It has been 60 years since the technological singularity. Massive AI's control and manage the population of the Solar System. From asteroid mining, simulation centers on Mars, and observation stations deep in the Ort Cloud, modified humans have spread throughout the system. The shipbuilding centers in orbit around Jupiter are building vessels that will travel to the stars.
One unique individual has taken personal modifications to a whole new level. Nanobots replaced his nerves and bones a long time ago. He is now the pilot of the first spaceship humans ever sent to another star.
An interesting book packed full of ideas and plot twists I didn't see coming. The story is a little slow at first but then takes off. I think this may be the author's first effort as the writing style is a little choppy in the first part of the book but still very engaging. With a little practice and polishing I think he's got potential. Definitely worth reading.
