Damaged

"Now I'm going to ruin you."
I found the way out.
Yet, Ivy doesn’t know it. Haven’t been able to tell her.
My plan is incomplete. Possibly flawed. The exit from this room is almost in the palm of my hand.
But there’s no telling what truly lies on the other side of that wall.
How the hell we’ll survive escaping this place.
How damaged we’ll be.
Jamie’s life is in our hands—one wrong move from us will be her end and yet, I can’t afford to let that stop me.
Fuck no.
I’ll forsake their lives without so much as a blink to get us out. Their blood on my hands I’ll wear with pride.
To survive I’ll kill every last one of them.
It’s time we finally escape.
We’ll die if we don’t.

So we are back with Noah and Ivy, they are still being kept in some weird place full of rooms and evil. In this installment we are treated to both Noah and Ivy's POV which I liked and to keep things more interesting both Noah and Ivy get out of that room, but not for anything good I should add.

Now that Ivy and Noah have figured out who their captor is I was kind of hoping for more answers, of course that didn't happen I only have more questions. Who is the male 'master' that their captor answers too? Should I have picked up on who it is? Well I didn't. I did find that this one had heaps more going on which made for an exciting read.

 photo runningdownhall_zpsv3z19fc4.gif

Poor Noah, I felt really bad for him as the captor's played their sick games on him all the while keeping him doped up on whatever the drug is they give him. The part where Noah was running through the dark halls trying to find Ivy, had my heart in my throat the whole time. As usual the sex was hot and intense.

This series is seriously messed up lots of blood and freaky characters, there is no way you can get bored. For me this series is very unrealistic which I usually don't like but I am really enjoying in this series.

OMG!! That's just super mean ending it like that, I NEED want the next book so bad right now.

Damaged is the fourth book in The Voyeur series by Elena M. Reyes and N. Isabelle Blanco. Every installment of this story has held my attention, excited me, and made me crave more. This one was no exception!

 photo image-1_zpsxpk0i4se.gif

Noah and Ivy were kidnapped and locked naked in a room where they have been repeatedly drugged, starved, witnessed their loved ones die horrific deaths, forced to perform sexual acts for an audience, and had their minds tortured to the point of near insanity all under the orders of a disembodied female voice coming through speakers where they are being held. While they may not see the woman in charge, there is always a host of strange and terrifying people that help to carry out sinister acts at her behest.

This segment of the story was slightly different from the others. Noah and Ivy didn't spend the majority of their time in one room. They were out of their cell for most of the book, but what they found outside of it was just as unsettling as what they were subjected to inside.

 photo giphy-27_zpshhbwzvz5.gif

Our characters finally get to see the woman behind the operation, and she is exactly who Ivy thought she was. The surprising thing is she's not alone! There's a masked man that has been a part of this whole thing the entire time! His identity remains a mystery, but I have a few ideas as to who he might be. I'm anxious to see if I'm right! As unexpected as that was, the most shocking part of the story actually happens on the very last page. I'm not going to tell what it is though. You have to read and find out for yourself. Muahahaha!

 photo giphy-12_zpssdkdsrwo.gif

Damaged is a well written dark romance full of suspense, steam, and a whole lot of crazy! The authors' writing never fails to draw me in on the first page, and I always read these books straight through. They're impossible to put down!

I've been having my mind toyed with along with Noah and Ivy since the beginning, so I couldn't be more excited to be close to the conclusion! I'm dying to know the answers to all of my questions, and I'm praying I get to see them make it out of this alive! If you like your romance with a side of psycho, this is definitely the series for you!

"Everything’s a game. Survival of the motherfucking fittest."

I pulled through to the end of the series folks. (is it the end... who knows...)
Did it pay off? No.
Will I get those couple hours of my life back again? No.
Do I regret it? No.

Although the Voyeur series went on a downward spiral for me, it got a lot of 4 and 5 star ratings from people that I trust on here. With reason, I can see where the love is coming from - the premise of this series is hot and it pulls you in right from the start. I really don't regret reading it, because there is nothing like it out there. That is the true origin of creativity and I'm grateful I got to experience it.

________________

On To The Nitty Gritty
The love was intense in this addition. It was practically palpable off the pages, it truly lived up to the climax that readers were waiting for. However, that was the only good facet of this book for me.

