Underground Knowledge #7

Underground Bases

Rate this book
What do the world’s superpowers get up to in their secret underground bunkers?

UNDERGROUND BASES: Subterranean Military Facilities and the Cities Beneath Our Feet, by novelists, filmmakers and independent researchers James Morcan & Lance Morcan, details confirmed and rumored underground facilities in the United States and around the world. Containing rare photographic evidence throughout as well as little-known quotes from key government figures, it makes a compelling case for there being an enormous hidden world under the Earth's surface.

The Morcans speculate that the covert underground infrastructure may be far bigger than anyone has previously supposed and is likely used for the development of suppressed technologies. Their sources include declassified files, university reports, WikiLeaks’ documents and interviews with ex-military personnel turned whistleblowers who claim to have worked in “cities below ground”.

UNDERGROUND BASES delivers a vast array of facts and theories that ultimately allows readers to form their own conclusions. The exposé covers everything from: the US Department of Defense’s verified evacuation areas beneath the White House and the Pentagon as well as their acknowledged sites at Mount Weather and Cheyenne Mountain; underground facilities around the world including Russia’s sprawling Mezhgorye complex and Australia’s CIA-managed Pine Gap; the long-forgotten newspaper headlines which reported that Adolf Hitler and senior SS officers may have built a Nazi colony beneath Antarctica after WW2; rumors that human-alien joint ventures are occurring below ground and that kidnapped citizens are being detained in subterranean prisons for illegal medical experimentation such as cloning.

Why are the Global Elite spending trillions of dollars of their black budgets to build such vast networks of underground (and undersea and under-ice) sites? Are they simply preparing for emergencies as per official government explanations? Do they believe an Armageddon scenario is imminent? Are they secretly collaborating with extraterrestrials? Or, are they literally creating a breakaway civilization separate to the rest of humanity?

To attempt to address these and other questions, UNDERGROUND BASES takes readers on a vicarious journey into miles-deep military bases and other subterranean facilities not known to the general public.

This is book #7 in the Underground series and follows the same quality research and gathering of information as the other Underground books. This book probably introduced more new material to me than any of the other books. After reading it, I'm left speechless and with only one thought:' If truth really is stranger than fiction, then this book would be the poster child.'

Before reading this book, I had no idea of all the underground/cave activities going on around the world. This book opened up a whole new world for me to research and I have found out that much of this was actually information readily available to me, but I never tripped down that rabbit hole until now... I'm glad I did!

The great thing about these Underground books is that they bring into light materials that have been swept aside by the mainstream media and therefore easily forgotten. These books are great reminders that there is basically an alternate history of mankind out there that is being buried... until now :)

I have read The Catcher in the Rye Enigma from the underground Knowledge series and that was very good, well structured writing, lots of arguments and evidence and I came away nodding my head at the end. Underground Bases is not as good, it seems very rushed. No real evidence provided, quotes on theories (some were very silly, I was gonna include one but don't think it is fair on the book as a whole) and very little discussion on known underground structures. The book seems to jump into tin-foil hat land very quickly. The chapter showing opinions on a goodreads group discussion was a very good touch.

My personal beliefs on this subject is there are vast underground structures, the London Underground for one example, that is a huge network of tunnels and open spaces and for some reason it barely gets a mention in this book as an example of what is possible. There is no mention of Finland's underground "city" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFFhe...

The book goes very deep into the conspiracies, aliens, splinter civilisations and secret tunnels built by Marilyn Monroe (I could have that last one wrong). :-)

Don't get me wrong this is a very interesting "taster"? on this subject, guaranteed to make you want to go do your own research, I just wish the research had a bit more...….depth.

Ever since Journey to the Centre of the Earth was published, people have wondered whether there could exist secret underground cities/bases/tunnels/civilisations (and Hollow Earth theories may have even preceded). Having read about most every conspiracy theory going, I’m not new to the idea of there being secret underground places, but it’s one area that I’ve never actually read much about to make an informed opinion. The idea of a splinter civilisation with underground cities certainly sounds like a work by Jules Verne, but could there be some truth to this?

