Heart Condition is the startling story of two brave sisters living in an urban community dealing with the younger's life long illness. As they continue to cling to one another in adulthood, the bond between them is tested when one discovers hidden truths about her own unorthodox birth which she never has a chance to address with the other, but probably never has to. The tension rises and falls as the truth is revealed through actions which speak louder than her own beating heart!

May 10, 2024It took me a couple of hours to devour this novella. The story is a testament to the strength of sisterhood.
Definitely a suspenseful page turner. It made me think about how vulnerable we are as we go about our lives. It also serves as a reminder of how important it is to follow your intuition.

The title drew me off after reading the entire book. I couldn't put this book down.