“Bring her back or I’ll burn this entire place down.”
My jaw aches from how hard I’m gritting my teeth. Even I can’t deny the volatile danger in my voice. “Is that a threat, Mr. Barker... You are in no position to—”
“It’s a motherfucking promise.”

Here's a confession:
I really did not know what the fuck was going on half the time. There were new but not introduced characters added, there were dramatic changes in tone and mood, there was shit happening that I didn't know how it lead up to that shit happening. No to mention, the whole middle section of the book - I was lost. Completely.

So in a way, this rating might be based on personal fault. However, the last two books in this series didn't hit any highs with my review scale... So I'm thinking, I'm okay with being the evil neutral here.

There was a critical plot point in the story, that not only did the characters brush over.. but this happened right after:

"My pussy throbs at the friction."

I had so many of those ?!?!?!? moments, that I ended up putting off this review, until after I cooled down from all the ??!?!!. So this review that you're reading here, is actually Alex, after a couple of days of inhaling and exhaling.

WOWZA!! The situation for Noah and Ivy is more intense than ever. Now that they know one of the players involved, they’ve got to use this knowledge to their advantage. But what edge do they really have when they’re surrounded by crazy? What do they do when everything they’ve suffered through and will continue to endure makes them question their own sanity?

With no weapons at their disposal, no clothes, and with them constantly being drugged up all the time, I’m extremely curious as to how they’ll get out of this. Someone they both care about is still in danger and if they don’t continue to pretend to play the game, another life will be taken.

However, this particular installment gave me hope. With the way things have been going it could be false hope, but I’ll take it. Once again, these authors tortured my mind in the most beautiful of ways. I was completely drawn into the torment these characters were put through and while I’m rooting for some sort of happy ending, I’m enjoying the sweetness of the dark ride to get there.

And after the events at the end of book three where we seem to have one part of a who but not a why.
Things are really starting to heat up for Ivy and Noah.
So after another session of drugging poor Noah much to his distress awakens to find his Ivy missing.
Vanished.
Left the building.
And the gates of there prison are now wide open to play.

So as Noah is going nutty searching for his love there are still so many questions to be answered.

Who is the familiar masked male?
Why is this happening?
Will they make it out of this nightmare alive and together?
And that finale is it real or just another sick torturous game to mess with there psyches.

Noah and Ivy, I will be praying for you both.
After finally connecting you need and deserve a happy ending.
Just keep your pants zipped for now you need to concentrate on escaping not shagging.
Plenty of time to swing from the chandeliers later.
I so need the next piece of this addictive puzzle like now sigh.

** Review by Gayle from Bloggers From Down Under **

If you are like me and followed the this amazing series from the very beginning, then you know just like me that Damaged is finally....Finally going to give us a few answers.

Ivy and Noah are still being kept, still being watched, still being made to do the most depraved and intimate things to each other. But this time they have an audience. Whereas before they knew that only one was watching, now they have a whole audience to entertain.

They are both now finally aware of who took them to begin with. Even though they both don't voice it, they are both hoping they can use it when they escape and feel freedom.

But now there is a new player. Someone who watches their every move. Someone who likes to order them to do things......He's calm, collected and dresses like a man with power. But his face is always hidden.

So why is it that both Ivy and Noah see him as familiar?
Why is it that both Ivy and Noah seem to know him, but they just can't remember from where?
Who is he?
And why is he playing the game with the evil monster that pierces both Ivy and Noah's soul with demands that even we as people just simply cannot imagine?

Who is this duo?
And what do they want?

Can Ivy and Noah survive the depths of hell?
How far can they be pushed before they break both physically and emotionally?
What happens when the monsters decide to change the game and keep both Ivy and Noah separated?
Who's blood will spill?
Who will lose their mind?
Who will be victorious?

Guys again these amazing ladies have given us another grueling installment of the Voyeur series. Twisted, dark, raw and gritty, my mind is still trying to catch up with what I just read. These girls have consistently given us a mind manipulation with this series and Damaged has delivered yet another torment of the mind.

I absolutely loved it.

But be warned....The ending will leave you.....Hmmm what would be the best way to describe it.......

Completely tormented psychologically!!!

