t for you! But if your into delayed gratification and enjoy a little depravation, take a read on this number... it sure won’t disappoint!
“We were set up. She pushed us to this point. She wanted us to fail.”
HOLY SH@T!!!!! This is one dark, deranged taboo read. I F*CK$NG LOVED IT!!!! 5+ STARS!!!
I literally have not read a more disturbed book in my entire life. I am all about reading dark books, but this is by far the darkest. I couldn't put this book down, I really did seclude myself in my room just to devour it. Ivy and Noah are both in a very compromising situation, and I am chopping at the bit to see how this story concludes.
I am not kidding when I say this is a very disturbing read, it is not for the faint heart, and if you don't like taboo dirty reads, then I highly recommend you don't read this book. However, if you are like me and love the kinky freaky stuff, look no further and buy this book TODAY!!! You seriously won't be disappointed.
Was not expecting to love this as much ad I did. Oh this grabbed me in and I couldn't put down. Its dark twisted and I loved it so much. I need the other book now. What a amazing ride. A must read. A wonderful start to a series. 5 dark stars.
