Jake and Sammy Jo are smitten from the first moment they see each other, and when they start talking about the wish list she made with her grandma, he decides to help her achieve the things she was planning to do and this opens the way for a great love story. Cute story

What a sweet, sweet story! I loved the way these two characters seemed like opposites, yet were meant to be together. Sammy Jo definitely felt that she and Jake were very different. She could not help but be interested and attracted to Jake, however, she did not think she had a chance of being the woman for him.

Jake was a wonderful character. He never had a desire to settle down and start a family as all of his brothers and sisters had done. Yet, even though he had some fear regarding commitment, it was fun to watch as his heart began to change regarding falling in love.

This was a fun story with two characters that were extremely likable. It is the tenth book in the Windswept Bay series, yet can be read as a stand alone short novel. Characters from other books make reappearances, but the story can stand on its own.

I have come to love this series, and as each of the Sinclair siblings finds their HEA, a little piece of my heart goes with them. The last of them unattached is ex-Navy SEAL Jake Sinclair, the adventure seeker, and dive shop owner. The one that is never going to get attached.
But when the space next to his dive shop is leased by Sammy Jo, he is smitten from the moment he sees her. Sammy Jo on the other hand, has lived a sheltered life and is by no means a risk taker. Shortly before her gram passed away, they both wrote a bucket list for Sammy Jo to accomplish in both their names. Starting by moving and opening a clothing shop in Windswept Bay, the place where her grandparents met and fell in love. Jake takes it upon himself to help Sammy Jo check off the items of the bucket list. But it’s not a smooth ride.
Paraphrasing the author, will Sammy Jo be the woman to balance Jake and fill him with the peace and joy he longs for? Or will both be afraid to take that risk?
Watching Sammy Jo and Jake get to know each other, and interact, was sweet , at times heartbreaking, but also heartwarming. Revisiting with the rest of the Sinclair siblings was a treat as well.
A well written short novel that will touch your hearts.

Finally, we get to read Jake's story. And, it was worth the wait! I truly fell in love with Jake. He's the ultimate book boyfriend.

Jake has a history of avoiding commitment. However, his new neighbor is about to challenge him on that. When he spies her bucket list, he's more than ready to help her fulfill each item on the list.

Sammy Jo is trying to expand her world and take new adventures. That's why she's moved to Windswept Bay and opened a new store. But, when Jake offers to help her check off her bucket list, it might be more than she can handle.

Although there's not that much conflict in the story, it does focus on the central themes of insecurity and self-confidence. Do you necessarily have force yourself to do risky things to believe in yourself? Or do you seek out things you would possibly like to do anyway and focus on them instead? And, just because you don't like to do something doesn't mean that others won't like you because of it.

Jake Sinclair enjoys dating but he's not the marrying type. When a new tenant rents the other side of his dive shop...things change. He still doesn't want to marry but the beautiful shop owner has him feeling off course.

Sammy Jo Lovely is starting over. She's never been adventurous, but she's going to try and complete the bucket list she and her grandmother wrote up. Since her gran passed away, she got one thing done—moved to Windswept Bay and opened a shop. And she thinks that it would be nice to accomplish a few things with her handsome neighbor...like a kiss on a moonlit beach. Problem is, he's adventurous and she's not. They'd be like oil and water.

The last of the Sinclair siblings has been holding out on love...until now. I've really enjoyed reading these stories. The beautiful ocean, learning about sea turtle rescue, and wonderfully sweet happily-ever-afters.

I have read all the books in this series and I'm sad to see it end. Debra Clopton is one of my favorite authors and I love her "series" books that involve family members.

Jake accidentally sees Sammy's bucket list as he helps her move into her shop next door, so he starts to help her check things off her list. Things like scuba diving, kissing a man on a romantic beach, open her own business...

It was especially funny in chapter 1 how they first met each other outside Jake's dive shop.

I loved their romantic chemistry, friendship and how they communicated with each other. I especially liked how Jake explained to Sammy about the purpose of her bucket list and what SHE wants to do, not what she thinks Granny wants her to do.