I just read all 4 of these installment for them to end with a CLIFFHANGER? No closure!? I thought this was the final installment?!?! That’s just not right… Well, below are the notes I took BEFORE I read the horrific ending that left me hanging and beyond unhappy with the authors.

Like I wrote in my review of the last installment, this series is extremely unrealistic. It’s hard for me to even imagine a way that Valerie + 50 or so people with the same taste could secretly congregate as an audience, observing Ivy and Noah 24/7 without sleeping etc.. That combined with the complexity and expense of the setting makes this storyline The opposite of believable. Despite all of this, it is still damn entertaining!

I was disappointed that the authors had Ivy and Noah shower again, practically repeating the same scene we read in an earlier installment. These authors are obviously imaginative so I was expecting something less repetitive and more innovative. There are some innovative things that happen in this installment though.... We find out that Valerie is not alone; she is the Mistress yet there is also a Master calling the shots too.

Things really get exciting when Ivy and Noah are separated. However, as I typed with anger at the beginning of this review, there is absolutely zero conclusion to this, “series” so there’s no point in reading it. I feel like I was robbed and am SOOOOOOO angry! I need to find out if there will be more installments but even if there are, i’m not sure I will read them.... I do not want to keep reading cliffhanger after cliffhanger, never knowing if I’ll find out what happens to Ivy and Noah!

“Forget hatred. Forget loathing. This is something way beyond that. An evil in my heart so vicious I can’t help but be frightened by it. I want her blood on my hands almost more than I want to be with Noah right now.”

I went into this book looking for answers. Will they escape? Will they get revenge? Not all my questions were answered but this book draws you in and you have no choice but to play the twisted psychological mind games.

Noah and Ivy are still at the mercy of sick and deprived individuals. They are looking for a way out of this nightmare and still holding on to hope. But what will the cost of freedom be?

This series is a “whirlwind of dark emotion”. Right when things looked the worst, BAM....what???? Oh my god!!! That ending!!! What just happened and what is coming next? I cannot get enough of this series. If you like intense dark reads this one is a must.

“My heart races with newfound excitement, hope, and bloodlust, but just as last time, my expression remains flat.”

Have they finally slipped up?? Noah has spotted something and oh does it lift your heart to read it!!!!!

There's a strange man that suddenly appears very vocal in the audience.....and seems to be pro ivy and Noah.....is this for real?
As they come back from a bath alone and an hour together, the stranger is alone in the viewing booth. Noah is planning to put his plan into action as soon as they're as alone as they can be......

Noah awakes alone. Ivy is gone. Distraught he screams out to try to find her....they let him out the room and he runs the maze of hallways trying to find her......

but all he finds is the creepy sadistic Nun Agnes. And the lights keep flickering on and off.....

ivy is also wandering the corridors.....

But so are the other creepy torturers....

And then the lights go out totally.

4.5 stars....oh man this book, this series! I absolutely love it and hate it. I love the story and the characters, but I hate that only a few things were resolved during the course of the book and another mystery pops up! That's good for keeping the readers coming back for more but absolutely NOT good for my nerves!!

Will I keep reading Noah and Ivy's story....hell yes! I am usually someone who doesn't start a series until the whole things is complete and I can start from finish to end but I'm strayed from the norm here...both in reading an on-going series and the type of book it is. To be honest, I'm loving this!

So... We are back with Ivy and Noah. They are still in danger. The games are still being played. They are as dark and twisted as ever. There were moments throughout the story, I didn't want to turn the page because I was worried what might happen.

The characters who play Master and Misteress need to just be six feet under. They are so bloody evil. They play on Ivy and Noah's emotions. Use other people to get what they want. I don't know how this will end. I don't know how Ivy and Noah will make it out on the other side but I'm hoping for the best.

