A very comprehensive explanation of what Artificial Intelligence is and how it can be applied in different business scenarios. It sets out a complete roadmap for this technology's adoption for organisations that don't know where to start.
PROS: + good intro to AI for dummies + well explained how business should start evaluating AI & build their automation strategy + quick read
CONS: - AI examples can be more deep with more of context & technical/business details - too much of theory at the first part of the book which becomes too academic, which can be adreseed with real life examples
Summa summarum: a quick read to get your head of around AI and identify your business areas where you could apply it
The overall model of presenting basic capabilities of AI (Image Recognition, NLU, Optimization), etc. and separating of what is possible and what is hype is good. Unfortunately, the author does not go deeper and repeats himself several times - so this small (175 pp) book is becoming a bit boring by the last third. Moreover, by that time it's too much "AI\IT strategy" talk with "AI Heat map" and similar stuff including self-marketing (the author is AI Strategy advisor).
