Hesitant between 3 and 4 stars because it’s a very good introduction to Plato and summarises his philosophy in a way that is not too complicated but also not too simple. What did trouble me was the structure of the book and the fact that there’s a lot of superfluous information. It’s hard to distinguish what you need to retain and what is just extra info.

All in all I would definitely recommend as an intro to Plato but keep in mind that the structure is pretty nonchronological and it’s a lot of info to take in. It’s short but it took me way longer to finish than I expected.

On en apprend beaucoup sur le contexte d'écriture de l'oeuvre. C'est accessible pour tous et très bien écrit.
