Hannah and Rachel are twin sisters who couldn't be more different. Hannah is beautiful and outgoing while Rachel is shy and quiet. Hannah knows that Rachel likes Abraham but that doesn't stop her from stealing him away. How can her sister let a boy come between them and practically make them enemies? Rachel isn't sure what happened but she misses her sister and is willing to sacrifice Abraham and her feelings for him from her sister.

I personally wanted to strangle Hannah at first for what she put Rachel through. Hannah was being mean and spiteful and Rachel didn't deserve it! A great story of love and family and how strong the bond can be.

A heartwarming story about two sisters trying to find love and with both sisters having different personalities. Hannah knows Rachel liked Abraham but went after him before Rachel had a chance. The sisters fight and have a bit of growing up and forgiveness to do. Hannah and Rachel both end up finding love (I won’t say who with as don’t want to spoil it).

I’m looking forward to the other stories in Amish Celebrations.

The Gift of Sisters is a heartwarming, coming of age story written by Beth Wiseman. This story tells of the love between twin sister Hannah and Elizabeth that is standing the trials of dating. I loved the story and how it played out. The author has done a remarkable job of pulling her readers into the story from the first page.

I can't choose just one favorite character because I enjoyed getting to know Hannah, Elizabeth, and Gideon. If I chose a character I didn't like it would be Abraham and I will not explain further. These characters make for a great read. With the twins looking as different as possible we get to see how much they are definitely alike.

I was not given a complimentary copy of this book to read and review. I was not approached by anyone to post a favorable review. I have rated this story with five stars because this story is one that I can highly recommend to others.

Congratulations to Beth Wiseman on releasing a wonderful story for her readers to enjoy.

Amish twin sisters fall for the same guy, but after a couple dates Hannah knows he is not only wrong for her, but wrong for anyone in their community. She continues to date him for a while to protect her sister from his untoward advances. Meanwhile Rachel is roped into a fake relationship with her best friend to lift the spirits of his mother after a diagnosis of diabetes. A series of lies and lying by omission nearly dissolve the girls' relationship and put Rachel at risk of a handsy beau.

It was frustrating at the beginning with Hannah's choice to stay with a bad guy instead of just telling Rachel the truth that he was only interested in sex. It seemed ridiculous, but then I remembered that she was only 15 and thus was probably perfectly logical to her still developing brain.

It was corny at times, but didn't topple into the realm of cheesy.

A tasteful teen romance.

I enjoyed this quick story even though I spent most of the time I was reading it wanting to shake one or the other of the sisters or both! You can always count on a happily ever after with Amish romance stories, even though you might not always predict what the ending will be exactly. I enjoy all the stories by this authors, and I’m sure there will be many more in my future!

This is a great story that holds you to your chair. Rachel and Hannah seem like your typical teenaged twins. Gideon helped to make the book worth reading. I wonder who will be the winner in the end?! Gideon? Abraham? You have to read to find out