Book four in this series continues the story but adds little to the plot. Gaining a Master, as well as the Mistress who they both know recognise, Noah and Ivy are still blind to the bigger picture only aware that they are players in a game that end in their deaths. Knowledge is power but they are too drugged to actually plan how to escape, too caught up in the allure of each other to actually prioritise the situation and the impact events have on them. This series started off with so much promise and yet I have to admit I’m half hoping they both just die, as I have lost all hope that they can take the masters down and end the game once and for all. It’s escalated from a woman who hates them out of envy to a well funded organisation with enough power to have its own army and its clear this isn’t the first time this game has been played so I struggle to see how they can defeat them which makes Noah’s threats empty and in vain. Book four delivers more threats, violence, torture and sex. The premise is still good and different but the pace lets the series down and the lack of answers is frustrating. That said I’m not giving up as I really want to know what happens and who and why... my only fear is I won’t get the answers to all the questions.

A three star blood and sex read.

Let the torment continue…

What an absolute mindfuck! I’d be scared shitless and would have died a thousand deaths already having done all this to me.
But let’s just take a moment to appreciate this awesome cover!! Oh my!! I love it now even more after I’ve read the book =P

So, the story picked up where it last left off which I liked a lot, but I suppose it’s kind of required with this kind of story anyway.

We already know from the previous book who the puppeteer is and now another master was entered into the game. Very exciting!! The story was absolutely captivating and had me glued to the pages.

Although it was again a very short read, it was as intense as the previous ones but focused more on the mental aspect than the physical one. The captors wanted to finally break their puppets last resistance and played with their minds in a scary way.

Valerie, and her ever-present anger, was as arrogant as always, driven to ruin Ivy and Noah. Will she succeed with her cruel game in the end or do her dolls have a chance to escape in time? It keeps us guessing and hoping.

Ivy and Noah’s emotions were kept heightened from the drugs though it wasn’t just animalistic lust but also intense fear that kept them on their toes. It got a lot harder for them to keep their sanity and not break apart. Especially as they’re aware that eventually after all their torture, their deaths will await, because their suffering and obedience was never enough. The ultimate goal was always for them to die.

It feels like the books get shorter and shorter. Not sure about the actual length though, it just feels that way. I wished it was longer and finally gave us an ending or just some more though we did get a very short but very intense and edge gripping suspense, not to mention the cliffhanger at the end.

The authors really know how to keep this twisted game going and have the characters on the edge of losing all self-control.

Some very interesting events took place in this book and left me speechless at the end! It was absolutely killing me! I really need more! Give me more! Now! Pretty please! =P

✨ DREAMY’S REVIEW ✨

Damaged is the fourth book in the Voyeur series by N. Isabelle Blanco and Elena M. Reyes and FINALLY. . .

Damaged finally shows us that there are multiple people behind this sick and twisted game. We also know that there’s someone who she doesn’t sass her attitude towards, so who’s really in charge?

... And the situation for Noah and Ivy is more intense than ever!

“Everything’s a game. Survival of the motherfucking fittest.”

They have nothing at their disposal, at the tip of their hands. They’re stripped of anything that could be useful for survival, even their inhibitions. They’re in a constant drug-induced haze and in lust with each other because of it.

Yet Noah’s fierce, protective, loyal side always pulls through for Ivy. And I love how smart Ivy is getting with each book.

I’m in total love with their loyalty, love, and commitment to each other throughout this whole shit storm! It gives me hope,

But I can’t lie, some of the people creep me the fuck out in this series. Especially the nun. She definitely is creepy and twisted.

“These people are meticulous. Sick. Psychotic.
Smarter than your average human being.
Those that have corrupt souls tend to see what the rest of the population doesn’t. It’s not lack of the intelligence that gets a killer caught, it’s arrogance.”

*****

This series keeps me at the edge of my seat! It feeds my need for some dark and delicious and depraved. And with an ending like that, I can’t wait to see what the conclusion for this series has in store!

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

More twists and turns for our favorite kidnapped couple. More horror is dropped at their feet. More questions and now a new faceless man who is calling the shot as well!!??? HRMM so much is going on but our two are still dedicated to loving each other and trying to figure out how to kill all these people PLUS escape. #MurderIsNotCool

We still hate Valerie, Raoul and the rest of the killer crew but the new person in the crowd has me wondering who it could be….who is from Ivy and maybe Noah’s past that is now making their presence knows in the couple’s torture. The man who is…..over Valerie in this organization?? The man who is …helping them??? NO WAY!! What is going on! #NeededADrink #WTFMomentHappened

This book our couple spends a lot of time apart but still trying to figure out what is happening while dealing with the constant and chronic mind-fuckery that is happening to them compliments of their kidnappers. #LawdIsNoahAnAlphaAlpha #DudeCanTeachAClass #YUMMMMM

This book is a slow and methodical set up for “The Final Act”. I have no clue if that means final book, final abuse or final chance for Valerie to walk away before Noah gets loose. Either way, I am tuning in for more Ivy and Noah.