The authors of Underground Bases do a great job of presenting the key facts and theories surrounding the notions. Firstly, you have underground bases that are absolute fact, such as: Mount Weather, Cheyenne Mountain and Pine Gap. Then you have very likely things like there being secret underground levels beneath The Pentagon. So when it comes to contemplating outlandish ideas like there being whole underground cities, with high speed transport in vast tunnels, the idea doesn’t sound quite as preposterous as it may have done out of the blue. ‘They’ have the money (trillions of dollars that went missing from government funds, for instance), ‘they’ have the machinery, and ‘they’ have the workers, so isn’t it logical to suppose that elite controllers of the world would create vast underground bases/cities if they could?

This isn’t always just speculation either. The authors of this book give some great examples of whistle blowers, leaks and reports. There are quotes from top military personnel as well as people who have apparently worked in these underground cities.

This book also touches upon the many rumours that aliens are secretly ruling our planet from below the surface. I particularly found the story of Philip Schneider to be compelling. He “claimed to have been involved in a firefight that broke out with extra-terrestrials while he was building additions to the underground military base at Dulce, New Mexico, in 1979”. Schneider also claimed that the alien technology being developed underground was 1200 years in advance of our own technology. That makes you think. Schneider even had alien fossils and classified photos that he showed at lectures. But they’ve since disappeared, and Schneider himself (after stating there had been numerous attempts to kill him by government agents) died mysteriously.

So, from natural cave formations, to factual military bases, to rumours of underground networked cities, to aliens living beneath our feet, this book does a good job of showing how after a) is proved, it’s no longer so fanciful to believe that b) may be true.

I loved this quote in the book: “According to our best estimates, more than half of all U.S. government records are classified. For an archivist seeking to preserve and understand our history, that means most of our history is kept secret from us, think about that for a moment.” –Richard Dolan.

The book also asks you to consider this statement made by Daniel K. Inouye, US Senator from Hawaii, in his testimony at the 1987 Iran-Contra Hearings: “There exists a shadowy government, with its own Air Force, its own Navy, its own fundraising mechanism, and the ability to pursue its own ideas of national interest, free from all checks and balances, and free from the law itself.” Where better to hide it, than under your feet?

UNDERGROUND BASES: Subterranean Military Facilities and the Cities Beneath Our Feet by James Morcan & Lance Morcan

In the seventh Underground series the possibility of rumored and confirmed underground facilitates in the United States and around the world. Well researched with some quotes from Government officials, rare photos, and information discovered.

The Authors find that underground facilities and possible cities may be more probable than most people think. From information obtained by former military and "Whistle-blowers" this possibility does not seem so far fetched.

A very compelling story which really left me wondering. In an ever changing society, there are many possibilities that years ago seemed unlikely. The thought about these underground facilities now seem ever more probable and leaves me wondering how much more is being hidden that I (we) just don't know about. I highly recommend UNDERGROUND BASES: Subterranean Military Facilities and the Cities Beneath Our Feet.

This is a more of a primer than an in-depth discussion. It introduces the ideas around the bases without taking sides. I've already done a lot of research and was familiar with most of the stories presented. If I hadn't had any exposure, this would have been a great place to start my own research. As it was, it was a good recap and covered most of what I know. If you don't know anything about the subject, this is a great start. For me, it is a good resource to reference other research.

Good book on the truth about underground bases and cities! This is a subject that more people should be taking a lot more seriously, and discussing!

If you like Ground Zero Media ... and Coast to Coast and Conspiracy Theory this book will please you. The authors combine speculation and tidbits of truth to create a collection of potential X-files episodes.

Are there underground facilities? Yes of course there are. Are they controlled by the Illuminati or Aliens? Probably not.

The book is chock full of references to the the authors' other books in the series, to another series by the authors, to an episode of Jesse Ventura's Conspiracy Theory show. And features all the regular CS sites; Denver Airport, Dulce, Area 51.

Hated it.

Full of conjecture, short on facts. My tinfoil hat wasn't nearly tight enough to appreciate this flight of fancy. I gave it 1 star because there wasn't a way to give it 0 stars.

D.U.M.B. is the topic

Studying Deep Underground Millitary Bases is controversial topic to say the least, but this book became completely unbelievable when a "supposed" picture of Dulce Base is a screenshot from Ancient Aliens Season 4. And the actual tunnel they have pictured for the same base is from a naval museum in Japan.

Okay as a basic introduction, but that's about it - if you've all but the most basic familiarity with the subject matter therein, you already know enough to write such a book for yourself.

Oh dear am I disappointed!

What wasn’t imagined is all ready we’ll known. Not much to read at all. I need to learn how to avoid books like this.
one star is really to much.
