A handy tool for teachers who are looking for ways to increase their classroom management. While I personally found many of her tips to be quite self-explanatory and/or common sense, I can see this being extremely handy for new teachers. I also learned a few new tricks to try with some individual students who might need some extra support. I plan on keeping this in my classroom to easily grab hold of if I'm needing some new ideas.
As a newer teacher, this book has been an invaluable resource for me. I highly recommend to teachers with all levels of experience. There is something to learn for every educator to better improve their classroom dynamics.
It’s great, I just wish there were more books like this for specialist teachers, especially music teachers. It’s a bit different when you don’t have your own classroom, don’t see students every day, work at multiple schools, etc. Overall great advice though, and some fun stories too.
Great book with some really helpful practices. This is geared more towards middle school but I found a lot of these things I can tweak to make it work for high schoolers.
This book had a lot of really good tips for new teachers, but some of it went on a little long. A few of the tips were kinda repetitive as well, but otherwise it was really helpful:)