OMG, this is a shocking book. It is a bit short and does end in a cliffhanger. It is the 4th book in the Voyeur series.

The basic premise is that two best friends, Ivy and Noah are kidnapped and drugged and wake up in a lavish room and are ‘forced’ to do specific things for an audience. In each short edition we get a few more of the puzzle pieces to figure out who is behind the elaborate event, but it isn’t until book 3 that we are finally told who is the mystery voice. Even then we still don’t know why the whole thing was sent in motion. To me it’s going to be one of those that you will want to re-read after the end finally happens to see what clues I missed the first time.

Damaged is coming to the end of their journey. It is a pretty short installment and besides a few more crumbs about who is controlling this game and that there is to be a ball of sorts not much progress is made. There are some very twisted moments and I can’t wait to see how it ends. While it is an intriguing story, I would like to have seen it released in larger pieces as I dislike cliffhangers.

Hero 5 stars / Heroine 5 stars / Steam 4 stars / Plot 4 stars / Overall 4.5 Stars
Keys: Dual POV, MF, Edge of my seat, twists and turns, non-con, triggers.

So, when I first started reading this series, I was highly intrigued by the premise and the darkness and depravity imagined by this duo has me anxious for book two. We’re now at book four and despite my mistaken belief this would provide some kind of ending, we are left with yet another cliffhanger. We’re still in the midst of captivity with Noah and Ivy as they are forced to entertain a sick woman providing commands. The consequences for failing are watching those they know and care about die. They are both pretty sure the only thing in their future is certain death, but they keep a crazy hope they can escape, exact revenge and then live some kind of life together outside the madness they have found themselves thrust into. In this new instalment we do get a new villain added to the mix, but I really feel like this could have been wrapped up already. The cliffhanger hints at a tiny shard of hope for both out two main characters and us, that things will be concluded in the next instalment. I’m going to keep reading because their is a sick kind of magic to this story I need to see to the end.

Noah and Ivy’s imprisonment and torture continues in this fourth installment of the Voyeur series and let me just say. This is making my head spin, I feel woozy after reading it from all the adrenaline rushing around in my bloodstream. These two authors are crazy good at scaring the pants off me. My heart was literally in my mouth at times. Even so, I’m hooked and have been since book 1 to be honest. Horror and gore aren’t my go to genre but these women!! OMG!!
Noah and Ivy are battling hard to find out the truth behind their capture and captivity, but even in the midst of fighting for their lives they lusting after each other. How many others known to them are going to be laid at the feet of the monsters holding them?
And who is ‘the Master’? What does he want?
Why does Valerie hate them so much?
Just what the heck is behind all of this sickness??
Will they ever get free?
Or is the next chapter their last?
So many questions- will we ever get the answers?

On The Edge Of My Seat - understatement to say the least!

This has to be, without a doubt one of the most exhilarating thrillers I have ever read. I am just salivating for the next installment. The story itself is full of evil, manipulation, game playing, mystery, horror, gore, and just plain erotica. I can not repeat enough how worth it is it to read this.

Ivy and Noah are nearing the finish line, to what though?? < the question I need answered desperately! Will they make it out alive or not - and it seriously wouldn’t surprise me in the very least if it goes either way because that’s how completely mind blowing and deranged this book is.

I know for a fact that once the last installment comes out, not only will I read it - I will be sure to reread the whole story it in its entirety again. SO GOOD!

Those that have corrupt souls tend to see what the rest of the population doesn’t. It’s not lack of intelligence that gets a killer caught, but arrogance.

I give up. I absolutely give up!!!! The fuck was that!?! Why a cliff hanger...now!!!! And here I thought this was the last book!?!?

Then

Uwwwiii!!! I am beyond mad. I can't. I give up. Then you find there will be book 5 the ending and book 6 the epilogue and book 7 how-they-are-in-the-future. Nkt!!
