Venya is a young and caring babysitter whose concept of love includes the whole universe.
She faces a baffling crisis when her employer, a wild and reckless drug addict, simply disappears one fine day, dumping her two year old son in search of ecstasy. Shocked, Venya brings the abandoned child to her home and faces the wrath of a hostile society.
Her fiance, a shrewd lawyer, opposes her decision fiercely. But she persists firmly amidst allegations of being an unwed mother. She now happens to meet Sameer, the boy’s divorced father, who feels greatly obliged to her.
The absconding mother finally returns home after three months, jealous and thankless. She boils with rage when she sees her ex-husband with Venya. She completely ignores the tremendous commitment that the babysitter has shown towards her son and labels her as a whore.
Crushed and dejected, Venya leaves for her native village where she starts her new life as a teacher, immersing herself in social work to forget a mean and cruel world.
Meanwhile, her suspicious fiance decides to punish her by targeting Sameer and the vulnerable kid. But he ends up facing the rage of a passionate woman who emerges from her self-imposed exile and breaks all barriers to protect her loved ones.
This is a heartrending story about the intense bond Venya shares with the vulnerable kid and how her own life goes into a spin as she decides not to forsake him. Her confrontation with Kamini, a frustrated junkie who deserts her son in pursuit of an elusive state of bliss, makes for an explosive face off.
And at the other end are two men –one wants to crush her and the other loves her.
As these characters pursue their respective aims with great determination, the ground is finally set for a headlong clash and an electrifying climax where a helpless victim emerges as the ultimate protector.