Good steady plot-clean, romantic, fun christian fiction book and series. Absolutely loved it and read it in one night!!

Sammy Jo Lovely has taken a very big risk and moved to Windswept Bay to change her life. She can hardly keep her eyes off her handsome neighbor, Jake Sinclair, who owns the dive shop next door. Jake is very happy to help his lovely new neighbor check off items on her bucket list, especially with a "kiss on a moonlit beach" but he doesn't get involved in relationships. What will it take for Sammy Jo to take some risks and for Jake to trust his feelings?

This is the last of the Windswept Bay series, but it's not necessary to have read the earlier stories. All of the Sinclair siblings are mentioned here along with their new spouses. The Sinclair women are very friendly to Sammy Jo and she values their friendships. I have loved reading this series and will miss Windswept Bay.

This was a fantastic story. It was amazing how Jake and Sammy Jo met. The way he took her on a date and all of a sudden his whole family is after him to admit how he feels about her. How Jake kept fulfilling her bucket list was good. At the end when she admitted that she was afraid of enclosed spaces like diving into the sea. Then Jake forced her to spend the rest of the afternoon with her was great. Then the happily ever after of the story was the culmination of a great read. I loved this book and could not put it down until I finished it. I would recommend this book to everyone. The suspense throughout the book with just a little steam was so well written. The plot was so believable. I received a free copy of this book but I am leaving this review of my own free will.

This was a sweet, well-written book. Sammy Jo Lovely made a bucket list and promised her grandma she would fulfill the list. She moved to Windswept Bay after her grandma passed away. Dive shop owner, Jake Sinclair, sees Sammy Jo moving in next door and is intrigued when he notices her bucket list. It was heartwarming to read about the development of the relationship between Sammy Jo and Jake. This book can be read as a standalone story, though it is #10 in the Windswept Bay series. I enjoyed this book and I look forward to reading more books by this author.

Sammy Jo doesn't feel that she is very adventurous yet she moves to a new town where she doesn't know anybody and decides to expand her online business with a retail store. Jake is the last of his siblings that is still single and he can't stop himself from falling for his klutzy neighbor. Loved the humor in this story and the matchmaking efforts by many of the Sinclair family, including the mother. Great ending to this series.

Debra Clopton has done it again! Book 10 in the Windswept Bay series features hunky, former Navy Seal Jake Sinclair and quiet Sammy Jo Lovely who opens a boutique next door to Jakes’ dive shop! Sammy Jo has spent most of her life taking care of her disabled grandparents so meeting the lively Sinclairs is quite a challenge. You will love Debra’s latest sweet romance! With This Forever is book ten in the Windswept Bay series. Sammy Jo moves to Windswept Bay to change her life. She promised her grandmother that she would do more, take more risks. So now she is on a mission to do just that. When she meets her neighbor, Jake, he offers to help her check things off on her bucket list. What ensues is a fun and interesting time between them. I really enjoyed this story. I highly recommend it.

Opposites Attract

I love this series! The characters are developed into folks you want to know better. A risk taker man and a lady who wants to take risks but is often not able to gather up enough courage. The book ended before I was ready to stop reading. So get this book and discover for yourself the joy of living your dream life.

A beautiful conclusion

I have enjoyed reading about the Sinclair siblings and going on their journeys to love, but I’m going to miss them. Jake’s and Sammy’s story was a treasure to read and I think she is just what he needs to balance out his life. If you’re looking for a series that is a big believer in family, then you will love this series.

Forever

Such a sweet story to complete the Windswept Bay series. The least of the sons who everyone thought would stay single meats his new neighbor and his feelings change. His neighbor still experiencing grief is brought into being adventurous and their story unfolds. A great ending.

So sad to see the end of this series - wish there were more siblings!!! Sammy Jo has lead a sheltered life and doesn't have the best view of herself. Jake has avoided commitment and doesn't see himself falling in love. He is her hero more than once and sparks fly. Loved the bucket list and Jake's view of it. Can these two find love where they least expect it?
