Goalkeepers,are one the most important people on the team. He is the last line of defense of the team. He knows that a single mistake can cause them a team victory.They have different skills from the other teammates he can be doing nothing but if the other team grabs the ball and goes for a counter attack he are the only one. The recent law is that if your own teammate gives the goalkeeper the ball he can not hold it in his hands. Which made the game much harder for the goalkeepers.

Part of soccer's appeal is the tactical element. Coaches and managers try to outwit the other team by keeping there tactics secret until the game. Since soccer began, teams have changed formations trying to play a way that would take the other team by surprise. Life for a soccer player is not just money, fame, and playing games the also have training, fitness, and recovery from injuries are day-to-day concerns for the modern player.

This is a great non-fiction book. It is very detailed and includes everything that there is to know about soccer. It gives information from skills and aspects of soccer to famous soccer players. Also, this book teaches the readers many useful tips that can be used when playing soccer. For example, there is a procedure on how to successfully use the "bicycle kick" (pg.19). Another excellent detail of this book, is that it shows the readers different soccer player's positions and what they need to do. This helped me very much, because it showed how different soccer players become respected using their different skills. I personally enjoyed this book very much, not only because I like soccer, but because it gives a great deal of information about it. I recommend this book to anyone who is interested in non-fiction, sports, or soccer.

I read this book and it mostly talks about soccer . It mostly talks about old famous people such as Pele He was on of the best players in soccer. It also talks about how to control the ball. Even there are different kind of passes and shots. There is 5 types of passes long pass, short pass, backward pass, piercing pass, and wall pass. There is 50 kinds of shots and I cant mention them. I like this book for different reasons. First, because it tells you important parts of soccer. Second, it has important careers which also helps you in some history. Finally,it tells you about how soccer was developed.

This book is mostly about soccer. Some other books are about something else other than there title. It has a lot of great facts in every subtitle. I also like that it has lots of pictures to explain the text. Next to the pictures it has a caption also explaining the picture too. That is my review of the book called Soccer.

This is an okay book. It has a lot of good information about soccer. Also it has nice pictures to explain if you are new to soccer. I suggest you read this book if you like soccer.
